Description of Work: I had been using AJ Perri for maintenance of my air conditioning and furnace. After last summer I knew my 16 year old air conditioner needed to be replaced and decided to purchase a new air conditioner through them as they promised high quality installation and service. It took them 3 service calls to install the air conditioner correctly and after only 2 months of using it this summer, it needed a new computer board. They have been very prompt in responding but part of the reason I purchased the air conditioner was that they promised excellent workmanship which did not meet up to my expectations. They tend to be high priced which I don't mind paying if the installation and workmanship was superior.

Description of Work: Maintenance work. But they identified questionable required repairs that I passed and later looked up online and realizing they were not accurate assessment. Every year, the maintenance procedure looks different and that makes me question. I signed on for another year because at the time I had no clue. I was told that my both of my air compressors were on the verge of failure and need to get it replaced. The part costs $15, but they charge $350 each to replace one. My thought on this is that I pay $120 per AC and $240 for 2 units every year, you would think they can pop that in for $50 since part of their maintenance is to check it anyway. Anyway, you may find their pricing reasonable, I am just giving you the info and rating it as I see fit. I have used them for four years and had them installed a gas furnace for me. Other than the annoying unreasonable charges and inconsistent maintenance practice, they are ok.

Description of Work: "new guy" broke furnace during routine check up. He denied. Supervisor came out and said guy crossed wires he shouldn't have touched. Took 9 hours and two visits to fix. Cancelled service plan after this. No one from Company ever followed up.

Description of Work: Replaced two central air units and one heater. Heater was in the attic... Need I say more? We currently use their annual maintenance. Wonderfully punctual, personable and professional.

Description of Work: They fixed an extremely difficult clogged drain. The job was done in a timely and professional manner. We even got a discount!

Description of Work: Have a service contract with them for AC/HEAT system. They do regular maintenance checks every year. Plumbing services seem to be more expensive than competition; however, always done promptly and by pleasant technicians.

Description of Work: I had AJ Perri in during Fall 2013 to do an "annual maintenance" on my forced air heating as it was the first time since I bought system over 5 years prior. When done, they talked to me about the Blue Guardian plan and figured I knew I needed them (or someone) to look at my A/C in spring, so I signed up b/c it would end up being about same price. Also, if I changed my mind, they said I could call and cancel for full refund. They came this past May (2014) to look at both of my A/C units. The tech was very professional. He seemed to do a thorough check of everything. I knew I had some problem with one of my units and sure enough, he came in after a while and said a part on one of my units needed to be replaced. Though, he said that was not what was causing the issue, we talked about what could happen if I did not replace. I am more conservative, so I went with the replacement. Not sure if price of part was great, but not terrible. If I had someone else come, I would have to pay for the part plus labor anyways so it probably all balances out in the end. Also, as part of the plan, they add up to 2 lbs of coolant. Both units were low so he topped them off. He identified some loose fittings and thus why there was likely some leakage of the coolant (of course he tightened whatever was loose). I think at the end of the day, it really comes down to the tech you get to come. I know others in my family have not had as good an experience, but mine was fine and I will continue to use them.

Description of Work: Central air for the upper two levels of my home and a mini-split system in the basement. The workmen were very professional and courteous and showed up EVERY morning promptly at 7:30 AM.

Description of Work: Replaced toilet flush system. Went well. However the price seemed to me to be excessive. I have been with them since 2006 for AC and Heating also had water heater replaced. They have been regularly maintaining these systems annually. The first time I used their plumbing service May 22 2014, found prices excessive. But overall good, polite and punctual.
