They are very good. They are very reliable in every sense. I like that they put on little socks on their shoes so they don't leave a mess.

Very professional every step of the way. that includes removal and dispossal of old unit, new installation and cleanup. their prices may be higher than most but they use top of the line equipment and the service is equal to it,

So I took advantage of the $129 Angie's list special for cleaning a clogged main drain. Their tech came and said he would have to remove a toilet to do this and that they charge an additional $350 (20 minutes work he said). I had someone else remove the toilet and the tech proceded to snake the drain. He thought he had it cleared and left. A few days later my plumber said the drain was still clogged, so I called them. They wanted another $99 to come back. When I complained, they agreed to come back without charge "one more time". The second visit seems to have unclogged the main drain, but the tub drain (in the same room as the main drain snake job) was still clogged. So I had to pay another $105 for a 10 minute snaking of that drain. I should add that this is a vacant house that I'm restoring - no one lives there. It gets better! They offered a free video scoping of the sewer line and did so (separate day/crew). They tell me the cast iron main sewer line is corroded and they'll replace it for $7000, "discounted" from a $10,000 list price!

They were right on time, did the job very neatly. Any time I had any issues, they came back to make adjustments right on time. I was very pleased and they did an excellent job.

I have used them before and they have always been on time. They come in on their estimate in terms of costs. They are reliable. They cleaned up and were able to complete the job on time within the budget. They provided a good explanation on what the issue was.

I don't usually do these reviews but we used AJ Perri last summer and they were absolutely horrible. While our AC unit was old, it was in working condition until they serviced it. Being that it was so old, they should have told us at the point it's better to just not fix it if there's nothing wrong with other than not being as efficient as a new unit. We thought we were doing something good but after they serviced it, we had problems with it for a month. They did try to make it right by coming and loading it up with Freon however at that point the unit was done. We then even gave them the benefit of maybe it just being an old unit so we let them give us an estimate on a new system as we thought they were a trusted company. Our heating system/furnace was old too so we had them give us a quote to replace the AC unit, furnace, and fan unit as well as staying with oil heat and they quoted us at over $15,000. We ended up getting an estimate elsewhere as we thought that was a bit high, and the other company installed a new AC unit, converted our furnace from oil to gas(not even mentioned as an idea from AJ Perri) and removed the old oil tank for roughly $8,000, almost half the price of AJ Perri. Just beware and get estimates elsewhere to make sure you're not overpaying. I will mention that most of the servicemen we dealt with were professional and courteous however it was a select few as well as management that were not as willing to make things right.

We called AJ Perri. They responded very professionally and quickly. We wanted the work to be done immediately over a weekend. They did not charge a weekend service charge. The guy called before coming and came on time. He was very professinal. He did complete assement of plumbing from the sink to main line and gave great guidance in various aspects of plumbing in the property. He then ran the snake, unclogged the sink drain. The only reason for B ratings that we feel that he had already open the trap to remove the clog. The charges to replace the trap should be only for the material.

However, I get the feeling that they are always looking to upsell during their normal maintenance calls. In addition, based on other providers, they are on the high end of cost. However, I would recommend them and will continue to use them

The service call to the next evenings sales pitch was unpleasant. The salesman arrived on time and the sales pitch began. He wanted to be shown the area around our furnace and was quick to point out how deficient some of the previous work we had done was. He kept emphasizing how this was the best time to purchase a new HVAC system because they have work crews sitting around doing nothing. This is why he could give us the best possible price. The sales pitch was endless. And the strong arm tactic unprofessional in our opinion. We had to agree to the price of the system to the tune of 12,000-13,000 at that moment and agree to a next day install, to keep the crews working, or lose this" fabulous" deal. He said, once he leaves our home, the deal is off. He's not coming back and A.J. Perri basically does not want our business. My husband and I agreed that we did want to make a purchase of this magnitude under such pressure. We explained to the salesman that we wanted to get other opinions about the problem with our HVAC system and to get other estimates for a new system should that be necessary. He had a mocking tone- as though we were a couple of fools for letting this deal go by. He again made one last effort to bolster his company and product as the best there is and we will never get this kind of a deal from anyone else. We did have another company come out to check our system and a correct diagnosis was made of needing a new gas valve. The part was replaced for under $300. and our system is working well again. We did not need to replace the 1200 blower! We believe that AJ Perri's business practice is questionable at best. We felt that there was a deliberate misdiagnosis made to encourage us to agree to meet with a sales person. We will never use or recommend AJ Perri for any of their services due to this experience.

AJ Perri was definitely not the cheapest company, but they were the most professional and had the best product (in our opinion). They also installed it FAST (the next day) which was awesome since it was the dead of winter. Sears was going to take a week. They told us they don't subcontract the work so they know exactly who is in your house and what their qualifications are. They also require all installers to speak only English so it doesn't make you feel uncomfortable if you don't speak their language, and they are not allowed to swear. We definitely would use AJ Perri again and we recommend them to our friends and family.

It went very good. Price was good. He always called back, they had good communication. The people were professional and reliable.

Solved problem of overflowing toilet. Seems pricey but they provide prompt response and have the equipment and crew to get the job done and quickly.

I have used them several times and I am very satisfied with their service. They are prompt, knowledgeable and professional.

This is the second time I hired Gilson. The first was a conversion from oil heat to natural gas heat. The repeat hiring says it all!!! They are professional, extremely knowledgable, do the highest quality workmanship, thorough, excellent customer communication, and above all, should be recommended for sainthood when patiently working with a very difficult (notorious) zoning board. A representative of the company was present at all inspections, often waiting in their truck for hours until the inspector arrived. They are the BEST!

HE CAME THE SAME DAY WE CALLED AND WAS ON TIME. VERY POLITE AND GAVE US THE PRICE BEFORE HE DID THE JOB. THEY DO NOT CHARGE BY THE HOUR.HE WAS VERY NEAT AND CLEANED UP BEFORE HE LEFT.

I used them because a lot of people in the area have used them. The price was pretty much inline. The specific engineer was pretty good.

They were very good and would hire them again.

I have been using their services for about ten months. They are reliable. They accommodate my schedule and get technicians out to my tenants quickly. They communicate with me over the phone so I do not have to be present for the actual appointment. Their work seems to be very good.

First call was in January for heater repair. As a new customer, on the coldest day of the year, I didn't expect them to come quickly. They came right away, and were very professional, and even wore boot covers so they wouldn't track dirt into the house. They made the repair, and offered to apply the cost of the repair to a furnace replacement in the future - as I explained the unit was 24 years old and not maintained at all. Prior to my appointment with the salesperson, the heater died again - they came out within a two hour window and even made a second repair on another part - AT NO CHARGE. They applied the cost of the initial repair towards the replacement and offered another discount and 0% financing for 18 months. The day I scheduled the HVAC replacement, they arrived on time, were finished hours before I thought they'd be done, and showed me how to do basic maintenance on the heater and AC. They left the utility closet clean and removed the old units. On a side note, my old water heater died a day or two later, and I asked them to come out again - and suggested maybe they cut something while installing the furnace. They came out, re-lit the pilot light AT NO CHARGE to me - I will absolutely recommend them again and again - they stand behind their work, and provide excellent customer service. Even single employee I had contact with was professional and friendly.

It worked perfectly. Very reliable company and fast response. I have a paraplejic brother so do not want to worry when something goes wrong. I just need it fixed so I don't have to disrupt his life. Love this company.

Purchased deal on Angie's List for $129 for drain cleaning. Very responsive, arrived on time and performed service quickly and professionally. Very pleased and will use AJ Perri in the future.

The service was awful. I had trouble setting up the appointment, and then when they sent someone out, they send someone without the camera inspection, they sent a plumber, and then they said they would send someone else for the camera. I had specifically asked for the camera inspection when I set up an appointment, and they apologized, and said they would set another appointment. Their days couldn't work for me, and they said that they would get someone out on the day I wanted. So we set it up,and 5 minutes before the time, a lady called and said no one would come because they had a meeting. That was a lie, because they did initially tell me that they had meetings that day, but they would still send someone out. It was awful right from the start, and it took me a while getting my money back. They didn't even schedule once I bought the deal, I had to follow them for it.

Very well... Came when they said they would and took care of the issue nicely.

Overall, a good experience. Pros - drain now working well, technician was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and dangers of snaking old pipes, made suggestions for keeping the line clear with an enzymatic drain cleaner, price (via a 'deal') was good, although it would have been more without the deal. Cons - although the deal called for camera inspection to be included, technician would not do it.
