Description of Work: Certapro Toms River, NJ accepted signed contract and THEY scheduled the work days but did not honor their commitments. Never called ahead to confirm as they promised or to reschedule. I don't have patience for contractors that do not treat the clients with dignity and respect. Also they weren't good at returning phone calls or emails messages. Only when I questioned if they wanted the job or had time to do it they called me. I was promised by the franchise owner that they would honor their commitment. I took gutters and lights off the house to ready it for them and was left with an unpainted house w/ no gutters or lights. The address on their business forms is only a UPS mail store. Their card says Suite 151 not Box 151 which in actuality it is very misleading. When they didn't show up I went there to talk to them in person. Had I known they were not local I probably would not have hired them to begin with.

IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Description of Work: I would not recommend this company at all to anyone not even my worst enemy. They are a fraudulent company. Hands out proposals (for $800.00) & then I accept the proposal & then they cancel & they say they can't perform the work. After they painted 6 swatches on 3 different walls in my house. I then had to hire someone to remove the swatches. Horrible, horrible company!!!! DO NOT USE!!!!!!

Actually the amount proposed for this project was - $8302.60. We prepared our proposal based on an agreed scope of work. The consumer kept adding more items to the scope and expecting the same proposal amount. We tried our best to develop a working relationship with Mrs. [removed member name]. Once her husband was involved it became even more difficult. He was verbally abusive to our color consultant, using vulgar language and talking down to her. We tried our very best to work with the [removed member name] even giving them a free interior design color consulting service. This service is not normally provided until the work is booked into our schedule. In our effort to work with the [removed member name] we provided this service free. We could only endure so much being talked down to and verbal abuse by Mr. [removed member name]. We felt it was just better not perform any work at all since they were unhappy with everything we offered. To treat us so poorly like the [removed member name] did before we even did any work. For Mrs. [removed member name]to even write the things she did without us even performing any work only validated the decision we made to pass on this project.
