Once they received permits from town things went very quickly. Tom and his crew were professional, knowledgeable and had a tremendous work ethic. Worked thru a couple of drizzly days and finished deck within a week. Clean up was excellent. Would definitely hire again.

From start to finish, this is how a project should go. Ryan, the sales person, arrived on time and discussed what we wanted, our options and promised to get back with a quote, which he did with an email a few hours later. This in and of itself was impressive because only about 50% of contractors actually keep their appointments for estimates. Communication was outstanding! They called the day before the installation day with an approximate time, and on that day they called about 1/2 hour before arrival. Frank and his crew confirmed the details and began the job. The finished product was excellent in my opinion, and more importantly, my wife loved it. As I said in the beginning, this is how every project SHOULD go.

Work went great. Mike accommodated a last minute adjustment to add a second gate. Team also had to install 2 additional panels (original delivery was short these 2 panels). Original fence delivery was installed in roughly 6 hours. They installed a temporary workable second fence until I got the new one and put in a temporary barrier for the 2 missing panels. Took a couple weeks later to get/install the second fence and 2 additional panels... I didn't know Carl's actually makes their own fences until after the original delivery was installed so completely understand the delay. Very professional company. I'd definitely use these guys again.

went well except for the fact i had to get a home survery done with cost me an extra $750. It seem like they do business together.

Beautifully! They arrived on time and did a wonderful job! Very friendly, neat and even asked my neighbor if all was okay. They went above and beyond what I expected. I am extremely satisfied and LOVE my new fence!

After setting up an appointment the salesperson called the day before the appointment to cancel due to illness. we rescheduled for two days later and he never showed up. i called the office and left a message for him to call me back but he never returned the call. Very unprofessional.

Their project manager came out on a Sunday to scope the job and confirm our decking/railing choices. Good thing he did as we made some color changes that worked out for the best. When they began tearing out the old deck they found it wasn't properly installed. They could have completed the job based on the original quote but their advice, and I concurred, was to replace the frame and footings which gave me a completely new deck and attach it to the house (which was not the case with the original deck). I now have a very attractive deck that will last for many years to come. My wife and I are extremely pleased with Carl's professionalism and quality of work. Their workers were respectful of my property and did a great job.

Went very well. They had a large selection of decking and railing choices. Everything was spelled out in an easy to understand contract. The work was completed in a couple of days. The team was neat and very respectful of my property. My wife and I are completely satisfied.

The men who did the work were very pleasant and did a beautiful job. They showed up on time each day and worked hard in the heat of early summer.Carl's was very responsive when we called a few months later to have them repair 2 minor flaws. They came quickly and performed the repairs to our satisfaction. We're very happy with the workmanship and appearance of our deck.

I dealt with a salesman named Ken who was great. Overall, the installers were very prompt and on time. They also did a great job.

Overall I would use them again, but with several asterisks. Both fences are good quality, and gates are good quality with good child safety on pool. Ken the rep that gave the estimate was great. He took time to discuss and help me with options. Not a rush job. Gave good estimate and pricing considering the amount of fencing. This was a two part project, pool fencing first then perimeter fence two months later. The pool fence was installed with gate back ordered (with out me knowing). Short version, it took over 2 months to get the gate. A litany of communication errors, missed appointments, and not returned phone calls and emails.. Carl's dropped the ball on this one big time. However eventually it was taken care of, with certain extra things done that we agreed upon. They were good at making it right, it just took way too long and the communication from their scheduling dept as horrible. The perimeter fence on the other hand went beautifully. The workers were great, understanding exactly what I was asking for. Good cleanup, and attention to detail. Looks great. Only issue is the hardware is the wrong color (I asked for white, and everything is black). Still wating for a response on this . Would use them again, but definitely not a must.

Randy and Quarren (hope I spelled that right) did a great job. They were punctual, polite did a great job and cleaned up when they were done. This company has their act together. The estimate I received was done very professionally. They were on time, emailed me the estimate with no pressure what so ever. I highly recommend them.

Their contractor Jeff showed up on time and walked us thru the various fences. He was very thorough and efficient. Answered all our questions and worked with us to design where the fencing would enhance the yard. On installation day, since this was a small job, it took a little longer than anticipated. The team arrived on time and were very professional. I was concerned as they were using cement to shore up the posts and after all the rains we had over the passed week was a tad worried the posts wouldn't stand. They answered any and all questions I had and did not mind me coming out every so often to ensure all was going as planned. The finished job looks fantastic and I am very happy and satisfied with their work. Definitely know their business and ensures all work is done and the area is cleaned up afterwards. They even raked out the extra dirt into our gardens and made everything look fantastic!

Excellent job, prompt response and fair estimate. Workers on time and did a great job. The post job cleanup was also great, all refuse was taken away. They even took a hose and stiff broom to clean the driveway from mud prints after they were done.

7 years ago they had installed a gate to go around my property. They were very professional and i liked their service. Within a year after they installed it, one of the post began to life and they returned as promised to honor their warrantee. After that, I called them back to build my deck and they did a fantastic job!

I initially sent an email request for an estimate from Carl's website. I got a quick response from their office scheduling an appointment. Then I got a call from Mike McDonough, the project consultant. Mike confirmed the date and time that he would come out to look at the property, discuss the type of fence we wanted, and give us an estimate. He arrived on time and was very polite. He measured the yard and we picked out the type of fencing that we wanted installed. He emailed me a quote the next morning. Of the three quotes that I received, Carl's was in the middle price wise. However, the type of wood was a better quality. Carl's crew came out on the date selected. They were extremely polite and professional. The crew did not even take a break. The guys did a great job. The fence looks awesome. We are very happy with the type of fence that we picked and the final result. There were a few pickets that were slightly damaged. I emailed the office and they sent a crew back out to replace them. We were extremely happy with Mike's professionalism and his help in selecting the right type of fence for us. Mike was very helpful and answered all of our questions by email or phone. We will absolutely be calling Carl's again for the next project at our house.
