Description of Work: They never called me and my card got charged by Angie's List. Angie's List needs better controls of the vendors it employs -- if you're charging my card, you have the responsibility to ensure the service is performed! I got one e-mail inquiring about the service in which I clearly indicated that the service was never performed, and nobody ever followed up with me. Not a happy customer!

Description of Work: MNT never showed up on the scheduled date nor did they call to reschedule. It was particularly disappointing because I told them I had a roof leak that required immediate repair. However MNT did call afterwards claiming they were very busy only but only after I wrote to them on the Angies List website. They also claimed that they never received my voice message on their answering machine. How could you use a contractor that can't even attend to a scheduled meeting with a customer?

[Member Name Removed], We would like to start by apologizing for disappointing you with our services; we take full responsibility for not providing better communication with you about scheduling. From the phone conversation we originally had with you was that we would try to make it to your house to assess your leak after we finished another job in the area. Because summer is our busiest time, we were fully booked that week, but were trying to do you a favor because of your situation by agreeing to do our best to find time to come out when we were in the area. When we spoke we said we would call Fiiday to confirm a time that day. Unfortunately, it rained on the day we were scheduled to do the roof in your area, and we therefore cancelled all other appointments. Because we had not scheduled an exact time with you, we planned to wait until early the following week to schedule an exact date and time. Again, we do apologize and agree that we should have called you immediately, but we do also maintain that we never received a voicemail from you, and have gone back to look for this message. Once we did see your message from Angie's List, we contacted you immediately and offered to come out again as soon as possible. At this point, you did tell us that you had already found someone else, so unfortunately we were unable to remedy the situation any further. We do wish that we would have been given the opportunity to work with you to prove our professionalism in our services, but understand that you have chosen to use someone else and wish you the best. Thank you.

Description of Work: We purchased one of the deals for inspection+minor repairs, because we thought we had a minor roof leak. It turns out that the leak was coming from a window. The people with MNT were nice enough to put silicon caulk around the windows while they inspected the roof. We'd hesitate to use them again, however, as we did not feel confident in their assessment of our roof. Initially, they said everything was fine with the roof, but as we asked more questions and for details, "fine" turned into a need for an entirely new roof.

Description of Work: The additional $1200 was for more sq. footage and the removal and covering over of a skylight. They started Thurs.a.m. and finished on noon Fri. Sales tax is included in the total. Since the original roof was stripped to bare wood and all new underlayment was installed the price was very good.

Description of Work: MNT came and looked at my garage roof and gave me an estimate for repair which was expensive! The $49.00 I paid was for an estimate?! They should be free! The deal was $49.00 for $100.00 worth of repair! My repair cost estimate was very high. I should get a refund of $49.00 since no services were used! It would be a really unfair rip off to have to pay $49.00 for an estimate!

Hi [Member Name Removed] , We apologize that you felt our estimate was too high. We try to be as competitive as possible and would be willing to work with any bonafide bid you may have received. The $49 Angies Liist deal covers minor repairs and $100 credit towards any additional work needed. In our professional opinion your roof required major repairs/replacement. In our proposal we deducted the $100 credit from the original proposed amount. That being said, because no actual physical labor was performed, I will contact Angie's List and see if they can reimburse you.

After inspecting the roof at 10 Avon Rd, Springfield, NJ, our professional opinion at the time was that the roof did not have significant damage, therefore we did not feel major repairs were necessary. We try and save homeowners money by being fair and truthful with our assessments. If 5 other inspections suggested you need major repairs, we would be happy to reassess the scope of work and offer a competitive price
