work was completed quickly and we were happy with the outcome. We had a couple of small call-outs after the work was done and Tico's easily corrected. Very easy to work with and I would recommend them for roofing!

Poorly. I contacted them to get an estimate on new gutters and they scheduled an appt. However no one showed up or called to cancel. I called immediately after the missed appt and left a message to ask what happened and to reschedule. I never received a follow up call or any information regarding the fact that no one came.

Came out for a quote and never sent one out, gave me a price on the spot but even after two follow ups on my part never heard back again.

Jorge came on time, diagnosed my problem, gave me an estimate, and provided some good advice. Once I decided to move ahead, they were able to come very quickly and did a great job.

Jorge was very friendly and gave me an estimate in a very timely manner. Then once I agreed to the price quoted, I scheduled a date and he sent a colleague to my house and did the job. Called me when he found an additional piece of wood behind that had rotted and asked if i wanted that replaced as well. Once I agreed, replaced a few panels of wood and painted it. Looks brand new and done within a few days. I would definitely hire them again.

Work began as planned and was completed a day sooner than promised. We were very pleased with the quality of the work. We have contracted them to do another project for us this month.

After getting frustrated with these so called contractors i decided to go on angies list and try out using tico's carpentry.Im glad i did. First, Hugo a representative of the company came out and did a free estimate.After the estimate we agreed on a price and a date. On the date we agreed on,the workers came and finished the job that day. Not only was I completely satisfied,but my neighbors also said they did a great job. Called for an estimate on siding repair. Someone showed up, took a look, and said he would get back to me with the estimates. Waited 1 week, no estimate. Called back but never got an estimate. Waste of my time.

Excellent job. They recommended a structural engineer who helped with the design. They were then prompt, courteous, and professional in the work. I would highly recommend Tico's.

Before obtaining my estimate, the sales person surveyed my roof, and also took pictures to show me what condition my roof was in. The roofers arrived at the exact time which was stated, and began working promptly. They were courteous, and answered all questions which I had. They covered my garden and other areas with tarp, so that no debris would not fall into these areas. The workers removed the old tiles and quickly replaced it with the new materials. The entire job was completed by the end of the day. Once the job was completed, they cleaned the entire area around my home, and also took pictures of my finished roof for me to see. I was very pleased with Tico's Carpentry and Roofing, and would recommend them to anyone who needs to have their roof repaired or replaced.

It seemed like it was going to be fine, and then now again the steps are crumbling and falling apart and now I have to have someone else come out and fix them again.

Window installers were excellent. Work was performed efficiently and on-time. Owner of the firm was available for discussions. Foreman was on the job, and was both knowledgeable and courteous. Choose this firm after getting at least three other estimates. Price was similar among all bidders. I felt I was able to ask any question and get an answer from Jorge the owner. He knows what he is doing.

Alex Prado was punctual, courteous and professional. I had a small water leakage in Master Bedroom. He looked at it from the inside then went up to the roof where he walked along it and lift the tiles where the leakage was. He then went to check the condition of the gutters. His assessment was that the roof was in good condition and there was nothing wrong with its installation (please refer to my review on Powell's roofing whose assessment was that roof needed to be replaced due to incorrect installation). However, gutter was rickety and tilting towards the front so the back edge of the gutter was pushing end roof upwards, which was in turn making the water run through the tiles instead of to the gutter. He also suggested to replace lower gutter for extra $450 + tax. I went for a third opinion ( Rich Carlson) that may confirm one of the two previous assessments.

They answered the phone and made an appointment within 2 days. They showed up on time and agreed to do the job the same day. It was completed in several hours and the price of $1200 seems fair. I can't say yet whether the repairs absolutely fixed the leak because I'll need a very heavy - and very long - rain to know for sure. But so far no more leak.

He gave me a detailed estimate and explained everything that would need to tale place. A few hours later I had a written proposal / estrimate in my email. Jorge's crew showed up on time and completed all work as promised. Finish work is very profession and looks as good as original. Crew contacted me while doing the work when they found additional rot that could not be seen from the ground and still completed within timeframe. I have used Ticos Carpentry several times and would recommend them for this type of work.
