I was very pleased with both the responsiveness and professionalism of John and Chris at Focus HVAC (who had previously performed a furnace inspection); however, the repair did not fix the problem of insufficient hot water to my 2nd floor shower. When I initially spoke with Chris, I believed that I needed to replace the water heater and was asking for a plumber referral, but he said that Focus HVAC did that work. When I related the problem, he believed that the water heater would probably only need to be repaired. I made an appt. for 2 days later and John was here promptly. He drained ~20 gal. from my 40-gal. water heater, determined that the sensor was working properly, turned the setting back to the recommended level and tested the water temperature. Since then (4 days), there still has not been sufficient hot water to my 2nd floor shower, despite my adjusting the settings. Through an exchange of emails, John still believes that the water heater itself does not need to be replaced (less than 6 yrs.) and recommends that I have a plumber "check the fixtures to ensure that there is no problem with them."

They were great and they were wonderful to work with. The technicians were very friendly and kept me informed of the process. Two technicians came out to do the work and it took about 4 hours to complete everything. They were very convenient with my schedule and worked with me.

It went great! I knew that my furnace was on its last leg and I did not want to be stuck without heat so I talked to Chris and he scheduled an estimate for me. John came out to my house and explained the differences between the 80% and the 95% efficient furnaces and that the 95% furnace qualified for a $250 rebate. Their service, advice and price gave me no other choice but to use FOCUS! John arrived to my home bright and early with the new unit and got right to work and he was completed by the time I got home from work. The job was completed efficiently and he left my basement spotless! They even completed all of my rebate paperwork for me! Thank you John and Chris for a job WELL DONE!!

We needed a jenn-air vent re-routed through our crawlspace so we could replace our broken dishwasher.I was having trouble getting someone out since it's not a big job and everyone was busy replacing airconditioners.John from FOCUS was prompt, cheerful and courteous.He gave me a fair estimate before doing the work.He put down tarps and clean up afterward.When he saw the new dishwasher waiting in my dining room and heard that I had been washing dishes by hand for over a month, he offered to install the dishwasher.He did great work at a great price!I will definitely hire him again.
