Excellent contractor. From the first meeting to discuss options to the follow-up after the work was complete Magnolia was the finest experience we have ever encountered. The Roofers and the Deck carpenters and installers were professionals. They arrived early in the morning and worked until sundown leaving the area clean every evening. The work was completed quickly and Chris Fontana responded to ever call, text or email quickly. We will definitely be using Magnolia for future projects.

It all went very well. Victor and Philip were very courteous, professional and polite. I had asked for extra things and they were able to accommodate me. The workers were there early and some saturdays. They scheduled the inspections and were always just a call away if I had any problems.

My wife and I could not be happier with the work that Magnolia did. This was a big project for us, saving $$ for over 6 years - but Vic and Mike were great in walking us through our options, the process, and the overall work from start to finish. -Magnolia provided the following services to our 2 story corner lot Modified Cape in Morris County: Removed old cedar shingles (what a job - but its the right thing to do), vapor wrapped and foam installation of the home, Vinyl shake install over whole house + detached garage, window encasements (16 windows + sun room and bay window), new vinyl railings and ceiling on porch, construction of 7'x5' portico over side door with recessed light. -From initial visit, Vic was friendly and laid out the best way to tackle this project, answering a lot of questions along the way. I appreciated his honesty in product selections. Never felt that I was being upsold or getting useless add-ons. He even recommended an alternate window casing that was significantly cheaper and easier to install. Overall their prices were middle/high end of the pack compared to 5 other contractors we spoke with. Given the scope of the project my wife and I were not trying to get by cheap, but we found Magnolia very fair with all of the parts of the job. -Their communication is fantastic. All questions were answered promptly and any adjustments were made without question. They stood by their work and didnt ask for a final payment until we were 100% satisfied. -Once we were underway, the crews showed up when they were expected and work was done in the time-frame that we all agreed upon. (Example - we were given notice when deliveries were coming, when work was going to start, and what should be complete by certain days) -We were really happy with the overall craftsmanship of the whole project. Throughout the workdays we were asked for feedback of how we wanted things to look. The work crews were always willing to give their opinion from their experiences. On the rare occurrence we noticed something out of place it was immediately fixed. I highly recommend these guys for your project.

These guys are fantastic! Our first experience with Magnolia was updating our second floor. New windows, plastering and painting the walls and sanding the floors - a little of everything. In addition we had new front door installed. We were so happy we had them back as soon as possible to help replace the garage door, tile two rooms. and replace the other entry door as well. All the work was done on schedule and the right way the first time. They were not the lowest bid, nor the highest, but the bids also included replacing all the woodwork, trim etc that, on closer inspection other contractors had not included. They are honest professionals and my only regret is that we have to wait to finish our list!

The co-owner, Chris, at Magnolia was stellar!! Hands down, the best contractor experience I've ever had! And I've had some pretty bad ones! Including the company who did the roof I was having replaced! Chris took the time to actually have friendly & informative conversations with me on the phone, since I live 100 miles away from my rental property that was to be getting the new roof. He agreed with me that the shallow pitched sunroom roof was not done correctly by the previous contractor, in that it requires two full layers of ice/water shield over the entire sunroom roof in order to protect against future leaks and wood damage. He also gave me a very, very fair price. Although I have yet to come up to the house to fully inspect his crew's work, one of my tenants is a handyman himself, and said they did a great job, and that the roof looks really good! Oh! And they were also able to replace the J-channels that the last roofer's crew jaggedly ripped out of my vinyl siding, at no extra charge! Chris was an incredible, and refreshing contractor to work with! I HIGHLY recommend Magnolia Home Remodeling Group!!! Chris, you're the BEST! Please don't ever change!

The City, building, electrical and plumbing inspectors process to sign off before and after construction went smoothly. The workers did excellent and exceptional work. We are delighted to allow Magnolia customers to visit our home to view their work.

They were careful to protect my plants and shrubs and once they cleaned up you couldn’t even tell they had been there!! Magnolia Home Remodeling Group is a great company that does 5 STAR work! We used them to install vinyl siding on our home and the team from Magnolia was quick, efficient and thorough during our remodel. It was a pleasure to work with Chris, one of the owners. We recently hired Magnolia Home Remodeling to work on the following items for us: -Room Remodeling -Windows and Doors -Carpentry -General Remodeling -HVAC It was a pleasure working with Vic and his team. They are personal, friendly, very flexible with ideas and changes to the project mid-stream, and the best part is the quality of their work is top notch. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out. Chris Fontana and his great crew at Magnolia did a wonderful job building our beautiful mahogany deck after a fallen tree destroyed our old one. Their professionalism, expertise, responsiveness to our needs, promptness and workmanship are exceptional. We would hire them again in a minute.

We had a great experience having our house sided and front steps replaced by Magnolia. From day one when owner Chris Fontana came to our house for the initial consultation, we were pleased with the professionalism and workmanship demonstrated by his company. Chris was very through in providing us with all the options available for completing our projects. He always responded promptly when we had a question or concern. The siding team of Rodrigo and Milton were top-notch. They worked very hard and did exceptional work! We were very pleased with the end results and would recommend Magnolia to others looking for similar work to be done. We would use them again in the future for other projects.

Gave me an initial price, then as we were ready to sign a contract, they increased the price by $6,000. Chris said he talked with the owners who wanted the higher price. They also wanted 50% of the price prior to start and 90% when the project was 50% complete.

Vic and team were absolutely amazing, work was done on time and within budget and quality was excellent. The team was very professional and accommodative. Couldn’t have asked for more.

I called several different roofing companies to get estimates on replacing my roof. Chris, one of the owners, was quick to respond and we set up an appointment to discuss the project and price. I had an estimate in my email the next day, and the price was comparable to the other companies I had gotten a quote from. I needed to replace the roof as soon as possible, because I was potentially going to list my house on April 16. He squeezed me into his schedule, and his crew showed up bright and early on Saturday morning and got about 95% of the roof completed (it's a ranch, not your typical small colonial) and finished it Sunday morning. I work from home, so having the crew here on Saturday saved me from missing a day of work due to noise. They cleaned everything up and the roof looks amazing. The company Chris used for the gutters was very professional; they came as scheduled and they were done in no time! The drainage off the roof is better than what I had before! I am pleased with the work they did, the timeliness, and the cost. Although I did not end up listing my house as expected, I can now do it at any time without having to wait for an opening in someone's schedule. I have other projects to tackle, so I may be calling Magnolia Home Improvements again soon!

Project went great - from start to completion. Outstanding job! Worked with Chris Fontana and Al Marino, they were both prompt, professional and efficient. Me and my wife were very happy with the outcome, all expectations were met, highly recommended and we'll surely hire them again!

From the first call to the last "inspection", everything went smoothly. Chris and the crew are responsive and professional and even though I had to spent money (usually nothing to be happy about), the process was a joy! The siding went up between the two snow storms we had in March, so it took a bit longer than anticipated, but entirely not their fault. The crew works HARD; on the last day they even stayed until 8:00 pm to finish everything up. Every day they left only after making sure that all the debris was cleaned up and the tools were put away. The house looks great and I am happy.

Magnolia was professional from start to finish of a major project turning my cape into a center stair colonial. We had an addition added and gutted the entire first floor. The subcontractors for Magnolia were phenomenal. The work got done in 4 months just as Vic had said when we met with him day 1. He was in constant contact with us 4-5 times a week during the project. All the vendors used by Magnolia were great. I have had strangers come into my home and comment how great the house looks and every piece of detail was not missed. A shout out to Chris from the construction company who was there working on the house from 7AM - 5AM with his team. Magnolia was so easy to work with it and the entire project was so stress free for me and my pregnant wife. Overall, great job. My home is now exactly how i envisioned it from the first day we had met. I will be going back to Magnolia in a year or 2 when I am ready to put a front porch on my home. Magnolia definitely built my DREAM HOME!! Thanks Vic & Team.

Chris and his team were very professional. The outcome of the project was more than I had imagine. Beautifully done. The crew was on time, they clean up and also kept us informed of all the details. Chris took care of the permits, and inspections of the project which we passed. We had control of picking the color, tile and the bathroom fixtures. The project was done on time and again beautifully done. Thanks to the Magnolia Remodeling Group my family can finally enjoy the ground floor of our home.

Everything was done professionally and the project finished ahead of schedule. Vic was very responsive and went above and beyond to address a layout issue we realized after cabinet installation. This job had many moving parts (carpentry, flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc) and everything was executed smoothly. We are very happy with the whole process and will use Magnolia again.

This was a 6-month long process (starting in July of 2017), involving the total renovation of the first floor (new kitchen, bathrooms, central air, electrical upgrade, etc.), after which the project paused while we moved downstairs. Then, the same was done to the second floor, along with new siding and a new roof. Throughout the entire process, the owner Chris and the project manager Jeff were right on top of everything, letting us know when to expect the various trades and ensuring that the project moved along swiftly. All of the work done was first-rate, and the few problems that came up were addressed in a timely and satisfying manner. We now have a 2-family home that we are proud of, all thanks to Chris and all the people at Magnolia.
