AJ Perri

Went well. Plumber showed up early but called ahead to make sure it was ok. Friendly and professional. Performed task and cleaned up after completing job. I felt it was a little pricey but very satisfied.

Six months after they replaced it, with a brand new one, it broke. They told us that the hot water heater was under a 1 year warrant and they wanted to charge us another $1,100, as an installation fee, to replace it. We decided to have someone else replace the second hot water heater.

Prompt, clean, courteous. All charges explained in advance. They're expensive ($820 for the toilet) but reliable and responsive. There was an installation problem, they came and fixed it no charge, at my convenience.

Great Installer Brian Thompson immediately diagnosed defect in my unit, and recommended actions which eventually lead to AJ Perri backing the product under warranty replacement; no hassle repair. This is why I stopped using a mom and pop operation. This company backs up their. work, and completed the replacement to my satisfaction. What else can you ask for.

The tech. was talkative but turned the air conditioner on before removing the weather cover, removed the air filter from the furnace and tried to sell me a new one for twice the amount that I could buy it for locally. When I refused his offer he re-assembled the filter poorly and replaced it in the furnace backward. I had to remove the jammed filter assembly, reassemble it properly and reinstall it. Since it was dirty, I went out and bought a new element and reinstalled it all properly for half of what he would have charged me. The air conditioner has been used since and appears to be working well. I have had previous techs from Perri and they performed well without trying to impress me with their knowledge. I have renewed my contract for another year.

Terrible....totally inflammatory---didn't need new system. Just an honest A/C service person. Will not do business with AJ Perri again.

There were quite a few technicians and it took about two days. They left the area pretty clean. They did diagnose a couple other problems I was having with the unit and they fixed them.

Technician was on-time, had identification, was courteous, clean (booties on his feet). He explained everything he did and what his finding were

Lousy. He didn't even try to fix the problem but instead wanted to send out the sales team, before he absolutely had to come back for any repairs. First the technician had to charge me a diagnostic fee up front. I was skeptical on that approach and called another company in which they replaced the fan motor within the hour. No need to replace my unit with a new unit close to $10k. You tell me if this is protocol or not.

Repairs were costly, but the technician was able to quickly diagnose the issue and repaired it with a few hours effort and some parts from his truck. The business was very transparent about pricing and, other than the fact that it was a freezing cold December day with no heat, there was no pressure or up sell. I would both work with AJ Perri again for this type of service and would recommend the technician that I had to anybody.

Their service was great, but on the scheduling I had trouble getting them to come on a specific date. We had to reschedule two or three times. The scheduling could have been better.

Not good, paid excessive every time.

It is a ripoff. I will tell everybody that!

They did an excellent job overall. They clearly explained the issues and offered alternatives. The installation was done on time, the work was very professional and well-done and they cleaned up thoroughly.

For a while leak stopped now several months later it's back they also said I needed a new air conditioner unit. Had another company look at it and they said it was fine no need to replace

They did a great job and I signed up for the service contract. They come out twice a year to check it out and I trust their work. We have used them for several other repairs and I am always pleased with their work.

We have used them for several years. The service is prompt and professional. I feel they always seem to find something wrong and needs to be replaced. I do not feel this is always true. I feel as do my neighbors that they are to expensive. Sometimes they try to pressure a sale. That does not work for us. When we need to replace this equipment we will have three estimates one will be AJ Perri. I think they will come in the highest.... we will see when the time comes. I put a price of $200.00 and you say invalid???? why that is it! I can't tell you anything else.

They get in the door by saying $99.00. then once they find many reasons to charge.

Back in April I had my main sewer line clog up. I called AJ Perri, I have to say only person I could get to come out on short notice. The drain guy showed up and tried to clear from an aux line by the washing machine. This attempt was unsuccessful. He advised me not to open the clean out on the basement floor, claiming that a few more inches of sewage would enter the basement. There was already an inch on the floor that backed up before I noticed the problem. So I agreed I did not want more sludge in the basement. The guy then called the sales man and he came over and quoted ~$5200 for the job. I had no idea I was paying too much at the time. I was naive, and trusted the sales man since I needed the job done quickly. To their credit the job was scheduled and finished on Monday, they came over Saturday evening when I called them. This before any other plumber called me back. So you decided was it worth paying over double (I found this out later) to fix a messy situation, I think not. To make matters worse last month we had a big rain storm here, first time the sump filled up since they installed it. The pump didn't work and my basement was flooded. I called them and they sent a guy out to fix it and he said it was installed improperly that's why it didn't work. After the fixed the pump I found my lawn flooded the next day, like a pond. I found the exhaust 6 inches from the foundation on a flat section of lawn that pitches slightly back toward the house. I call them back and this time they exhaust the sump into the street toward the storm drain. One good thing is that they come fast and do the job fast, but its not worth the shoddy work and predatory sales practices, overpaying and aggravation. Do not hire these guys unless some thing drastically changes, don't even call them.
