+ -1 moreThey did a good job, their pricing was very competitive and they were right on time, they came when they had to come, they did some extra but did not charge me for it, and they put the fence in and I had no problems with the location, they are very knowledgeable and the clean up was excellent, there was no debris left after their work, and they walked me though the project to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. They also do other works, so I was considering hiring them again in the future for my roofing. My neighbor saw my fence and they going to hire Carl again for their fence as well.
Description of Work: Installation of a 6ft high vinyl fence and installed 1 entry gate, and 8 foot double wide gate.

+ -1 moreWe had our roof replaced in June. Carl's did an excellent job and the roof looks great! The workers were all great and they cleaned up the job perfect. Eric, the overseeing person at the job daily, was so knowledgeable. It was comforting knowing someone like him was there for the two days to visually overlook the job and inform us of what was going on. Our sales person, Will, was great as well. There were many calls and text that went back and forth before we decided to move forward and he answered all our questions. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: When I called the woman told me that there would be a $99 charge to come look at it and tell me what’s wrong. I explained to her that we had purchased this fence from Carl’s fencing for $20,000 a little over 3yrs ago and she said that my warranty is only good for two years and you signed the contract. She also went as far as to insinuate that the fence just doesn’t break something had to have happened to it. I told her that it only comes off when it is very windy out. They state that they stand behind there products, and take pride in their customer service as well as being the leading fencing company. For a company that takes such pride in all pthis should not be treating a customer who chose your company and spent $20,000 of my hard earned money, all for it to come apart a few years later! Thank you Carl’s Fencing!!!!!!! UPDATE AS OF 06/05/2020: On 6/4/2020 a person from Carl’s fencing contacted me and he said his name was Bill. I thought he was calling about the appointment that was already set for the 17th of June. Wrong!!! This Bill character, what ever his position is in the company. Started telling me that he was calling about the review I left about the company and why did I leave that? So I tried to tell him but he kept talking over me Rude!! Then he is berating me over the cost of the fence that we only paid $13,000 not $20,000, what does that have to do with the repair of the fence? He said whether a customer spends $1,000 or $20,000 we treat everyone equally!! Really so then your rude, poor customer service, liars, and you Harass clients of Angie’s List that leave your company with less than a stellar review!!! So I informed Bill from Carl’s Fencing and Decking that we would no longer require there services, and take my business to another company that is customer oriented, Honest and cares!!! WARNING

+ -1 moreThe job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! The premises was cleaned up everyday when they left and all work was done in a very professional manner. I recommend Carl’s Decking very highly.

I was going to further inquire about a fence installation but after he spat his email address at me over the phone, I decided not to go with this company. Not impressed with their customer service which is too bad because I generally thought their fence work looked nice when I’ve seen it around town.
Description of Work: I contacted Carl’s to inquire about purchasing lattice for a porch restoration. I had hoped they could help me locate a certain product and was hoping to purchase through them.

+ -1 moreGreat experience, TWICE. Had a huge tree fall and crushed a big piece of my fence. I checked a few places, but none of them were responsive, where Carl was at my house that day. These rest of the repair went the same way. At my home on time, great communication, Then another storm hit my property, this time crushing two big sections of fencing. I called Carl's again and they repeated that same great experience. While I would use them again, hopefully, I will have no more fallen trees this summer
