This project went very well. They were very thorough, clean, and timely. They 24/7 repair service and the unit came with a guarantee. I was very happy with this project.

I've been using them for the last 5 or 6 years. I really like them. They are more expensive than the average heating oil company but they provide more services around the clock. It is superb service. They are slightly more expensive. They do provide very fast service whether it is maintenance or delivery.

When my AC unit ran into problems, they were able to come out to repair it on the same day. Overall, all communications with this company have been prompt, helpful and pleasant. As a new homeowner, I had a lot of "dumb questions" and both the customer service personnel and technicians were more than happy to walk me through everything. They are competitive on pricing (but probably not the cheapest) - the biggest draw is getting seamless and headache-free service (which is priceless!).

Everything went great. They beat a couple competitor’s prices. They matched one of the best boilers out there on the market. I purchased a Pierless. Their customer service was great. The installation took a little long and there were some incorrections with it but they came back to make sure everything was correct and they correct it themselves.

I bought a house last year and it did not have working heat as they had let the oil run out (short sale). From the appearance of the service log on the burner, it was several years since the last service to the burner. I called Petro as they were the last to service the unit. The woman on the phone was very helpful and laid out all the different pricing and options to set up a service contract and oil deliveries. I signed up and scheduled my first delivery for the following day with a service to get the burner up and running. The oil delivery was at the house by 10am and the service man was at the house by 2pm. The heat was running in a half hour after his arrival! Their pricing for the service contract and the oil are less than what my sister and my parents pay with their contracts (they each use a different company than Petro). I just had my annual service performed again and once again it was very easy to schedule within my time frame. The serviceman was punctual and worked very neatly and cleanly. I highly recommend them!

I got a quote in the morning from a knowledgeable and friendly guy. They had the model I wanted in stock and two guys came and installed everything later that day. Everything went great, quick and painless. I had gotten another quote for the same exact work that was almost double what I paid Petro, so I'm very happy. We've had the new heater for about a month now and it's so wonderful to have really hot water again, wish we had done this sooner.

They are excellent, I've had them for years and they are the best. The house was built in the 1930s and the girl I bought the house from told me to stick with Petro because they are good and she had them for years. I didn't pay anything because it was covered under the maintenance of the AC. They are very good, they do burner and central air maintenance. I recommend them to everyone.

We had just moved into our home and had no idea how to use the steam heat system. Our realtor suggested we get our oil from Petro, so we called them and signed up for the automatic oil delivery and 1 year service plan. Petro sent over an incredibly knowledgeable, professional and personable tech who spent over an hour explaining how the system works, when to call Petro for service, and when we can fix things ourselves. He even gave us tips on how to save money through insulation and tweaking our radiators. He then thoroughly cleaned the boiler and explained to us how each part worked and how to make sure the boiler is being serviced well. I'm told Petro's oil prices are a little higher than others, but with service like this, I believe it's absolutely worth it. I'll be a Petro customer for as long as I live in a house that uses heating oil! February 2012 Follow up: I recently had an energy professional come to my house and he checked out the boiler as part of his overall inspection, he said the boiler had been kept up really really well and that we should hug our service technician for doing such a great job.

The provide excellent services. They are very efficient, and come when I call. I have not had any negative experiences with them.

I just became a customer on July 16. They were very professional. They did clean work and cleaned up after themselves. They were on time or early every time they came out.

The workers from Petro Oil are very responsible and punctual. I receive free service calls with them. They have the best prices I can find. They do quality work and they are very professional.

My experience has been very positive. I have had them out a couple of times for emergencies and they came right away. I needed my oil tank replaced and they were very helpful and got a sales representative out right away to go over what I needed to do. They were very responsive.

They are very responsible. They always do the work they say they are going to do. They always clean up when they are done. They always show up on time.

I've used Petro for 15 years. Overall, I'd give them a A- for service. But their fuel prices are outrageous, and this year I'm going to hire another local company whose current fuel prices are about 60 CENTS A GALLON less. That's $400 a year difference just for my small home's heating needs. Petro claims they are offering me the long-term customer discount with a quote of $3.10/gallon if I sign a contract. The competition is offering $2.60. Petro has no explanation for the disparity and they seem surprised that I'd switch.

THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY TAKE GOOD CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY ALSO COME ON TIME.

IT WAS CONTINUALLY ALMOST LIKE WE WERE BEING "STRONG-ARMED" BY THE SALES PERSON. THE ORIGINAL FURNACE PRICE WAS FAIR, BUT WE ENDED UP SPENDING MORE MONEY AFTER THE FURNACE EXPERIENCED A "BLOW BACK."

THIS COMPANY WAS ALRIGHT. BUT THE PRICE OF OIL IS TOO HIGH AND THAT MAKES THEIR PRICES HIGH. THEY DID A GOOD JOB PUTTING IN THE FURNACE, THE FIRST TIME THAT THEY CAME TO THE HOUSE. THEIR PAYMENT PLAN IS VERY GOOD.

THEY ARE WONDERFUL. THEY CALL US TO DO THE YEARLY MAINTENANCE, WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE I WOULD FORGET TO CALL THEM. THEY ALWAYS CALL US TO SEE IF WE NEED MORE OIL AND CHECK IF EVERYTHING IS WORKING PROPERLY.

THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN EXCELLENT. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS FAIR. I WOULD DEFINITELY HIRE THEM FOR A FUTURE JOB.
