Description of Work: The hot water faucet in one of the up stair's bathrooms was frozen. The |worker used a blow torch on a pipe under the vanity. He also had us turn |on every hot water faucet in our house. It worked. We've dealt with Perri |for years. Their work is professional and impeccable, and we have always been completely satisfied with whatever they did. But, remember, bargain prices do not accompany perfection. We want peace of mind, so we call them.

Description of Work: AJ Perri did a great job in installing a new gas furnace in my basement; replacing one that was well over 40 years old. Being that my house is older, they arranged for a contractor to remove the asbestos from the immediate area in advance. I was very concerned about this expense and the precautions they would have to take. But AJ Perri worked it into the overall price and the appointed contractor left the area clean. | Not only was everything done very professionally, but AJ Perri's approach and attitude was very accommodating. They were also very knowledgeable, punctual and always accessible night or day. The sales who sold me the furnace worked out good finance arrangements for me. | In addition, the first five years of service is part of the contract. I highly recommend AJ Perri for its professionalism, outstanding service and follow up. |

Description of Work: Replace under sink water filter. There was some difficulty fitting the new filter to the old space but they did a good job.

Description of Work: I have used AJ Perri for all of my heating/AC and plumbing needs since I became a homeowner in 2007. They are top notch - in fact, I am also a "contract customer," which means that after they installed my brand new heating/AC system I also signed up for them to maintain it twice a year. You will pay more for their products/services than their competitors charge but you get what you pay for - as we've all learned the hard way. If you want the best then hire AJ Perri.

Description of Work: The scheduling service was on the ball and the tech arrived on time, was very professional and polite and cleared a drain for us very quickly. He also asked to check the drainage system and pointed out, without a hard sell, several things I have neglected to do but should. He left a detailed proposal and contact information. All-in-all a great experience.

Description of Work: AJ Perri is a remarkable company. Serving as large an area and as many customers as they do, they always impress us with their ability to respond immediately, do every job thoroughly and professionally, and follow up however is needed. They're not inexpensive, but it would be hard to imagine anyone who provided better value than AJ Perri.

Description of Work: They did a good job, were professional and responsive. However, they were supposed to give me a certificate approved by the township and I still have not received it. I am now about to sell my house, and this will hold up sale.

Description of Work: I had a furnace/AC maintenance contract with them. When they came to do the fall maintenance service, the technician claimed that my furnace was leaking carbon monoxide gas out into the air. He said that it was above acceptable limits and that they would be required by code to shut off the furnace. Knowing this company and (how they worked) I immediately informed the technician that I have someone I know who can install a furnace..I wanted to make sure he didn't coerce me into talking with one his company's salesman. After this happened he told me he needed to check the CO concentration in the air ducts. If the air duct CO concentration was zero, the furnace was safe to use. Needless to say, it was as I watched the meter as he checked them. My furnace is old and nearing time for replacement, but this company is very aggressive in trying to force their customers into spending extra money in buying new equipment. I also got an estimate from another contractor who told me some carbon monoxide is normal inside the furnace unit, and as long as there is no CO in the air ducts there is no danger.

Description of Work: Annual furnace service. Although they are supposed to change the filter, the serviceman determined that the filter was clean and I did not have to change it. A few days later I got a message that the filter needs to be changed. I put a new filter in and every week I get the same message about changing it. I do not think the computer was updated at the time of service and I keep getting a false messages.
