Chris Fontana came to my home to give me a repair or replacement estimate for the porch and roof. He was very professional and knowledgeable with ideas on how to approach my massive construction dilemma. And despite my not having made up my mind yet as to what I will do, I am strongly considering some of his recommendations. Vic and Silva's crew were very professional and prompt. They did what was stated in the job. Loving the patio now with my wife. Hoping to use it as much as possible!

The owner came to my home, showed us books with the different types of siding and windows they had to offer. As for the bathroom, he showed us pictures of different types and designs they had done to give us ideas on what we wanted. He informed us of home improvement loans we could apply for and worked with us to fit our budget. He was courteous and patient, didn't rush us or try to push the sale. On both jobs, the men showed up on time, everyday and immediately started working. They cleaned up at the end of each day they were here as best as possible. During the two times they here, there were a few issues but they were easily resolved with a phone call. Even afterwards, when we noticed some things were missed or not fully completed, the owner sent the men back within a timely manner to resolve all issues. We would highly recommend this company.

Magnolia was extremely professional and attentive. Even though my job was smaller than most of the jobs they do, they came onsite multiple times to ensure that I would comfortable with the assessment and that they were well prepared for the job. Chris was in contact with me multiple times and was always great! His mean were quick and very friendly. They changed out the windows, repainted the frames and ensure that everything was neat and tidy when they left. Will definitely use them in the future!

We contracted with Magnolia Home Remodeling Group to renovate 2 full bathrooms (a master bathroom, the kids/guest bathroom). We also had a 3rd room that was a combined laundry/powder room in a very awkward configuration that we wanted to separate into 2 separate spaces. Out of all of the contractors we talked with, Chris at Magnolia was the only person who was able to come up with a solution to our problem - which is ultimately why we hired them. He created a plan to move the appliances to a different location, box them in with a wall and custom sized bi-fold doors. We were skeptical because the space was so tight and everyone else we had spoken to said it wasn't possible, but he was confident and ultimately was able to deliver on his promise, and we are thrilled! Chris and his crew were sensitive to our timelines despite a busy holiday season, and started the work right away. The crew was extremely accommodating. They were polite, professional, clean, and did great work. They worked around our crazy schedules and at times crazy demands for design changes, delays in sourcing our own materials, furniture, fixtures, etc. They even sent a crew on Christmas Eve to temporarily rig up a working sink so that our guests for the holidays would have access to a functional bathroom, and while we were traveling they continued work and communicated with us through picture messages so that we could see the progress on the job. These are just two examples of how they went above an beyond what what I expected from a contractor. On top of all of that, they are great people, which makes a world of difference. They really care about their customers and work hard to make them happy, which I respect a great deal. We will be doing a lot of business with Magnolia in the future - they are now our go to contractor for sure!

Victor Fiore met with my husband and I in my home and explained the work in detail. He was very courteous and professional and we felt comfortable hiring him for the job. I was informed of the day the work would be done and they arrived to complete the work that same day. I received photos of the work as they progressed on the roof and got pictures of the finished work as well. I did not need to be home for them to do the work and the finished product was amazing. They brought in a dumpster, took all the garbage and left things clean. I would definitely use them again for other work in the home.

I would most definately recommend this provider to anyone. From the initial request to the end of the job, this provider was most professional and responsive. My initial contact was Wed, we schedule an appt for Thurs, Vic showed up at the time he said would. He gave me the weekend to think about it, contacted me on Monday, I gave him the go ahead, the crew was at my house at 8am Tues and gone by Thursday. In one weeks time, I had my (2 family) house completely sided with ABSOLUTELY NO STRESS. Unbelievable service. The crew went above and beyond what they needed to do, painting some areas for me.

Victor and Magnolia group did an excellent job at installing premium vinyl sidings over our existing wood sidings that were getting old. We were searching for contractors to do this job and Magnolia provided us all the details of what they were going to do, which siding products they will use, etc at our initial meeting, so we were satisfied. We then agreed to their cost of service and paid them the first deposit. After a few days the contractors started working on the job. The contractors were very nice and dedicated to their work. After about 1 and a half week, the work was completed. All of our requests were promptly fulfilled and we had such easy communication with Victor to mention all of the things we needed. The house now looks beautiful. Thank you Magnolia!

First, my family has been working with a family owned licensed contractor for over 20 years, since I was a child. He has become part of our family to the extent that we could leave our house in his care without anyone having to be home. Unfortunately, he fell ill and advised us to start looking and researching other contractors for the extensive remodeling projects that we want done to our home. After 6 months of research, interviews, and estimates, we decided to go with Magnolia Home Remodeling Group. Chris Fontana was prompt on answering our calls, professional, and on time for our appointment. Their estimates were competitive, not even the lowest, but it was Chris' professionalism, courtesy, and approachability that swayed our decision to go with Magnolia Home Remodeling Group. When work started, the workers were courteous, professional, methodical, and always cleaned up after themselves when work for the day was completed. Demo was nothing like what you see on TV. The debris was contained and transferred to the dumpster with surgical precision. It was pleasant to see craftsman who take pride in their work and on top of that, they never said no to any of our requests. During the whole process, Chris was always reachable and I did not have to wait long for an answer or a call back. The finished products were 2 fully renovated bathrooms and 1 fully renovated kitchen that were beautifully finished and constructed with the design and details we requested. Chris and Magnolia Home Remodeling Group made the whole remodeling process as smooth as possible which I am grateful for due to the fact that I was in my 2nd year at Grad School working towards my double MBA. Now that I have completed my MBA, I finally had time to post this review. I look forward to building a good standing relationship with Chris Fontana and his guys at Magnolia Home Remodeling Group. *UPDATE* Magnolia Home Remodeling Group has a warranty on their work and at the beginning of May 2015, I called Chris to point out some touch-up work that needed to be done. Again, Chris answered promptly and work was done ASAP. Very professional!

The window replacement went smoothly. They replaced 19 very old windows in one day. The workers keep the home neat and clean. And they were pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend using Magnolia again. The bath room remodel also went smoothly. The workers were professional and their work was beautiful. We had many last minute changes and all the people at Magnolia were happy to make the changes. Most importantly the work they did is just beautiful. The workers were easy to work with. As soon as we are ready to redo are kitchen Magnolia is the only company We will call. Magnolia always came on time they did beautiful work and working with Magnolia was a delight.

First, I have to say that this is by far the best experience in terms of work done in our home. The level of professionalism and the level of the work really surpassed all the expectations we have considering the huge investment we put for this project. My wife wanted to totally remodel her kitchen and we wanted to make sure that the people that did the work were top of the line in terms of quality. When thinking of doing such an extensive and expensive work, you have to be totally sure that you are paying the right people and Magnolia Home Remodeling Group were just that and more. Prior to signing with them we did an extensive research and met with 3 different companies. All of them for the most part offered the same service. What really moved the scale for us in favor of Magnolia was VJ?s presentation. His professionalism throughout the whole process from signing papers/ follow ups and final stage was superb. We are firm believers in the human quality of the people that you bring to your house and VJ really passed that test with flying colors. In terms of the work, I can?t give more compliments to the crew that worked there. These people take their job very seriously. Every detail was carefully done. The level of craftsmanship in every single step was beautifully cared. Another impressive thing about the crew was the humility and eagerness to do every single thing asked. Never was a moment that we asked for something that was not done; and always with a smile. The work was completed a week and a half before the date given. My wife is super happy with her kitchen and can?t wait to have friends over to show it. All in all, If you are thinking about doing any remodeling or major construction, you will find many contractors offering you the moon. If you want the whole package in terms of work, care and professionalism from top to bottom, Magnolia Home Remodeling Group is by far your best option.

We are very pleased with the work done by Magnolia and would contact them again for work in the future. The initial contact was through Angie's list messages. They responded back within 30 minutes! We were able to set up an appointment within the week. Chris gave us a reasonable estimate based on the amount of work to be done. We signed our contract on Thursday and he was working immediately on Friday getting our permits. Work started quickly after that. The work crew was efficient and effective. They were able to remove our steps in a few days and prepped the ground for replacement quickly. They started early everyday. The full job was completed in little over three weeks (that is including several non-work days due to rain). Chris was in constant communication with us to make sure we knew what was going on and to see if we were happy with the work. Financing was also very easy and a great help to getting the job started and completed quickly. Thanks for making our front steps and walk look great!

I was very happy with the overall experience. I was able to schedule an appointment with VJ on a Saturday just a few days after my initial call. It was still early in their season so they were able to get work started roughly a week after meeting with him. I had previously reached out to a couple other roofers, who would show up and provide brief initial estimates, but needed to come back and confirm the estimate or do additional work, but they were really hard to get back out. Details of the job included: Removal of the old slate roof, including any rotten plywood boards, fascia or rafters. Installed 6' of ice and water damage protection. Installed 15lb organic moisture barrier to roof surface. Installed Pro-Start starter shingle to protect against wind lift up. Installed F-5 aluminum white drip edge on all eaves and rakes. Replaced vent stack flashing. Installed flashing around base of chimney. Cut back wood decking and installed roof safer ridge vent to allow for proper ventilation. Timberline lifetime shingles installed. Replaced two skylights and installed trim on the inside (as the size was slightly different). Removed and replaced all gutters and drains with larger 6" gutters and 2x3 leaders. Removed slate shingles on one wall (probably about 6'x10') and replaced with wood shake siding to match the rest of the exterior walls. They also volunteered to remove an old television antenna that the previous owner had installed. Grounds cleaned, including a metal detector sweep. The whole job took about 5 working days. They didn't work on days when rain was moving through, so it was a little over a week from start to finish. I would get regular updates from VJ as well as the foreman. I only had two minor complaints about the job. The first was that had mentioned an issue with a drain pipe coming out under a roof eave and wanted them to take a look at it once they had opened the roof up and see if they could fix the underlying issue, or have it drain out into the gutter. When they had finished that section I noticed that they didn't make any changes to the drain position. I spoke to foreman and he took a look in our attic and then better understood the issue. He resolved it the next day and made sure it drained to the gutter. I just had to stay on them for that item. The second was that they were replacing the fascia boards with unfinished pine wood. I wanted to have it at least painted with a primer to protect the wood from water damage, but once they finished putting on the gutters it would be impossible to paint. So on a Sunday in which they were off I painted the ones installed near the ground and had to ask them to paint any other others that they either hadn't installed yet or had installed in higher places. But they wouldn't have done that if I hadn't asked. With everything else, they were pro-active in fixing issues uncovered as the roof was opened up. All and all a great job; I am very happy with my new non-leaking roof. I didn't get actual final terms from any other roofers to compare the price apples to apples. As I mentioned above I struggled to get any reliable roofers to provide me with such an estimate. But based on the preliminary estimates received Magnolia seemed to be a bit more expensive than the competition. But honestly I didn't mind paying a bit extra to have the job done right.

As the weather during the month of April is not necessarily cooperative, we had to postpone a couple of days. We did make use of the earliest opportunity for the good weather.

Chris was at my house at the time we had specified. He was very courteous and professional. He knows his stuff. We eventually went with a family friend for the work but I would like to hire him in the future. I had a very good experience.

I dealt with Chris, MHRG owner. I found him to be courteous, respectful and a a good listener who pays attention to my requests and ideas. Chris was also very easy to contact and quick to respond. Most importantly , Magnolia's pricing is reasonable/ competitive and their workmanship superior. My home improvements turned out so well I'm having Magnolia HRG remodel my fireplace in my family room!!!

This was my and my husband's first time dealing with a home remodel and with VJ and Magnolia; we'd do it all over again. We started with a tiny, old kitchen and ended with a beautiful, modern kitchen. The whole thing was a gut job and VJ was there to help us the whole way. VJ and his staff were able to help us do everything we wanted and still remain within budget. We had a wall knocked down that was separating the old kitchen from the dining room. At first, it looked like we were going to have the new header exposed and still somewhat dividing the rooms at the ceiling. It would have looked terrible and also would not allow us to move the appliances around the way we wanted. However, VJ and his architect figured out a way to make it work by making some changes all while dealing with initial permitting issues. We always knew what was happening and when. We were really in the loop which is a good feeling to have when dealing with such a huge job. VJ was only a text away to deal with any of our concerns or to answer any questions we may have had. Overall, we were absolutely thrilled with the end result and would recommend Magnolia to everybody.

Expert and professional. Magnolia's crew went about their business with respect, responsibility, and care for the job. Polite. Personable. Little details set them apart from other contractors in that the crew chief added extra touches like trimming a small bush in front and hosing down part of the roof to clean it; all part of the new "look" they were giving our home.

I had replacement windows installed and it went incredibly well. VJ from Magnolia provided very prompt service with everything going exactly like he described. His crew did an excellent job with the installation and the clean-up (my garage floor looks cleaner now then when they started). VJ saved me thousands of dollars by suggesting I keep a couple of custom, decorative windows that I thought had to be replaced because of their location. I have recommended Magnolia Home Remodeling to my sister and she is having them remodel a bathroom as well as install replacement windows. Her experience is going very well.

I was very pleased having chosen Magnolia Home Remodeling for my bathroom renovation. The job started as scheduled and was maintained well from start to finish. Working with a tricky space to to begin with, the team was able to translate my vision into a custom spa experience. Having chosen high end components and materials, I was very pleased with the time and effort taken to make sure everything was correct. Everything from the intricate tile work to the custom floating vanity was installed with care and precision. With a growing list of projects around the house, Magnolia will be the first number I call.

After getting three estimates, I chose Magnolia because the price was the best and I had a good feeling after meeting with Vic. In addition, he guaranteed the timing of the project - I wanted it done before my daughter gave birth, due on 12/13/14. The foreman (Phil) was wonderful and had his men set us up in another room with our fridge and microwave, and left us a functioning sink as well as washer/dryer in the laundry room. Everyone was courteous and professional and worked well, even with two small children in the house, closing off the work areas to keep the debris and dirt/dust confined to the work areas and leaving our family room and dining room functional. They cleaned up along the way each day and even went one step further and cleaned out more of the garage than they actually dirtied!!! I was contacted every step of the way to make sure I was available for appointments to measure for cabinets and counters, and notified when plumbing/electrical work was to be done. The cabinet installer Andre, was terrific. The work was completed prior to the due date!!! I am very happy with the results and have received many compliments. It came out exactly as I had hoped and envisioned!!! I would highly recommend them for any type of remodel and might be contacting them again for work around the house - a new roof for instance! They became part of our family while they were here and we were all very comfortable and at ease with them!

From the very first meeting with VJ in early November, he was professional and very encouraging. It was a difficult decision to make with the remodel project but he was very patient and helped with good decisions that ended with a beautiful kitchen. He was very respectful of costs and never tried to push more expensive alternatives. The cabinets are exactly what I wanted and even though it is a small galley kitchen, it feels very roomy now. His suggestions to shift some things just by a few inches (including the offset faucet which I love) made a huge difference in the finished product. The team was great -- Phil was so helpful and does beautiful work and Joseph even came on Saturdays to help get the project finished. When the demolition was done some problems became apparent and they fixed them, insulated the walls and sheet rocked before moving ahead. VJ always responded within minutes to phone calls or texts. I thank them all for being so patient with me and walking me through the appliance delivery traumas. Everything fit just as they said it would. The quartz countertops are great and the tile backsplash turned out great. I will call them first for future projects.

The job was well done. They even can around to seal the windows to our expectations as an added measure on our part!
