Description of Work: They cleaned our Summit home for about 10 years before we sold it in August of 2014 and downsized to Somerset. The owner is very involved in managing her business, makes unannounced visits when the crew is cleaning , and is VERY responsive to customer's communication.

Description of Work: They did an outstanding job cleaning during a move. I would use them again in a heartbeat! I had 4 women in their group and the appeared to have their specialized areas of what and they cleaned.

Description of Work: They cleaned our home weekly for about 10 years before we moved out of their territory. They are owner-managed and very responsive! The owner makes periodic unannounced/unscheduled inspections near the end of cleaning sessions to be sure all is up to her high standards. They usually operate with a team of three: so 3 hours of cleaning takes place in 1 hour, at the same time every week. They use all their own equipment. So easy to accommodate without disrupting the entire day. The Team Leader system they use allows for continuity from week to week.

Description of Work: Total Home has been cleaning our house twice monthly for many years. They are highly reliable, responsive to special requests and generally do a good to very good job cleaning - sometimes excellent. My wife says not to give them an A because everyone should always strive to be better, I think a B+ would be perfect. Yes, I highly recommend this company or we wouldn't still be using them after all these years.

Description of Work: Owner was very nice, but the cleaning crew was very lazy. One woman stayed at the kitchen sink for one hour, doing what ? It was very pricy. I now use one woman who is excellent, a joy to have in the house.

Three people came to do the work. They work hard. They did an excellent job, except that they had trouble understanding what I told them. Overall they did an excellent job. The only problem was communicating with them. I would advise others to be clear on phone while arranging them to do the work. They do an excellent work. I would use them in the future.

When I first began using Total Home, their work was exceptional - particularly compared with other services that I have hired. After a few months, the service began to decline and on several occasions the work that I hired Total Home to do would be only partially completed when they left my home. I made a complaint and the service improved - but only for a short time. Overall, I found the service to be very inconsistent and made my concerns known on each occasion. Again, service would improve for a single cleaning and then slip. I terminated the business relationship with Total Home recently after I returned home from work on a cleaning day to find the gas on one of the burners of my range on and the apartment filled with cooking gas. Total Home offered to comp my next cleaning, but I did not feel comfortable continuing with them after such a serious and potentially dangerous lapse.
Description of Work: Total Home has provided bi-weekly home cleaning services for my 2 bedroom apartment for approximately 1 year. During each visit, they cleaned the bathrooms and kitchen, vacuumed throughout, and dusted surfaces.

Although they appear to be very professional they send different cleaning teams on different weeks so the level of cleaning was erratic.
