Description of Work: The techician snaked a clogged toilet. He was professional and friendly. We had called two other companies previously. They were the first able to give us an appointment time on a Saturday morning. They were expensive but fixed the problem.

Description of Work: Repaired sump pump apparatus and installed new float. Hank was very knowledgeable and informed us of many ways to prevent future problems.

Description of Work: I didn't realize how expensive the house call would be. I would have chosen a smaller provider since the job I needed done was very small.

Description of Work: cleared a drain in the kitchen. They did a good job but the asking price was a little high. The Angie's list coupon made the net price competitive.

Description of Work: They were able to partially resolve the problem. Unfortunately, they told us our sink was foreign made and they could not easily get parts for it. We needed to get the mechanical drain stopper replaced and reopened since it was stuck. They did pull out the drain stop so we could use the sink again and the did tell us our options: where to possibly find the part, and they would come back to install, but new charges of course...or get a new sink.

Description of Work: The technician showed up on time, checked all toilets in the house and diagnosed the problem with the clogged toilet in the master bath. He cleared the drain, cleaned up and was on his way in no time.

Description of Work: They cleaned out the main drain in our home and also advised us how to maintain all the drains in our home so we can avoid clugging.

Description of Work: I have no problem calling in RR for plumbing until now. They have gone over my budget. To fix the problem he had to shut off water to the toilet but that was frozen,so was the shut off in the house, he had to do it at the street level. Since I wasn't home, hubby didn't want to add to the bill on changing out these frozen turn-off valves. Service felt bad charging me the price for a $15 item. He should have said to fix the off valve for the house. Now I will have to find someone to get this done. Other than this, I find All Rotor-router service very good. not the price.

Description of Work: had an appointment fir service on 4/11/14 from 9a-12n. At 12n I called because no one came, was told tech was sent and he should be there. At 12:30p I called again and receptionist could not tell me where the tech was. I cancelled at that time. VERY POOR customer service!

Description of Work: Drain in bathroom tub and toilet backing up.......turns out the outside main was clogged with tree roots.......the man from Roter Rooter explained everything to me, told me what he was going to do and then cleared the roots out of the line, then he went back and checked every drain in the whole house and snaked them out to make sure everything was clear.......he was very pleasant and patient with me as I had 100 questions, told me ahead of time what the cost would be and did not seem annoyed when I asked him if he would mind if I watched him taking the roots out. I have used them before and would definitely use them again.......they seem to be a little less expensive than some other plumbers I have used in the past and are always so polite......Roto Rooter will be the first ones I call in the future......they give you quick service any seem to know their business........I am very satisfied with them

Description of Work: I saw a large puddle of water in my bathroom at about 10:00am this morning I called Roto Rooter and was told that someone would be coming to my home between 1 and 5. I had also called another company where I left a message When the second company called me back, I apologized and told them I had to have a commitment in a hurry, and could not use them. I got another call from Roto Rooter at about 3:00v pm to say that they would be here closed to 5. At about 4:00 They called to tell me they would not be able to send a plumber until Monday. I have a tenant, and it is paredicted to go below 35 degrees tonight, and I have water leaking in at least three places in my house I was home all day waiting for a plumber who was promised to arrive in the afternoon, and then was told that they somehow were mistaken. Who could possibly advertise themselves as emergency plumbers and conduct business this way? I was sent scrambling at 5:00 pm on Saturday between Christmas and New Year's Eve by an incompetant company. I am furious. How do you tell someone to expect an emergency service and then just say 'sorry'. This is unprofessional and unacceptable

Description of Work: I called the company Brentwood long island office and Bill came by in an hour. We had a leaking pipe in the boiler. He accessed the condition of the pipe, replace the pipe and added a shut off valve. Bill was very professional & informative. One the repair was done he explained what he did and he cleaned up the area.
