After various agonizing and confusing conversations with other alarm companies, I came across GuardMe. From the very first person I spoke with, I felt extremely comfortable and at ease. Mike, the Sales Manager, was extremely knowledgable, helpful and patient. He answered all my questions and even offered lots of great advice as to which would be the perfect system for my home but further, took the time to explain why. Something that I did not experience with any other company. We set up an appointment and Mike was in my home observing the property and handing me a quote the very next day. Not only was GuardMe affordable, they were also by far, the nicest and definitely the most attentive. I thrive on rapid, courteous service and that is exactly what I got from Mike. After agreeing to the quote, I had a formal contract from the owner Craig in my inbox within hours of my meeting with Mike. If that's not prompt service, what is? It took me about a day to square out and review the contract with my husband but Mike was always readily available to speak with me and answer any and all questions. I never had to leave a message or wait for a call back. Mike was always available. The day of the installation was also painless. Todd arrived on time and ready to work. He confirmed the devices I needed and explained what he would be doing. He worked diligently and was so delightful to talk to. After all devices were installed, he thoroughly explained how to use them including setting up my ipad and cell with the necessary apps for my cellular service. Another fantastic employee with GuardMe. As if that wasn't enough, Mike called after the installation to follow up and ask if everything is to my satisfaction. Again, offering to be of service if we should ever have questions or encounter problems along the way. All and all, I cannot say enough fabulous things about these professionals. Their customer service is top notch outstanding. I will most definitely recommend GuardMe to family and friends.

Awesome awesome AWESOME is all that I can say about this company! They even came out the day before Easter to install an alarm system in my new home. I have used them in the passed for my previous home, and they have been spot on. I can even use my alarm system from my iPhone! Thank you Ainsley for such a GREAT installation. You guys are the best there is! I have heard horror stories about other companies. Thank you!!

I called the company last Thursday, they are supposedly in New Jersey. I spoke with a gentleman named Mike. I explained my home, so that he could give me an estimate as to what the price would be. He asked for my credit card on my first call. I did not feel comfortable giving that information at the time. He spoke with a supervisor to get me scheduled for an appointment, as long as I electronically signed an email he claimed to be sending to me. I never received that email, and the whole phone call came off as very off-putting. He was hesitant to give me his last name, and hesitant to give me his position within the company. He was supposed to call me back and walk me through the email, which never happened. He supposedly gave me his personal cell phone number, so I could call with any questions.

The experience, start to finish, was fantastic. When the President of the company sent me an email, offering to speak with me if I had any questions on my quote, I was impressed. When he spent more than 1/2 hour talking to me I was doubly impressed!! And when he even suggested a better solution to my situation, even though it was a less expensive proposition, well, that said to me that they want the best for their customers, and were not just concerned with the most profitable thing for them. The technician who installed the system was courteous, polite, listened to my questions and suggestions and took all the time that we asked for in helping us understand this fantastic new system. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I received an unsolicited call for an alarm system. We set up an appointment but decided to shop around. Checked out Angie's list and received a few competitive quotes. Chose the company most local to us with great reviews. Installer arrived as agreed, did a thorough evaluation and installation. No hidden fees, no excuses, just good service.

From beginning to end this was a great experience . We just pay a monthly fee.

We were in the market for a home security system. GuardMe was one of three providers that contacted us. They were very professional & worked w/ us to provide us w/ the best security system for our needs. They answered all of our questions promptly & offered us services that we asked for instead of pushing us towards something that we didn't want. They even steered us away from a potentially wasteful expenditure. Only knock on the transaction (& I've told them this) was that a rep didn't come out & evaluate our security situation in person. Instead, we spent well over one hour evaluating our situation over the phone. Overall though, Craig & GuardMe did everything we asked of them.

I must say, I am very impressed with GuardMe Security. I shopped around a lot and found that I really was not getting the level of transparency and understanding that GuardMe provided. I was amazed at how much time the owner of the company and all of his staff were willing to take with helping me choose a system that was right for me. Since my schedule is very demanding, GuardMe would often speak to me during evenings and sometimes weekends to help me out. One of the sales professionals, Mike said that GuarMe believes is making sure customers are comfortable with what they are purchasing and don't mind answering as many questions as needed to make that happen. I can vouch for that! During the installation, the technician arrived on time and was ready to work. Unfortunately, I ended up getting delayed by getting locked out of my house. The technician was very understanding and even stayed later to finish the job. I don't think this type of cutomer service exists often these days. It is wonderful to see a company who is willing to go the extra mile for customers. I would highly recommend GuardMe and would to purchase more services from them in the future. As far as the system that was installed, I am very impressed with how easy it is to use and the amount of flexibility it provides. So far, the system is great. Final comment. the technician cleaned up all of the mess after the work was completed which I very much appreciated!

Great experience. I spoke to Craig, the owner, right after the Sandy storm. He returned my call AND provided a quote all while on generator power! I had another quote from a local alarm company for 5 times the price. They sent an local installer that had no experience with my type of system but he was very courteous, prompt, and stayed as long as it took to install my system. I would certainly recommend GaurdMe Security to anyone.

everything was excellent. i was very pleased.

I live across the country, so did not see first hand how it went, but my sister and brother-in-law lives nearby and checked it out. It sounds like the install went well, but there were a few communication problems: 1. I asked the sales person to install the control controls where her previous alarm controls were so that the location is familiar. I guess that info did not make it to the installer. It was installed on a different wall. 2. My brother-in-law was present for the installation, and reported that the installer did not do a very good job of explaining how to operate the system. He did not understand it himself, no less my Alzheimer's Mom. 3. I made it clear to the sales person that we wanted a medical alert pendant for Mom to replace her MedAlert pendant. They provided a key-chain remote with multiple buttons that my Mom did not understand how to use. I later learned that a single button pendant IS available for this system, but was not offered that option. Other than these few issues, I have found the sales staff to be very friendly and cooperative. They kept me informed via email, and ordered the medical pendant once I pointed out that we prefer it.I

A long day with calls back and forth between Guardme and the manufacturer of the surveillance system. At the end of the day, I asked the Guardme men to remove everything they had installed. Their only solution would have been to install three separate systems, one for each building on my property. I was disappointed, but do not fault Guardme. The men Guardme sent arrived on time and were extremely professional, but they and the manufacturer of the surveillance system just could not get the system to deliver as promised.

It went very well and much better than expected. I received follow-up emails and call. So far, I like the system alot and it's features. The contract signing went smoothly as it can now be done online. Craig and Richard have been responsive and I have had no complaints at all.

The job went extremely well. From Craig in sales visiting on-site to scope the work and providing the estimate and to the the technicians, Eugene and Ansley, arriving promptly and doing a thorough job. Upon request, GuardME provided me a few more hours after the installation to have their senior technician, Greg, to inspect the work and further train me in the camera system since there are so many features. Also hats off to Kevin in Customer Service for following up on any questions and concerns I had. I would definitely recommend these folks and I feel my house is as bulletproof as I can get while I am traveling.

In looking for an alarm service company I went strictly by the reviews I read on Angie's list. I was not disappointed. Their service and installation were performed as promised. The installer was very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I appeciated the follow up call.

They were terrific. if I had known how easy they would make it and how reasonably priced they are, i would have done this two years ago. Craig called me as soon as I hit the send button on my email. He came out tothe house and spent over two hours assessing what we need and explaining how it al works. We signed up that night. The technician,Ainsley, came 3 days days later, right on time, installed everything and walked me through the operation of the system. He was great Took exactly how long they said it would. The peace of mind is so worth it. I will recommend Guard Me without hesitation.

Our installer was a young veteran. We enjoyed the story of how he came to work for GuardMe and think companies who employ veterans deserve recognition!!

The entire process was easy and simple. We bought into the BIG DEAL mentioned thru Angie's List, by the next day the company called to set up a consultation and by the following week, equipment was installed and we were up and running. The installation representative was knowledgeable and professional. We had to call the company to follow up on a couple of system and online questions, but overall they were courteous and professional.

The GuardMe tech called early w/in the specified two hour window, I was happy it was earlier rather than later. After he arrived he got right to work. I have existing ADT system so I showed him all the alarmed windows, etc.. Now, I had just recently had ADT out (four hour window, GuardMe is two hour window) to turn back on the monitoring and to reconfigure the system to work with my cable system as my cable provider is also my phone provider. (The original ADT installation was hooked up to traditional phone line which I no longer have). The ADT tech could not figure out how to install w/ cable so he instead installed a wireless device. This took hours and then finally it didn't work and he had to take another hour to uninstall. He then removed the new batteries he had given me for the wirelessly alarmed motion and smoke detectors. We scheduled a follow-up appointment at which time they would install something else. Ultimately I canceled that appt. In the interim I got email from Angies list for GuardMe. After talking with Salesman Mike who was very patient and knowledgeable we made the appointment. The GuardMe tech had no issue at all with the cable phone and wired it up quickly and expertly - and now all the jacks in the house are working which was an unexpected added bonus. I highly recommend GuardMe - they are knowledgable, responsive, friendly, professional and the price is better than ADT! We'll see how the monitoring goes. ADT was going to charge me $150 to turn back on the system. I am glad I found GuardMe. I got a better price and much, much better service.

i give Guardme Security a lot of credit for being able to meet our needs. They didnt push us and helped us make the right choices to protect our family.

My husband and I take careful time and consideration before hiring a contractor. Since we heard about all of the negative stories about large national Alarm companies (unknowingly) using convicted felons as installers, we decided to research several companies and check out their credentials PRIOR to allowing them in our home. There were too many to choose from, but after doing all of the research we decided to actually interview 3 in our home. Out of the 3 companies, GuardMe stood out as the most knowledgeable, professional, and competitively priced company. The salesman Jim didn't seem very "salesy" at all. He was truly concerned with our protection and overall safety and piece of mind. Being a stay-at-home mother of 1, I was quite paranoid of the maintenance workers in our town-home community, since there had been break-ins during the day. He set our minds at ease, as well as discussing the importance of a fire system tied into our alarm, that we opted to purchase in addition to the alarm system. The other two companies seemed to only "sell" their system, and badmouth everyone else, but didn't really listen to our concerns. One actually made us feel very uncomfortable, insisting we "sign up" that night, or the package he was offering us would not be available at the price he quoted us. Needless to say, we showed him the door! The installation was the part that really concerned me, because it seems as if all of the "horror" stories I read online occurred after the salesman promised the world, and the installer shows up with a whole new plan. I have to say, that the installation was FLAWLESS! The installer first walked through everything Jim and I discussed, then he explained how everything was going to be installed. He then showed us how to use everything, and made sure that by the time he left, we were 100% OK with using the system. We opted for the "smartphone" service that allows us to see when the system was turned on and off from our iphones, as well as give us the ability to turn the system on and off by using an app on our phone. I highly recommend this!! We did actually have one mishap within the first month; we armed the alarm at night and my husband forgot, and opened the back door. The alarm went off and woke me and the baby up, and the central station called us in a matter of seconds! We gave them our password, and the whole tragedy was avoided, but it was a great test to see that there are actually people monitoring us 24/7! If you are seriously considering an alarm system for your home (which I highly recommend because I have never felt so safe after having it installed) take it from a paranoid stay-at-home mom, GuardMe is the only company to call. You will not be disappointed!
