The locksmith was able to give us an appointment on fairly short notice and worked quickly to change all of the locks to fit just 2 keys. He arrived on time, worked neatly, and actually managed to talk us out of additional work that would have lined his pockets but that he assured us we didn't need. Overall, it was an amazingly simple, straightforward experience with an honest, professional, and highly competent professional. I highly recommend!

Seth is the friendliest, most reliable locksmith you could hope for. He is always happy to do the work and his prices are extremely fair. He has made us feel very safe in our home.

TRULY OUTSTANDING! After reviewing the reports on the list, I phoned A-OK Locksmiths because they had the most reports--all A's in all categories. Now I understand why. I phoned them at 7:00 am, explained my problem, he gave me an estimate and said he could be here by 9:00. I needed the locks changed because a former housekeeper had used a key to enter and buglarize my house. Seth was prompt, courteous, and professional. He performed his work with thoroughness and precision. He rekeyed all of the locks, five (5) in all, on every entry door to the house to the same key. I am well pleased and strongly recommend him.

we live in a converted victorian house. a lot of the original details were maintained, including the doors. when we first moved in, the hardware for the locking system seemed okay. over time, it started to deteriorate. we called seth in to upgrade the locks in our individual unit. he actually spoke at length on the phone (without having booked the job) giving us advice on how to proceed with the lock upgrade/modernization. in addition, we had the main front door looked at as well. the last locksmith added a locking mechanism, but supposedly couldn't do anything for the doorknob. again, over time, the functionality waned. seth was able to replace the doorknob and now that door actually works! with all the frustrations, price was on the lower-end of our priority list. i was incredibly impressed with seth's professionalism and attention to quality. the last locksmith that we talked to couldn't have given us the time of day and was incredibly rude and unprofessional. seth was a breath of fresh air!!

Seth came out to repair a stuck exterior door lock. A previous attempt by a contractor failed. I called on wednesday and he was ablIe to come thursday morning. Seth was easily able to remove and repair the mechanism, reinstall it and thereby both fix the door and save me some money. The actual cost was much less than the over the phone estimate based upon my description of the problem because he was able to repair rather than replace the broken mechanism. I was very impressed by this. He was prompt, personable, and trustworthy. I will use him again, and tell all my friends. What a pleasant experience!

I was able to schedule an appointment a few days ahead of time for the date I wanted. Seth provided his basic prices over the phone and on the day of the appointment arrived a few minutes early. We talked through a few simple options for re-keying and also discussed a more challenging issue with an older door. Even though he is not a carpenter, he examined the door and provided some suggestions and recommended we work with a carpenter. Once we determined what work to be done, he re-keyed the locks in his truck, then completed the installation of the new locks efficiently. Note that if a door has a key on each side, there is a charge per side, which makes sense. I felt very comfortable working with Seth. He was very straightforward, patient, and family-oriented (he was proudly talking about his son's recent acceptance to college). If we need anything further done once we get our door repaired, we'll be calling A-OK.

Seth was wonderful. She showed up promptly, thoughtfully considered the work to be done, and ended up doing it all that very day. He was sensitive to our budget concerns. He is just a great guy all the way around.

I had stupidly hired one of these "emergency" locksmiths when we moved into our house and was taken the to cleaners with lousy equipment and install. Found Seth (A-OK) on Angie's list and he came over right away and cleaned up the mess the last guy has left for 1/10 of the price. Plus gave great advice on options for other locks so as not to take away from some of the old features in our house. will definetly use again.

I called Seth around 11am on a Friday and he was able to fit me in the same day at 4pm. He installed a deadbolt and switched out the locks on my front door and cut two keys for me. He cut them onsite in the back of his van. I also showed him a problem I had with my front door and he made his recommendations on how to fix it, as it was installed incorrectly. He managed to do a minor adjustment which helped and did not charge for it. Seth was very friendly and I would use him again. I also had a request that was not part of the job. He unfortunately did not have the right part on his van, but quoted me a price for him to come back. Overall, I was very pleased with his work.

Seth was amazingly responsive to a pretty critical situation... my front door would not close. He was able to diagnose it and fix it in effectively and efficiently. He was great! He answered his phone, arranged for a time and showed up and fixed it. Terrific. Totally recommend his services.

We were happy with them and we liked the fact that they were able to come very quickly. The locksmith who came out was great. He also saved us money because rather than replacing the whole unit, he repaired the lock and indicated that the last time it hadn't been done properly. So, we were very pleased about that. We were happy with the quality of work and the price was fine too. If need be, I would use their services in the future too.

Old fashioned glass door handle had fallen off inside of front door. Also the two deadbolts needed adjustments. I called Seth at A-OK and asked if he could come out the same day. He said he could arrived when he said he would. He repaired the knob, replaced spindle and adjusted the deadbolts. He had to leave to get a part, but came back quickly. His price was reasonable. I would definitely call him again and would recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Appointment was scheduled the day prior. Seth showed up on time and performed an initial inspection. I explained my concerns and what I wished to see completed. He made some recommendations. We came to a consensus and he explained that he needed to go pick up hardware and would be back in a half hour. Seth returned about an hour later (I knew it would not take him 30 minutes) and started working. Total work time was between 3 and 4 hours. I wasn't really keeping track as I had to babysit the cableguy that day. Seth asked me for a broom and dust pan and cleaned up. He basically did everything we agreed upon and I am satisfied with the work performed. I was approximating the work would cost between 300 and 400 and total amount due was 395.

Seth was very prompt and professional. He finished the work very quickly and to our satisfaction. He gave some good advice about installing the keyed entry door knobs in my 2 rooms upstairs and even helped me re-program the garage remotes. Later that night I got locked out, my mistake, forgot the new keys in my other jacket. I called Seth at 8pm that night, he promptly met me and gave me a master key he used to help key the cylinders earlier that day and I got inside.
