Description of Work: AJ Perri replaced my HVAC system ten+ years ago, and I have had a twice-yearly maintenance plan with them ever since. They are way better than a previous provider which I had used. The only reasons that I am rating them less than "A" is that I had an equipment failure (AC condensor) right after the warranty period expired, though this was probably a manufacturer's problem (Carrier) rather than Perri's. I also believe their prices may be on the high end; they are quite proficient at identifying problems that you "may" wish to address for a significant added cost. They are punctual but they give you what I consider to be big time windows (simply morning or afternoon), although they do call when the rep is actually underway.

Description of Work: My circulator pump was screaching. After inspection I was told it would cost 900.00 to replace the pump. I was also prompted to replace my system because there was some rust on the inside. (Apparently he looked inside with a camera. I was never shown the inside). Anyway after asking some questions to some people I know that do odd jobs, I was told I could purchase a pump at home Depot for 165.00. I replaced the pump myself. I would never use or recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: Performed an inspection was supposed to have been a tune up - if I wanted a tune up I was looking at $600 - no good. They then suggested a sales rep assess my existing furnace - the representative arrived - very polite - but came back extremely expensive. They wanted to charge me over 6,000 just to replace a furnace....really ? Naturally they did not get the business.

Description of Work: refused to clean backed-up drain in tub/shower. claimed they do not service this area (Randolph, NJ) unless additional work was needed. VERY UNETHICAL/PROFESSIONAL. they advertise all work is done no matter where.
