Gail, the scheduling coordinator, was very responsive and helpful every step of the way keeping us informed about what work was going to be done next. John, our project manager, was great and made sure all the work was completed efficiently and on time. The work crews coming in and out were outstanding. They were very respectful of our home, worked nonstop until the work was finished, and did an excellent job cleaning up every day. The biggest, and only, headache we encountered was waiting for inspections from our town, which is completely out of Basic Basements' control. We are very pleased and would 100% use them again."

"Everything was great. Harry was very helpful in assisting us with our kitchen design. The kitchen cabinets are absolutely beautiful. The crown molding craftmanship was absolute artistry. The back splash installation fabulous. The installation team was very professional and courteous. We have a severely autistic son that their crew worked around his schedule to minimize the construction impact on his day. We had some additional work performed that included repairing of the drywall damaged by our son, painting of the living room, kitchen, and dining room and installation of recessed lighting in the three spaces. They even replaced our old door doors with beautiful elegant doors. We are so happy with everything. Being mindful of our home, they also consistently cleaned their workspace at the end of the day. We are so ecstatic. It feels like we are in a new home."

Did excellent work cleaned up after wards & we were very satisfied. The owner of RIJ’s was here all the time mostly overseeing his workers and picking up the correct materials (kitchen cabinets, bathroom, stone, and accessories, etc. ) needed to make it all come together. "Carlos Dominguez shows no respect to his customer. It is unprofessional - and totally unacceptable - to not answer my emails, telephone calls, text messages. He walked away from my kitchen remodeling project after my email, where I expressed unhappiness with the quality of work, expecting more from someone who has 95% five-star rating. In three and a half days of work there were multiple mistakes in plumbing: including selecting the wrong PVC fittings, not installing the roof vent flashing properly, and drilling oversized holes in the studs violating the building code. Similarly - ignoring the manufacturer's installation manual - he shows up with the wrong duct size for the kitchen exhaust. It must be embarrassing to face criticism from a homeowner, who seems to know more, or care more about things getting done right. His answer: sending a check back without any word, claiming full credit for unfinished, uninspected work. No discussion. Is client satisfaction is the number one goal?"

"Mike and team did an amazing job on a few projects in our home: 1) addition upgrade - replacing floor with tile, adding in builtins for storage 2) kitchen upgrade - replacing floor with tile, replacing counters and sink 3) powder room Reno (floors, new vanity) and 4) master bathroom - replacing floors with tile, replacing bathroom vanity top with new quartz top.
