Description of Work: The technician was very thorough with his evaluation of our air conditioning units. We have used AJ Perri for this service for several years and this was, by far, the most complete exam ever. We have older units so we did replace several components but were extremely pleased with their professionalism, knowledge and work ethic.

Description of Work: AJ Perri installed a new central air system for my condo ( compressor and coil) after multiple failures on my previous unit. This company sets the standard for other HVAC contractors. Their call center is courteous , responsive, and available 24 x 7. The sales person was a delight to work with. The install team exemplified professionalism, explained what they did along the way, performed a great install, and even corrected problems from previous contractors. Their processes are clearly well thought out and based on best practices in the industry. AJ Perri meets their commitments and cares about their customers. They are there when you need them. The guaranty on the new system cannot be beat (10 years p/l)..Maybe not the cheapest but in my opinion the best value.

Description of Work: We have used A.J. Perri for our boiler and air conditioning maintenance and they also have done plumbing work for us so we felt very comfortable in using them to replace our boiler. They were quick to come out when we noticed there was a problem and then came out that night to go over our options when we were deciding to replace the unit. They replaced the unit in the time frame we were given and when we noticed some of the work wasn't completed they came out right away to rectify the problem. In the end we were happy with the work and we will continue to use their other services.

Description of Work: Over the past few months, I have had A J Perri do two (2) jobs for me, one was a plumbing job and one was an HVAC job. | |1) The plumbing job involved replacing a water valve that controlled the volume and pressure of the water in my home ( a townhouse ). The replace-ment work was fine. What was not at all acceptable was the resetting of the water volume and pressure for the showers and sinks and other points. The guidelines that the plumber used for resetting the volume and pressure supposedly were set by the Federal government over the past few years. These guidelines resulted in a "raintree" shower and a much slower water |flow than what I had been given by the builder originally. I found this completely unacceptable and the plumber told me he would not go against Federal rules. I tried explaining to this person that I had had better volume and pressure for 28 years with absolutely no problem. He refused to listen and I just let him go. I wrote a letter to the presidenty of A J Perri and voiced my complaints as well as concerns as to the quality of plumbing services in general. The president had a second plumber visit me and reset the new water valve the way I wanted it. This process took two weeks. | |2) The second job had to do with a recently installed new HVAC and air compressor. I was concerned about the performanceof this equipment when I noticed that the air was not coming out of the floor vents on the second floor. I requested an inspection and a close analysis of the performance of the entire unit. The result was that there was one defective part in the unit and it needed replacement. The technician called for the appro-priate part and waited a bit over one hour for the part to be delivered. The wrong part was delivered and more time had to be spent by the techni-cian to wait for a second delivery.I find fault with the manufacturer of the HVAC unit but I also find fault with the testing of the unit once A J Perri completes their installation. |

Description of Work: Needed to install a new water line due to pipe rupture

Description of Work: Replacement of 10 yr old A/C unit. did a great job, price was high, but was able to use 0% finance and spread it out over a year. Looking to replace other unit. went with local A/C independent supplier. cost a lot less, still get warranty.
