Description of Work: I called and ask for someone to Check the gas line in the crawl space. The operator said it would cost $47 for someone to make the call but that they would not do any work until I was given an estimate. The man came out and looked at. Told me it was fine and that it would cost $150. I told him that I was told $47. He said that was to come out but not for going into the crawl space. This was bait and switch, pure and simple. Dishonest.

Description of Work: Wanted to repair or replace a bathroom spigot. Took forever to get an actual quote after the paid visit to assess the situation. I had to call back twice to get an answer and to be told that the amount I paid for the estimate would not reduce the replacement cost. That was a a separate cost above and in addition to the cost of the actual repair.

Description of Work: Boiler shuts down periodically and despite correcting the error stated on the computer readout, it continues to recur. After several visits, some of which I payed for and some of which I did not, it was found that there a mistake in the wiring and it seems to be working well now, but it is only a month or so. I think they're a little pricy but very reliable and want to satisfy the customer

Description of Work: Needed one airconditioner unit for our addition to our home. Tried to sell as one larger unit for the entire home - including knocking down walls, etc. just to be able to pipe one unit into the addition. Then wanted to sell us the heating system. Keep pushing for this - wasted 2 hours of our time.

Description of Work: When appointment was scheduled I was told their "fully equipped truck" would allow them to perform repairs the same day. That was not true at all. A snippy young man gave me some ridiculous quotes on three repairs.
