When we opened our doors in 1997, we had one goal in mind: to design custom integrated home security systems based entirely on the vision and needs of each of our clients. To that end, we decided we would provide the best security equipment available, offer the best possible customer service to our clients, and make security systems accessible and affordable to families and business owners. The service turned out very well. Two technicians came out and completed the installation in about 4-5 hours. They were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer all of our questions. They made sure everything was taken care of before they left and that every thing was working the way it should. The system works well and has everything we need. We can control the system from out cell phones. I had no problem scheduling the installation and they came out within a few days of us contacting them.They are quick to respond.

The service went very well. One technician came out and completed the installation a couple hours. He was very helpful and informed me of some better items to use. He upgraded my window system and was a nice guy. My only complaint is that he was rushed to get to the next installation and was not able to take as much time as I wanted to explain the system. He just gave me a quick review. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service.

I received a quick response to my inquiry from CJ. After telling him about our recent break-in and describing home, CJ suggested glass break sensors especially for sunroom that has seven windows and no motion detector because of the dog. I was a bit hesistant as the estimate was provided over the telephone and I was asked to agree and sign the electronic quote all in one fell swoop. I felt that I really did not have a lot of time to consider the package although I had researched other services and prices. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage because of the recent break-in but the sales part was kinda overwhelming. Knowing that I could cancel the contract within three (3) business days was my ace in the hole (standard contract policy which I did read on the quote before I e-signed). I had to change the installation date to a Saturday and my plan was to cancel if they could not install or if they were a no-show. Of course the installer came on time on Saturday and found the right spot to install the panel. He even told me that another company that uses the same system charged a lot more. The installer cleaned up everything and showed us how to use the system including the phone app. Although I've seen cheaper installation charges, you just cant put a price tag on peace of mind. The system is easy to use and seems to be some of the latest technology. Everyone from GuardMe including Craig Metzger - the owner - has contacted me to followup.

Percy, the owner, is a good guy and nice to work with. He has made sure we are taken care of over the last 3 years. There was no additional cost for switching system and we also paid an additional $200 for new wireless monitors. They have competitive pricing. The staff is willing to get things right and the technician who installed the system seemed genuinely nice. He wanted to make sure he did the job right. I have had no problem getting in touch with the company when I need.

The service went great and we could not be happier. We have recommended the company to several others. One technician came out and completed the job in about 5 hours. He was very friendly and informative. He told us exactly what he was doing and why. He was professional and a great. We purchased their regular system and got a temperature control upgrade with the ability to control the system through my cell phone. They made scheduling super easy and the CEO himself even came out to our home. We are now purchasing a home automation system from them as well.

I have been very happy with their services. Their pricing was is cheaper than another company I had used in the past. I did a lot of research for a new system and they offered the best product for the price. One technician came out and completed the job in a timely manner. He was very thorough and listened to what I had to say. He was a quiet worker and efficient. The product is working well and it does what I need it to do. There were some initial issues scheduling at first because of my schedule but other than that they have been very responsive.

The service went fine. One technician came out and completed the job in about an hour and half. He did a fine job. It is a very simple system and there is not much to it. There was not much that could go wrong. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service. I was able to get straight through to management when I needed and they were very responsive to my request.

We worked with Navid who was very patient as we changed our order many times. The installation went smoothly and the system has been working well.

System had numerous issues with false motion alarms. Techs came out 3 times to try and readjust sensitivity but didn't alleviate the problem. Had a faulty window contact. Tech came and swapped out. Once faulty equipment was either eliminated or replaced haven't had a problem. They were response each time by coming out to try to fix the problem.

The installation was carried out very quickly and efficiently. The technician who handled the installation provided excellent instructions on how to use the security panel. He also walked me through setting up my online profile and setting up my phone app to use the security system.

They were terrible. They are actually not a security company. They are selling an equipment. They had me on the phone and told me that I could have everything for a certain amount of dollars. Then when they were putting the staff in, I had ten windows not covered. So, I had to spend more money at Angie’s List. And I actually thought I was with the company called Guard but all their doing is selling equipment and they turn it over to another company. I did not know that at all until probably after a month I had the service. I had no personal contact with them, it was just the sales person and it was not good. Everything is turned over to another company which is Monotonic. After I got the equipment, they no longer have responsibility.
Description of Work: I used the services of GuardMe Security. They did nothing but sell. They did not put the equipment.

I have not been happy about the 2 years service, because the program I signed up for was supposed to be able to turn off my lights, and turn them on remotely, and cameras, thermostats and that kind of things, but they were able to get them to work in my home. I told them that I was willing to pay for the monitoring of my doors, and not the system because it was not working. They wouldn't change it, and there has been difficulty communicating. I tried to cancel the service, and not pay to get someone's attention, I threatened to put stuff on Angie's List, or the internet, and nothings happened. I am still being charged $50 a month, $30 of which I get nothing for. It is a $1200 mistake. The company out of New Jersey that I contacted, tried to walk me through it, and hit a wall, but there was no communication between them and monotronics who monitors my system. There is a communication gap there, so if I wanted to, I can't amend my system. I don't know why I can't get anybody to talk to me and help me, so it kills me every time I get charged. The company out of New Jersey tried to help, but Monotronics didn't. They guy who came to install it was very good. He was thoughtful, and creative, and looked around.

They have been pretty good. They are not so great on follow ups, but when they did the installation, it was positive. I would recommend them because the system is pretty easy to use, it has an LCD screen, and it is pretty intuitive. You can remotely alarm the house and stuff. It has good features. I read their reviews on Angie's List, and they were pretty good, and adn I also did some research out of Angie's List. They are one of the better companies in New Jersey. They came out to install the system, they check out the house, and I felt they were more thorough. The pricing is average.

I thought originally that it would be really monitored, but I am the one monitoring. It shows up on my home, that the alarm went off. I haven't had any issues, but I was expecting a true monitored system. The system works fine, and when we open up the door, the alarm goes off. They showed up on time when they installed it.

I have had very good experience with them. They accepted and hooked up everything I had in my house. It is amazing. Other companies were making me buy their own systems, but they just converted what I had in my house. It is a phenomenal security company, and I have recommended them to a few friends. I am real pleased with them. They haven't come out, as I haven't needed anything. Their price was comparable. The installation was free, and I pay so much a month.
