 + 1 moreSteve did a great job putting down our sod. He was very responsive and patient about answering my many questions. Afterward he did my spring clean up and used a hand mower until the sod was rooted. He continues to mow our lawn and we will use his services again next season.

 + -1 morePurchased a labor package for $149.00 which included 1 man for 4 hours or 2 men for 2hours. I actually thought it should take 2 men about two hours but figured they would probably extend it an hour or two...I was very mistaken. They (2 men) arrived on time, they hustled, did a great job and finished on time! Steve (the owner) called the next day to insure I was completely satisfied. Honesty, great work ethic and follow up...excellent company!

 + 1 moreHere is a simple Do and a simple Don't. DO contact Steve at Royal Landscapes and DON'T hesitate to do so. You won't regret it.
Description of Work: My wife and I have used Steve and his company Royal Landscapes for years. We have Steve and his crew at our house every Spring and Fall too if there is any work that needs to be done at that time of year. Our experiences working with Steve have been nothing short of rewarding. One of the nicest things we can say about this company is it is overseen by the owner himself. You get to meet personally with Steve and do a thorough "walk through" of your property with him, discussing every aspect of what you expect to be done. Surprise! Surprise! Not only does the job get done the way you want it to but the price is very fair too. A couple of times Steve was able to finish the job under the quoted price and actually charged us less than we had already agreed upon. Now I ask you...when did that last happen to you when dealing with a contractor? The punctuality, fair pricing, and follow through of the job including an immaculate clean up afterward is all part of the deal. Something else I might add...I have seen Steve on countless occasions get "down n' dirty". What I mean by that is he is not above doing the work. I have never seen him ask an employee to do something that he himself would not do. That goes for the mundane and the back breaking work too that so often comes with the job. He treats his employees with respect and I have never heard him speak down to anyone. Could you ask for anything more?

This provider was responsive, trustworthy, provided the services, and listened to my parents when they had questions and concerns. They followed through on every aspect of service. I would recommend them to anyone. Having someone I can trust from a distance to do the service and do it right has been fantastic. Royal Landscaping www.royallandscapes.net is a great company, reliable, and does great work.

Steve's prices are reasonable and service is excellent. Steve and his staff are hardworking, efficient and always provide exactly what I ask for. They arrive on time and are always sure to clean up when they are finished. I use Royal annually for clean-up and mulching. I know I can depend on them for all my landscaping needs.

 + 1 moreThe quality of Steve's work can only be eclipsed by his responsiveness and customer service. When I first contacted Steve, he came out that same afternoon to give me an estimate. The work was scheduled for 2 weeks later and completed in one day. In fact, Steve was there in the dark after the sunset (at around 8:00 pm) blowing away the remaining debris and ensuring the yard looked 100% that same day following the works completion. Steve kept me apprised of the progress leading up to and during the work, including texting me pictures of the job in process. Steve's estimates are highly competitive and he is very flexible in working with the customer as the work is performed to ensure it's performed to full satisfaction. He returns to the site in the days following the job to ensure the customer is satisfied and to check on the work (to make sure all plants are taking and everything looks as expected). Steve's work is of the highest quality. His design skills are very good and he uses high quality landscaping materials. I have been extremely satisfied with Steve's work and will continue to use Royal Landscapes for my future landscaping needs (including basic services like mulching), and have and will continue to refer Royal Landscapes to family, friends, and neighbors.
Description of Work: My wife and I moved into a new home in Haddonfield, NJ last August. The landscaping had been done professionally when the house was built 7 years ago, but hadn't been well maintained. I initially contacted Steve to rebuild a path along the side of our house with river rock and slates, and mulch the beds around the property. I was so happy with Steve's work that I later contracted him for two more jobs to add river rock to border my driveway, and landscape the back of my property, and plan to use him again for several more jobs this fall and next Spring. My neighbor also hired Steve recently to perform some work on his property because he was so impressed with the work Steve performed on my yard.

I would pay more considering the fantastic job and professionalism. There aren't many home improvement companies you can rely on, but this company surpasses all!

This year he rearranged a large bed for us and planted some privacy shrubbery that is working out absolutely wonderful!! Everyone at Royal is courteous and very accommodating.  + 1 moreGreat! Steve (the owner) promptly returned our call and scheduled a time to visit and check out what needed to be done. Every step was like clock work. We had 52 shrubs, mulch, top soil and seeding to create the proper bed. All work was done as promised. It was a big job and his staff worked hard all day. Steve gave us tips on how to take care of the new shrubs in the hot weather. We are very pleased with our new side yard.

 + 2 moreWe worked with Steve and his guys over a period of several months to completely redo our front yard and backyard, and are extremely pleased with the experience as a whole. The final product looks excellent. I especially appreciate Steve's professionalism and efforts to keep in touch; whenever my partner or I would text him with a question or concern, he'd get back to us within several hours. We had one hiccup with multiple sections of grass that came from the supplier (not Steve directly) with some dead patches, but Steve made sure to replace these all, and followed up as quickly as he could. I highly recommend him.

 + 1 moreRoyal Landscapes was fantastic. Steve responded promptly to my inquiry, had a very reasonable quote, and stuck to his estimate for when the work would be completed. He and his crew were professional through the entire process, and did the work quickly and very, very well. They cleared and mulched two beds, and created a third. All the plantings were beautifully done, and the outside of our house has never looked better. They even took the time to do a small mini-bed around our street light, which was outside of the project but looked shabby. I would absolutely use them again, and plan to for all of our future yardwork.
