The price was right. The contract had good detail about everything to be done. There were some siding challenges, including house corners with a deck structure abutting and an underlying board above the front door making the siding bend from true vertical. Satisfactory solutions were worked out. Also, some gutter downspouts needed to connect to existing pipes under the deck or into below ground pipes, which was done perfectly. The work was started very promptly and completed quickly. We were able to go away for a few days during the work with confidence that the job was in good hands with Vic as our representative with the subcontractors.

We had a master bath remodeled. Working with Magnolia has been a truly great experience, which really means something when you are talking about construction in your home. Chris was wonderful to work with, he was very respectful, helpful with the design and we appreciated that his main objective to make sure we were happy versus trying to keep to his schedule. Frank was terrific. His attention to detail was spot on and he and his team’s workmanship & craftsmanship was excellent. He put in beautiful wainscoting that makes the bathroom really awesome. We also had new lighting put in and plumbing re-done/moved to enlarge the bath. They kept to the planned schedule and we now have a beautiful master bath. We also had an new Anderson patio door installed by Frank which was also done well and square. We would highly recommend Magnolia(and already have) to anyone looking for a great contractor. (and don’t understand why the previous review would score them low when they didn’t do any work for the prior reviewer!) We would definitely use them for any future projects.

These guys were wonderful! We got several estimates for this job and Magnolia came in with an estimate that was mid-way in the group. The best part was that they did not try to up sell us to get something we really didn't need. The vinyl selection was good and all questions were answered! We wanted to make some changes to the contract concerning the style of the vinyl and add some peak vents to the house. All handled very professionally with no problem! Chris, Rodrigo and the crew were very professional, responsive and did a wonderful job. We are very happy with the outcome!

They are just great! I bought one of their deals on Anjies list and they reached out to me almost immediately. Vic the project manager set time to meet with me and followed up with telephone calls and text messages regularly to report progress. The job was perfectly done and all agreed timeline were met. I couldn't be happier.

My sister and I are delighted with the results. The house has been literally transformed from decayedand crumbling into a beautiful and noteworthy living space. Chris, in his characteristically earnest manner, had provided many verbal assurances, and I am pleased to say he delivered on every single one of them to the best of my knowledge. I had the pleasure of getting Magnolia Home Remodeling Group from my sister in law who had a major kitchen remodeling job done. They were so pleased with Chris and the timeline of the job, that I needed to get them in for an estimate at my home. I was looking for a kitchen and bathroom remodeling job, with a possible siding job if the price was right. I called Chris, as a referral and he remembered everything about my in laws place which was done 6 months prior. He set up a meeting within a few days and made a very good impression on me, as someone who not only knows his stuff, but someone who told the truth about pricing out the cost of a really well done kitchen. He took notes on everything we wanted done and said an estimate would take about a week based on the amount of work we needed done. After all is said and done, we decided to do the whole job with them. Yes, we did get other quotes, and no, he was not the cheapest. But he explained why his pricing was this way and I took some solace that he was a very genuine, honest, hardworking person. He was almost right on with his targeted timeline, only to miss by a few days due to some weather delays but it did not deter me from giving his name as a referral to some of my neighbors and family members. I would not hesitate to use them in the future and neither should anyone reading this review. They are top-notch.

I can honestly say Chris and his team exceeded every possible expectation we had for price, quality, and professionalism. would recommend him without reservation to closest family and friends. Will probably never use another contractor as long as I live in the area.

The owner of this business came to meet me at my house. He talked about his great million dollar company, while we discussed the projects I had in mind. Without an attempt to measure anything or even getting up to take a look what I was looking to do in both rooms (kitchen and bathrooms), he gave me a ridiculous estimate. He went on to show me pictures of many of the jobs they have done- the very same ones I had access on their website, while he continued to talk about him. himself and his company. Luckly for me, I had interviewed quite a few people, so I knew he was not the one we would hire. However, I asked questions and when we were done he agreed to email me an accurate estimate and more details for me to review and make a decision. Needless to say, that was the last time I heard from him. Although I am grateful, I found the whole approach extremely rude and disrespectful. I own a small house, but I have a substantial budget to get the work done. Sadly, he left a really bad impression and I will not hesitate to tell everyone if I find they are planning to hire this company. Rudeness and lack of profesionalism were major issues for me.

Chris and the entire team at Magnolia are true professionals. Chris is very customer focused. He showed up on time for his appointment to give an estimate, followed through to share his recommendation and pricing and was always available throughout all projects. Any calls or texts were responded to within minutes. The team that did the work were neat, organized and the caliber of the work done was great. They kept me informed of the sequence of the work to be done at all times. The project was completed on time. Very rare to find a renovation company that cares about its customers in the way Magnolia does it. I picked out the paint, doors, countertops, lighting and flooring. They took care of everything else including the plumber and electrician, all permits and the follow up inspection. I hired them to replace my kitchen skylights that were damaged due to snow and ice in March. They promptly sent an estimate to my insurance company and worked to complete the installation around my schedule.

It appears that the job went well.... we shall see! The cost of the roof was a bit more than expected when compared to other estimates that I had previously received so I am truly hoping that the quality of the roof compares to the cost. Victor is a great sales person and keeps you informed of timelines, etc., which is helpful.

They were phenomenal, professional from beginning to end. It was the best contractor experience that we ever had. We had met with two other Angie's List contractors, but had a good feeling about Vic, which proves to be correct. The most important thing was how proactive and responsive he was throughout.

Much Better than expected. The entire process from our first meeting with Vic until completion was a pleasure. Vic always responded in a timely manner to answer any question or concern. That includes after the project. MOST of the time, once you pay the contractors they become harder to track down than Big foot. NOT the case here. We look forward to working with Magnolia again on future projects.

We highly recommend Magnolia Home Remodeling Group (MHRG) for your home project needs! They provided us with quality work in a timely manner. Al, Chris, Frank and all the workers went above and beyond for our unique situation. We recently had the opportunity to move back home to NJ from out of state and decided to first update our childhood 1960s split level home's full bathroom (complete gut with new insulation, tub, tiles, toilet, floor tiles, vanity, lighting), install laminate wood floors, paint walls/ceilings/trim and replace all doors (basically give the interior of the house a much needed update) before we moved back. Despite the distance MHRG was able to communicate with us, meet with us based on our travel schedule and keep our property secure and safe during the process. They took care of securing the proper permits and inspections as well. Everything was done in 5-6 weeks (much shorter than anticipated) despite an unexpected snow storm in March. They even moved our car around whenever it needed to be off the streets. Our experience was truly exceptional and the end results were spectacular! We will be doing other projects with MHRG to the exterior of our house (steps, deck) in the near future without hesitation.

Vic was our contact from day 1 and was professional, punctual, and always pleasant! A true pleasure to work with. We watched the workers and masons and the tedious long days and they were true professionals and the final product confirmed that. It's gorgeous! Vic also was always accessible and responsive and showed a true passion for the quality of his work. Vic also oversaw the project daily and made sure all was moving along timely and smoothly. From start to finish, it was a positive experience. Chris listened closely when we talked about our needs, priorities and budget, came up with new ideas that we'd never thought of for improving our patio space, and didn't hesitate to find ways to save us money along the way (for example, using fewer square feet of paving stones but still making great use of the space available). He gave us a detailed work plan and schedule, and followed them to a T. There were no hidden costs or surprises. His communication was always excellent -- phone calls and e-mails were always returned promptly, and requests were addressed quickly. The subcontractors he used for the masonry and wooden framing were real pros, and all had been working with Chris for years. Any little extras we asked for were taken care of to our complete satisfaction. We would enthusiastically recommend Magnolia Home Remodeling and will certainly turn to Chris and Magnolia again for future jobs.

I am very grateful and impressed by everyone at Magnolia. It started off with a great meeting with Al and him taking extra time to go over details and even give us suggestions on other renovations we might do even without his company. Leo was our installer and he and his partner did an excellent job with installing the windows as well as tidying up the workplace when he was done. They even came back two days later to pick up the debris and make our window areas look brand new. Thank you to everyone at the team. I would definitely hire again in the future.

The work was done quick and efficiently. Communication was very easy. The clean up at the end was a little lacking but overall we are satisfied with the work.

It was a fairly large job. This was my first time using them, and would recommend them to anyone. They had to put in a line for the sewer and plumbing. They gave me an estimate ahead of time, and the end cost matched the beginning estimate. They were friendly. Vic is the owner, and he came out personally. He was very polite, and so was his crew. We got detailed architectural drawings of how things would be place. We worked on this with them. There were at least 5 employees who did the work.

Chris, Renato and their team do great work at a very competitive price. They made sure that I was happy with every detail from start to finish. I wish they did every type of home improvement project so I wouldn't need to hire anyone else. It's clear to me that their high ratings here are well deserved.

We anticipated that a complete “to the studs” bathroom rennovation would be a difficult process, but working with Magnolia made it far easier than we anticipated. The quality of work from demo to rebuild including carpentry, tile work, plumbing and electrical was first rate. The owner was readily available to answer questions, address concerns and resolve any problems that came up via text, phone or email. Communication was excellent. Magnolia did a great job scheduling it’s team and working with the township to acquire permits and ensure that town inspections were scheduled as quickly as possible to keep the project moving along and on schedule. Magnolia was also flexible in working with us to address condominium association rules with respect to debris removal. Overall it could not have gone better and we could not be happier with the new bathroom

The whole team at Magnolia are true professionals and do an excellent job on every front. We hired them n July 2016 to remodel our Kitchen. Al who came to review our old ktichen and to give quote was very patient, excellent listener and made me feel very comfortable. He was not pushy at all and was one of the reason why i decided on Magnolia. We had a very bad experience with another contractor we had hired previously to fix our Garage so i was very scared. My husband wanted me to manage this project so i was intimidated by this big responsibility but Vic and the project manger John made it easy. It was a big job, but we finished on schedule and I can honestly say it was a pleasure. I was worried about going over the budget but Vic always gave us options and recommended vendors who gave us good deal and excellent quality on counter tops. There were some stressful moments for no reason but Vic was a phone call away to resolve the issues quickly and to our satisfaction. Not once i can think when Vic didnt reply to my calls or messages. The craftsmanship was excellent and the project was completed timely. I extended the project by asking them to do a flooring in another room. The whole team was courteous, helpful and very professional. I will be using their services for other projects for sure and will strongly recommend them. I felt very comfortable working with their team.

The co-owner of the company, Vic, was the main person we dealt with from quote to completion and he was extremely responsive throughout. We weren't exactly the extent of the work required and Vic guided us to do the work that was necessary. For example, another quote we received the representative was trying to push us to install a new roof and install skylights, which turned out to be totally unnecessary. Every worker that either worked for Magnolia or that Vic contracted to do work was showed-up when scheduled, were very courteous, performed excellent work, and made sure the area was clean before they left. During the project Vic kept in constant communication as required through instant messaging, and made himself available for a phone call or in-person visit when required. When issues did arise it was never a problem, and they were quickly addressed to meet my needs. Overall all the work performed exceeded my expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to use Magnolia Home Remodeling again, or to recommend them to anyone for home improvement work.

USE THIS COMPANY!! From start to finish our experience was beyond our expectation! Vic was professional and a true pleasure to work with! He promptly responded to every email and phone call, and kept us informed during every phase. He made us feel comfortable to ask questions and make requests, and worked seamlessly with our interior designer during the powder room reno. The quote was clearly explained - we added on the powder room renovation after they quoted the siding - we had a revised quote within a day. Work started on schedule, and a tight deadline was met with room to spare, despite some delays in materials. The workmanship of his crew was excellent and precise, we've found nothing out of line or any shortcuts taken. A tiny bit of paint from the railings got onto the siding and steps, and after mentioning it to Vic was quickly remedied. You can tell MHRG takes great pride in their work and craftsmanship. When we decided to undertake these projects we did our homework and vetted 4 Angie's List contractors (the scariest and most difficult part of the process!). MHRG was the only one who included the electrical work, which helped us make our decision. Plus, from the start, we had a good vibe about Vic, he is very genuine and seemed to be in control of the whole process...we get the sense he truly loves his work! No need to look any further for a contractor, we will be using MHRG for all of our future home projects, inside and out!
