Partner Chris Fontana was very helpful throughout the bidding process. He was extremely accommodating on price and forthcoming on the knowledge needed to select and install siding and windows. Magnolia is not the cheapest but they are also not the most expensive which is a good guide to selecting a good quality contractor. During the installation, Chris was always stopping by, checking in with his crew and calling to make sure we were happy with the progress. The workman always cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day and were on site until the job was done. They never left to work on another project so the house was done in a timely manner. The workmanship was also of high quality. When a few unexpected obstacles were found as happens on every job, there was no nickel and diming. Chris took care of it. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Magnolia. Chris came to the house twice to show us swatches and talk through the project. He even came with me to another house in our neighborhood to compare colors. Because the job was going to be done in January I was a little concerned about the weather but Chris kept in constant communication and despite some temperatures in the teens, they got it done quickly. Magnolia managed all of the permitting and the dumpster and made our lives easier throughout the process. Rodrigo and Milton who were at the house daily were amazing and paid so much attention to detail. We are so thrilled with how it turned out and I would recommend Magnolia to anyone. We will absolutely be using them for future projects!

I was told that the company could not help and to call after closing. It is evident that they do not understand the home purchasing process. The buyer and seller need to negotiate a financial solution and have work performed.

We worked with owners, Chris and Vic, on several renovations over the past two years. Our roof was redone in 2015 (gutter replacement and chimney repair included) and our siding was completed in 2016. Both jobs were done in a timely fashion and kept within our budget. We had no hesitation entrusting the experts at MHRG with these home improvement projects. Chris and Vic are true professionals. They immediately answer and address our questions always ensuring quality work and customer satisfaction. We are using MHRG once again this year (2017) for a complete kitchen remodel. I could not be happier with the finished product. Chris was always available to address any question or concern and the crews did a wonderful job. I received several estimates and opinions on how to complete the project. I decided on Magnolia based on their customer service during the estimate process and they did not disappoint. Chris and his crews were professional, courteous, and responsive, and I would not hesitate in using them again or recommending them to others.

My house was so much smaller, they beat the special they had on Angie's List. They were so quick. They did it in one day. They cleaned up after themselves when they were done.

Very well. An excellent job. Vice Fiore was not the low bidder but seemed to understand what I was looking for. He reviewed all aspects of the job with me -- budget, schedule, responsibilities, materials, exclusions . Magnolia started the job as agreed and finished pretty much on time and on budget. It was a pleasure working with Vic and his team, and the end result is terrific, even after the passage of some time. If I had one thing to change, it would be to add to the layers of protection for the rest of the house, always tricky in an old house with lots of plaster.

I had 2 layers of shingles removed and the wood was probably from when the house was built back in 60's. Had new wood, skylight installed with the new roof installed on my home plus insulation. It was one long 12 hour day but everything was stripped and done in one day, due to mother nature giving us some rain the week before the start date was delayed by 2 days but was made up by getting everything done within time frame as agreed.

They were professional, and timely. They were also very flexible, and respectful. This was my first time using this company, and would recommend them.

Vic is an absolute pleasure to work with. Whatever I threw at him, he was able to help me fix and repair everything in a timely fashion. Prices are high, but if you want excellent service and the work done properly, you have to pay for it. Totally unrelated to all the work I was getting done on my house, one of the limbs from a tree in my backyard fell on my neighbor's roof, I called Vic and the roof was repaired the following morning. Frank doesn't do much talking, but he definitely knows his stuff. He built my desk in 2 days and it's exactly what I envisioned. I highly recommend Magnolia.

The pricing that they provided was $15,000-$20,000 more than other companies that we talked to. We decided to go with someone else.

Project went well. Very fast and tidy. Had lots of questions and Chris took the time and answered them all. There a lot of firms out there but I ultimately chose Magnolia as Chris's communication was very good. Project was completed two months ago and no issues.

Perfectly! The never ending rain was the only delay. The workmanship, the professionalism, the attention to detail, was all first class. GREAT WORK!!!!

1 existing layer on cape cod. contract signed 4/22/17. had to wait until a day it was not raining or threat of rain. after waiting for about a week, had a break on Saturday - so we had it done on that day. 5 man crew. started before 8 am finished about 6 pm. 95% done on that day. foreman came back on Monday to finish flashing on chimney, etc. on Saturday they had an issue with the vent pipe (too large & a knuckle), so all they did was caulk it. that was not acceptable. talked to the contractor. they were very responsive. on Monday they put flashing & karmic roofing cement, and some other covering. that should not be a problem. cleaning afterwards: was cleaner than I expected. after putting the debris in the dumpster, they used a leaf blower on the roof and the ground(I did lend them a broom). they had this strange looking device, which turned out to be a large magnet on wheels. this found almost all of the nails (device had some issues where there was metal, like the downspouts and under the dumpster). only area I had a problem with was the permits. had to call them twice after the job was done to get that finished and inspected and the final bill sent. (I waited until that was done to do the review). costs: 5995 from angie's list, plus the permit($119 - union township) & $75 fee for processing the permits(my brother in-law thought that was reasonable) = $ 6189. additional comments on costs: my house was small, so it took only about 1850 sq feet. the contract allows up to 2000 sq feet. a larger home will cost more(they said that could add $2000 or more to the cost of a large home). had an agreement for any rotted wood to be replaced at $75 per 4x8 . that turned out not to be needed, but if you have a leak, there could be several that need to be replaced. they use 3 and 5 member crews, so the 3 member crew or a larger house will probably take more that 1 day. general comment(on any roof job): probably a good idea to check the downspouts/gutters after the first hard rain. I found 1 or 2 clogged, probably from the dust, nails, etc. that is probably unavoidable. price was good, but at over $6000 am loath to call it excellent.

Kept me up to date; asked questions; came up with solutions and really gave me a AAA bathroom; workers were neat and friendly and always on time; no complaints

Sales person was very professional. There was an issue that was quickly corrected. The work was timely, done within the same day. The workers were cordial and worked diligently. Looks great!

We were impressed with our first experience with Al when he arrived to provide an estimate. He was friendly, punctual, professional and continued to work with us for weeks as we made changes, etc. Unlike other contractors they kept in direct contact with us throughout the entire process and made everything as easy as possible! Their siding/roofing crew was amazing, friendly and accommodating! Vic our project manager kept in constant contact and quickly addressed any concerns. I would highly recommend Magnolia

The results were AWESOME! I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful outcome. Chris Fontana spent almost two hours explaining all aspects and products that would achieve my desired results. I was able to view many photos of their previous work, all high quality and expertly done. I never felt any pressure to hire them. Chris was the consummate professional and was always available to answer any questions and concerns. The masonry crew were always prompt, polite and highly professional. They were meticulous in their craft and took great pride in their work. Timelines were right on target and now I can enjoy the stunning results for years to come.
