When we opened our doors in 1997, we had one goal in mind: to design custom integrated home security systems based entirely on the vision and needs of each of our clients. To that end, we decided we would provide the best security equipment available, offer the best possible customer service to our clients, and make security systems accessible and affordable to families and business owners. I hate them, and I would never recommend them to anybody. The system doesn't work well. The interactions are horrible, you can't get a hold of anybody if you need to, and if you get a hold of anybody, they say they are the wrong person, and then they transfer you to somebody else, who is also the wrong person.

Great service and equipment. Much improved over my 15 year old security system with lots of capabilities.
Description of Work: Guard me installed two systems for me. A DVR and 8 cameras and a perimeter alarm that connects to Monotronics central alarm monitoring. I could not be happier with both systems.

The product installation is outsourced locally in Indianapolis. The installer who arrived for installation had very little knowledge of the product. He asked if he could take the product home with him to prep for installation on Monday. Monday came and the installer was a no show. I called him and he apologized saying the job he was working on was taking longer then expected. Requested to reschedule my installation for Wednesday of the same week. Installer was a no show on Wednesday. I called the New Jersey Office to cancel the contract to install security camers. On their end they tried to fix the problem. The problem could not be fixed due to the installer lacking knowledge of the product.
Description of Work: The initial contact with the representative from the New Jersey went extremely well.

The installation was very good. However, two door contacts fell off in the first month. When I contacted GuardMe about the problem I received an immediate response. The technician came the next day to reinstall the sensors. Excellent customer service and response time to my issues. The system is well worth the cost. The panel is attractive and easy to use.

My entire experience with GuardMe has been exceptional. They were able to beat all of their competitors prices and had better equipment to provide. I never have to wait through and automated telephone system if I have a question or concern. I was given an employees cell phone number and he responds within minutes to any phone calls and/or text messages. The system that they installed has been very easy to use and convenient.

I have just started looking into getting some type of outside security system installed and feeling totally overwhelmed with all the different security systems that are offered here, there and everywhere, I don't have a clue as to how to evaluate what I'm looking at online and in the stores and it is very hard to find salespeople in the stores who can explain anything that makes sense. I have a small 800 square foot home and I mainly want to watch the carport and entry..not an alarm system.... Mike was honest with me to help me see that I don't necessarily need to spend $2500 dollars for some commercial type of system (probably made in China too) but he also explained the pitfalls of the various online Amazon/Walmart $100-$400 type systems and what the difference between wireless and hardwired. Tomorrow he is going to show me online what I will actually see in the dark (how clear a person will look in the dark) with one of his cameras that are of high quality and I'm looking forward to finding something that I can afford and that will also work for me.
Description of Work: After just a few days of looking around at stores and online and feeling totally confused about what type of security system do I need and what does it all mean and wondering where I will find someone who can install it and what will it cost, I came across a special deal offer from Guard Me Security and their ad said to "call anytime" so I planned to leave a message for them to call and I ended up getting Mike, the owner of the company at 11pm who took a great deal of time explaining the different types of systems and helped me to see the type of system that might work for my needs and we are going to continue the conversation tomorrow after I sleep on the idea that while I don't necessarily have to spend $2500 for four cameras, if I want something that will be reliable and identifiable in a court of law, I will most likely have to pay about twice what I had hoped but at the same time, I suspect that I will save money and heartache in the long run and I have already learned this lesson the hard way by employing "all around handymen" in the past for jobs that they really aren't qualified for and what good is saving few hundred dollars if it doesn't work in the end and the work has to be redone all over again?

The provider contacted me 5 minutes after I purchased the deal. They were very professional, however their services included did not specify that one of the items was interior cameras. I was looking for exterior cameras. I cancelled the deal since the price was higher than I could afford at the time for exterior cameras. I would definitely use them in the future, since they were very professional and contacted me immediately.

The young man they sent out was very nice and showed up a little bit early. I'm very pleased with everything. The young man even took my broom and got some spiderwebs down for me.
Description of Work: They installed the keypad, made sure the alarm was working, and explained how to use everything. The monitoring service called to followup the next day too.

It was flawless. Work was urgently needed and scheduled promptly. The installation was performed efficiently and at the time scheduled. They were actually not wireless cameras as the deal stated. What they are is they are motion sensors that take images, but it is not really a camera. I found that out prior to the installation and he apologized for the confusion. He was able to give me 3 extra door/window sensors free of charge. I was very happy in regards to that. I then have 2 sensors that take images. The equipment works perfect and flawlessly. They were able to installed the equipment pretty quickly. I can also monitor this equipment from my phone too; I can turn the alarm on and off and take pictures in 2 rooms.

I am extremely pleased with the service and the system. I was away from home and received a call saying an alarm was going off and would I be home soon. I said I knew of no one who should be entering my home. Police were there within 4 minutes. I also am notified anytime an alarm is triggered by email, even when it is me and I soon disarmed the alarm. I was referred by a friend and my friend and I were both awarded $50. I was also given a lower rate since being referred. The installation and system is free, you just pay the monthly fee to maintain the service. I also installed a smoke alarm which is also monitored.
