The result was excellent and the process was completely professional. Mike was extremely easy to work with via telephone and email very quick to reply and everything went well from our first contact to completion. He arranged permit and dumpster along with supplies delivery, which were all orchestrated precisely on schedule. The men on site never stopped moving and working and respected our property. Our itemized estimate was prepared with our budget in mind and was met without being exceeded. His business is very organized. We did our homework and out of four different roofers contacted, the free estimate from M&T Roofing consisted of a proposal binder explaining everything with detailed inspection of our entire roof, gutters, chimneys and other parts including photos. Professional contract and insurance documents etc. were provided to us. The experienced workers were exactly on time, and had even managed to clean up all debris and nails on what was an extremely windy day. Done in hours to our delight. Both my husband and I were pleased and we plan to call M&T Roofing again soon for our large detached garage. I worked with Mike at MNT Roofing for the roofing, siding, and gutter replacement on my house this past year. I had three other companies come to provide quotes all for the same work and itemized so I can see which costs where the parts that separated them. He wasn’t the cheapest (3 of the 4 were identical for roofing just as a note) however I felt he was the most straightforward, professional, and I trusted the work they would do for me. The work took about a week and the transformation of my house is amazing, the Royal Haven siding looks so much better than most of the others I had seen. He communicated with me and the finished product was well worth the money. I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for similar work.

Mike from MNT has restored our faith in contractors. He did exactly what he said he would do, he showed up exactly when he said he would and he completed the job exactly when he said it would be done. Yesterday, upon completion, he did a complete walk-through of the project and we were delighted. Today, I received a thank you email along with 30 pictures depicting the entire project to see how progress was made and the workmanship involved. My lawn is spotless, no debris or anything left over. Highly recommended.

I am so extremely happy with the work done by MNT Roofing and Siding. They did a great job! I had the roof and siding replaced along with all new gutters. My house needs a lot of repairs and some good ole TLC and so many things were done incorrectly before Mike and his crew came along. The professionalism and service were great. Mike did everything I asked for and then some. What I like the most is he pays attention to detail and to me lol, he keeps open lines of communication and keeps me informed as things happen, he has a great work ethic. Everyday before leaving for the evening, Mike would knock on my door to let me know he is leaving and gave me the progress completed for the day. In addition, his crew would make sure everything is cleaned up for the day. I just can't say enough...I am very pleased with all the work that was performed at my house. Also, I forgot to mention, his crew is awesome and so hardworking, they are a great bunch. I would definitely recommend Mike and his crew to my family and friends!!! They get 10 stars from me!!

MNT Roofing & Siding were punctual and delivered exactly what was promised. They did an excellent job with my new roof and cleaned up after everything was done. The price was very fair and competitive. The quality of work and material exceeded my expectations. On top of it all, they were gentlemen and professional. I was so pleased with the results, that I had MNT also do my house's siding, which also produced excellent results.

MNT is a fast and professional team. Initially, they tarp your entire house so that the old roof does not make the yard a mess. They finished the job in one day. The roof looks great. I would highly recommend their services.

A great experience. The person in charge, Mike, was very professional, did what he said he would, cared about his work and my satisfaction as a customer; and was overall a pleasure to do business with. I was worried I wouldn't be able to be present during the job to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction but after speaking with Mike I felt more at ease that the work would be done right, and it was. The minor items I had issue with later we remedied the same day. Most importantly I felt like I was in good hands with someone that knows what they are doing, cares about the quality of their work and is not looking to rip me off. Mike also sent me lots of pictures of everything they were doing with I tough was a great touch. Thank you Mike for a wonderful new roof.

Totally unprofessional ! Left an absolute mess. The gutters don't drain. Failed to "take away" old gutters. They left them behind the house.

Overall, very nice job, professional work, helpful in making choice, and pleasant to deal with throughout process. Submitted before and after pictures. Seven year warranty on labor also good. Only concern was price beyond 1,000 sq ft. deal through Angie's List. 1,000 sq ft $3,399 or $3.39 per sq ft. 50 sq ft. = $400 0r $8.00 per sq ft.

Our new roof looks great and we were very happy with the service provided by MNT. Mike took care of the permit and we just had to sit and be patience until they did their job. The crew of workers Mike has are great guys and work very hard. Clean up is a lot of work but they did a great job but there is some left for you to do. If I had thought about the attic I would of put tarps down so that would be the only thing I would recommend. It gets a little messy with all the hammering being done on the roof. Also the garage.

Mike returned my phone call in a timely manner and set up an appointment for an estimate. He arrived at the agreed time. I received an email of a detailed estimate listing a complete description of the work to be completed, all conditions and price. We agreed on a date. The day of the service he arrived on time along with 2 of his workers. He instructed them of the details of the job and they began. I was quite nervous since I had a very bad experience with a previous contractor. I had received other estimates for this work but after speaking with Mike it was apparent that he is very knowledgeable regarding his field and that he would do an excellent job. Mike is very professional and personable. His pricing is fair. The work performed was perfect. It could not have gone better. The 2 workers were also very professional. They treated my home and property as if it was their own. They thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely use MNT Roofing and Siding in the future and would highly recommend him. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

From the beginning, dealing with Mike Tarsia was a pleasure. Not only was he responsive and friendly, he went above and beyond for this job. Because our house was in a historical district, special permits were needed and the process was NOT easy. Mike had to go to the district's office at least 7 times in order for us to proceed with this job - which he did at NO cost to us. He always replied to my phone calls/emails in a timely manner and provided everything we asked for. The job was done as promised and we couldn't be happier with the results. I would recommend Mike to anyone.

Price was very good though not the lowest. I chose MNT because of Mike's professionalism and attention to detail. His written quote was very thorough and left little doubt about the work that would be performed. I felt confident there would be no surprises and there weren't. They arrived within 2 weeks of placing the order and finished the job in 1 day as predicted.

When Michael came down from my roof and filled me in on what the situation was and what he'd done, I was super impressed by his obvious knowledge, skill, professionalism and honesty. My current roof has some mileage left, though it is old enough that replacing it would not totally be premature. The pipe boot he patched, as well as the other one, could be replaced to avoid more problems down the road. I had been going crazy because entire sections of my gutters had fallen, and my back porch had completely iced-over during the past Winter's precipitation with freezing. Soon after our appointment, Michael e-mailed me the photos he'd taken atop my roof as well as his proposals for installing an additional layer over my existing roof... or removing the existing roof and replacing it. There is his proposal for redoing both pipe boots as well as a separate figure for installing gutters and leaders and all fascia board for gutters. I'm thinking my gutter problem resulted from insufficient fascia board. Well, I've considered Michael's proposals for some months now: long enough! Now that it is Fall, I am going to ask Michael to install the new gutters and fascia board for me. I will continue to wait for the total roof but there is no way we can face another Winter with our current lack of gutters; that and some other issues need to to be prioritized above brand new roof.

I had a new 30 year timberline roof installed in 2002 which was done completely wrong, the first year shingles started to fall and continued to fall until I couldn't keep having repairs made. My neighbor had a new roof installed by Mike Tarsia MNT Roofing & Siding of Totowa and I was impressed with everything I saw. I got an estimate from Mike and he came with his crew as promised and did the entire job in one day, they were on time and the price was exactly as quoted. His work is guaranteed and looks excellent! Mike and his entire crew were GREAT! and I have already asked him for a quote for doing all my windows I will definitely refer him to anyone who need work on their homes...I honestly can't say enough good things about the job he did.

MNT Roofing is an excellent company. My roof was beginning to buckle and Mike from MNT came to my home the very next day to take a look at my roof. He determined what the problem was and came by the day after and fixed the problem. He also repaired other minor issues on my roof and a patched a part of the siding on my house at no extra cost. I plan to replace to my roof next year and I will definitely call MNT Roofing.

Originally I purchased the $79 roof repair and checkup, which led to more work being done on the roof. While doing the initial repair work, they took photos of what work that they did (patching and hole repair) and then took photos of what else needed to be fixed/repaired. I was shocked at what my roof looked like, so I am very thankful that I purchased the first deal. I received an estimate with the photos of the remaining issues, and booked the work to be done as soon as it was possible. After the work was done, I received more pictures of what they repaired (including some of the gutters!). I couldn't be happier and so glad that I took advantage of the deal on Angies List, if anything just to see what was going on up there, where I can never go.

Michael and his team were complete professionals; punctual, responsive, and courteous. The job might as well have been done by trusted family members. The cost was very reasonable for a two-layer roof removal and new installation. The added bonus was the new venting. We had an old roof where everything was sealed. The MNT team automatically installed cap(?) venting which is supposed to prolong the life of the roof and keep the heat from being trapped in the attic. Michael was helpful in the selection of the new shingles and he took care of the permits. The follow up after the work was a nice touch also. He's more responsive than I am with writing this review. I would definitely call them again.
