Alex R. Tech 229, was an amazing technician with superior skills. He told me what his expert opinion was and now I'm planning for a replacement. I did not feel pushed or rushed, he cleaned my furnace and vents perfectly and told me I had some years for replacement and he was committed to making sure petro could save us some money. Petro technician, Rene 403, came on time and answered all my brother's questions. He did a thorough cleaning and our old furnace had an efficiency rating of 88 percent. Was very satisfied with the results!

Petro was overwhelmed with calls so responses were from one to three days. It required three attempts, then we fixed the problem ourselves. Many attempts were necessary to even get through to them on the phone. Petro does not put antifreeze in the oil they deliver nor do they suggest that it be done by the homeowner.

Petro technicians are knowledgeable, professional, courteous and punctual. If there is any unexpected problem during the routine maintenance they will carefully explain the situation and the remedy.

Both went very well. Service people arrived in the window scheduled or earlier in one case. Good explanations of what needed doing and speedy replacement.had me up and running, one event happened on Thanksgiving and they still came out promptly. I do have a service contract and have been with them 37 years. a good company.

I have had a service contract with them for over 30 years. oil is alway delivered in a timely manner. They service the boiler and come out to fix problems that may arise. Sometimes they are there before the phone is hung up, other times it takes a while, but its always fixed. THey are a huge company, but, still seem to have a small family feel, which is what I like most. I can always reach them, and, the reps try their best to be helpful. Can not say they are not pricey but the extra pennies are worth it in the end.

They came the night of the day we called.

I do not remember the cost because my husband took care of it. I really don't know the price.

Good. Serviceman was knowledgeable, punctual and explained what was going on and what he had to do.

The men did and EXCELLENT job! The old furnace was huge and very heavy. It was a challenging job. The new unit was put in and the job completed on time. Last, but not least the work space was left neat as a pin!

Service person was knowledgeable, explained issues and worked neatly.

As expected. No surprises. Tech was here for approx. 45 minutes.

Petro is always very responsive and gives it to us straight.

Arrived on time, Service provider was friendly in a professional way. Performed the work quietly and with a minimum of disruption to the house. We live with a long cat who is inquisitive and friendly. The provider responded to the cat's attention in a positive way.

great- from boiler cleanings to trying to find out why the heat in these 1921 steam radiators isen't reaching the bathroom. The oil is delivered in a timely manner and I get to negotiate my contract and have payments spread across the year. It's great. I like them

The technician was a real professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem and set about to correct the issue and get us back to full service. As it happens there is a small quirk with the particular furnace and he went through two pieces of equipment of different voltages. He reached out to his colleagues for consultation who suggested a remedy. It required him going to meet another technician for a specific part, but off he went and quickly returned, installed the part and had the furnace operable. We were and are in good hands with Petro. We have heat which we appreciate. Since we have an annual service contract there was no cost.

Everything went fine and works well. The only issue seemed that Petro's salesman overpromissed as to how and what could be accomplished in the space we had and the installers had a bit of trouble and creative thinking to actually install what Mike said could be installed.

We have always had a good experience with Petro.

I just had my chimney worked on and lined. I called Petro to see if they could come out to see what is going on with my furnace and they said they could not come out but if I got oil,, they would. There is a weird smell coming from the furnace and it keeps shutting off and on. I would never use them to get oil even when my furnace is in tip top shape. Such a turn off

It's part of a package. They remind you that your annual air conditioning service and your annual furnace service is due, so you don't forget.

The service call went well as expected.

Had an issue with needing an on site tank level measurement, which is not usually needed since most have a gauge. I received a follow up call during which I explained the issue, and Petro was highly responsive, set up the measurement, and delivered the first order all timely. Customer service is not about what goes well: it's about how a problem is handled. They did a great job.
