Rob had a crew but all were professional. They were generally reasonably punctual. While the floors were covered with dust sheets, we ended up vaccuming still every day as there was a lot amount of dust still generated. The job did take about a week longer than estimated; in part due to waiting on tile, but also we felt in part due to certain days where no work was conducted. Rob was generally responsive and phoned regularly to finalize details, which we appreciated. He came up with a creative way to deal with the strange positioing of our curret toilet, and highlgihted plumbing issues but gave us options in terms of how to move forward.We were very happy with the final result although the painting around the wainscoting coud have been a little neater.

We were on a very tight schedule because we only have one shower and were looking to have the project completed while we were away on break. This is no small request and I honestly never thought I'd find an outfit that was up to the task but Jeff and Rob at Sorge & Garthe nailed it. Throughout this accellerated process they provided the guidance and timely responses we needed to feel comfortable. Their workmanship was outstanding and we are very pleased with our new bathroom. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Rob was in constant communication with us throughout the project and explained everything in great detail. There was no pressure to go with the most expensive options. In fact, Rob offered many solution throughout the project that would yield cost savings with high quality results. I contacted the company via email and they were very prompt in their response time. Within 2 weeks they came out to measure and I had the estimate. The people I dealt with were professional. I chose not to use this company because the estimate was a lot higher than the company I chose to use. I would give this company another try for a different job because their professionalism was quite good.

Rob Garthe was very professional and very friendly. Prior to giving me an estimate he inquired about what we wanted to achieve and a general budget. He provided resources for looking at tile and fixtures. Rob and his guys were prompt and always showed up. They protected the carpets and cleaned up at the end of each day. They worked with my wife and my schedules as we always wanted one of us to be there. The bathrooms look awesome. We will be remodeling our kitchen in the next few years and Sorge & Garthe will be our first choice for that work also.

We worked with Jeff Sorge on this project, having worked with him before on a kitchen tile project last year. Once again, we were very happy with the excellent and reliable work. Everything was done to schedule and at the highest level of quality. The work was done as neatly as anyone could hope for, with minimum disruption to daily use of our home. I wouldn't let anyone else do this kind of work in my home.

Again, we were very satisfied with the work Sorge & Garthe Tile provided. This is my second review for this company. Previously, they had remodeled 1 bath and added a secondary bath. Although cost of the kitchen remodel was pricey, the quality of the work performed overall was extremely good. Again Jeff Sorge and his team were professional, opened to suggestions, creative, timely, and was a pleasure to work with. Although we are done with our big projects, I would not think twice to call this company back on any future projects. I would refer this company without hesitation.

Jeff Sorge estimated the job to be done and the time frame to complete it. He was right on with both of these items and did the tile work and wallboard corrections in a professional manner and I was happy with the results when he was finished.

There was water damage from a leaking shower that brought this project to life. I had gutted the entire bathroom down to the bare wall previous to going out for bids. Jeff came and we discussed layout and materials. I had an idea of how I wanted it done and he was very receptive to them, explaining his approach to the job and they quoted as we had discussed. Job was completed at price and on time. Most impressive aspect, aside from the quality of the work, was the attention given to minimizing the impact of the work on the rest of the home. Working in someone's home requires a level of cleanliness and respect for people's property that is often overlooked by many contractors. Quality work that results in dinged walls and dust and debris throughout the house is not quality work in my opinion. These guys were every mindful of minimizing the mess and left the job site clean and organized every evening. They offered some lighting alternatives and also pointed out an issue with the drain lines, something that could have been easily covered back up. We were kept informed, costs for these additions were presented at the time they were to be done so there no surprises when the final bill was presented for payment. My wife and I are very pleased with the results.

Jeff Sorge and his crew were excellent in every way. Jeff fully explained the work to be done each day, and reviewed this with us at the end of the day. The crew cleaned up fully each day. Even during the demolition phase, the master bath, our bedroom and the hallway were vacuumed thoroughly. Jeff did not cut corners. He installed concrete wallboard in the shower and a water proof membrane in the shower floor and walls. His tile installation was perfect. The job was well coordinated with plumbers and electricians.We found Sorge and Garth through Angie's List, and we are glad we selected them for our master bath project. Of the three estimates, Jeff was in the middle, but clearly the work, responsiveness and attention to detail was what made Sorge and Garth the clear top value.

Jeff Sorge estimated thework effort that would be required to repair a leaking 2nd floor shower. He itemized the details of the cost for materials and labor. When he was given the job to completeand he/or his staff was on time everyday to complete this 10 day effort. The work in progress to completion went smoothly and the work area was always left clean at the end of the day. The completed job came out better that I expected and would definitely use this company again for any work for either kitchen or bathroom needs.

The job took approximately four days to complete. At any time there were one or two men on the job depending on what needed to be done. They were very professional and I would recommend them to others. They charged only what was in the original itemized contract; there were no hidden costs. I would use them again.

Rob arrived on time for the scheduled estimate and gave us a very detailed account of each step in the process.He then sent us the proposal with everything broken down and priced. The project would take five days and Rob was able to work with us to fit our tight schedule.He and his crew arrived at eight o clock sharp every day and left at four thirty, cleaning up after themselves each evening. Rob, Jeff, and their crew were very friendly and very professional. Our floors look beautiful, enhanced by the tiled toe kick of the cabinets, which we never thought of but Rob suggested. Sorge and Garthe weren't the cheapest estimate we received but we are very happy we chose them. I will definitely use them for future projects and highly recommend them.

Jeff Sorge returned our initial phone call, came out promptly. He provided via email a detailed written estimate. All questions via email and telephone messages were responded to within 48 hours; more than often 24 hours. Jeff kept us updated throughout the process, enabling us to make changes and modifications as the project progressed. Jeff was very accommodating when requesting revisions. He made recommendations and was creative in the process. He also recommended places to go for supplies such as tile, limestone, toilets etc. The entire team was professional, respectful, punctual, courteous and pleasant; so easy to work with. They were in our home almost daily for weeks, arrived 8:30 am and were non-disruptive. They were extremely tidy, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly each day. Jeff and his workers especially Dan provided precise attention to detail. High quality work! They mapped out the tile before they laid one tile. The tile work is impressive and everything came out perfectly, exactly as we had hoped for. Jeff remodeled our main bathroom down to the studs and expanded this space; moving a wall. Taking down the 1950's tile was done with minimal dust; amazing. He created a walk-in frameless glass shower/w bench using the Kerdi system. He also added an additional full size bath that included a deep soak whirlpool. Installed waterproof sheetrock on walls, moved and installed two bathroom doors, and installed two vents for each bath that including a ceiling fan/light. He made openings for recessed radiators. Build a space to install a tower of cabinetry. The wall he moved to expand the bathroom affected a bedroom. He built the bedroom wall and put the room back together; down to trim molding and trimmed back the carpeting. We also had crown molding added to 4 rooms. Sub-contractors that he hired for drywall, glass doors, electrician, Jeff monitored their work to our satisfaction. We hired our own plumber. In terms of price, the price was well worth it. There were no unexpected costs. I chipped a tile after the job was completed and Jeff sent one of his workers out the next business working day and replaced the tile for us free of charge. I would highly recommend Sorge & Garthe Tile. My kitchen is the next project and I have already asked Jeff to put me on the schedule. Thank you very much Jeff! We are still amazed everytime we walk into our bathrooms! Funny, the one bathroom was simply a storage area at one time; now it's holds a deep whirlpool tub :)

Everything went very well. They responded to initial and follow up calls in a reasonable time. They made a few suggestions that we would not have been aware of that made us recognize their professionalism. They showed up when they said they would, and finished in the time predicted.They did most of the work in two days and had to come back the next week to seal the bottom. They were professional and efficient. The mess was cleaned up each day. We have no complaints and would definitely work with them again.

He was knowledgeable about energy saving devices, worked to retrofit where possible He started work when he said he would, communicated in detail almost daily, and had a pleasant and professional staff. They were in our home almost daily for weeks, and were as non-disruptive as possible. The design ideas he had were great, and the bathrooms look fantastic and are now the nicest rooms in the house. The only imperfection was that we had wanted them to clean some existing grout, which somehow never got done, but was also not paid for, and his painter was not able to handle specialty finishes, or painting our skylight well, which is something he disclosed to us before we started the work. We would have probably been better off spending the extra bucks and time in having a professional crew like Certapro come in to do the painting, but it was very inexpesive, and pretty satisfactory.to have Jeff's trim painter do the whole thing.

We love our new bathroom. The tile work is great. The grouting and caulking is very well done. We are very happy with the wood trim and wainscotting installed. Additionally, from the first point of contact, the company was very responsive. They were the last company we had scheduled to see our bathroom for an estimate, but they were the first to give us an estimate - came on a Friday and received the estimate via email on the following Tuesday (the Monday was a holiday). All questions via email and telephone were responded to within 24 hours. On the job, the workers were very respectful and professional. They were very nice with our two young children who did not mind having them around at all. The co-owner, Jeff, was on-site every day and arrived promptly at 8:30 am each day. The work was estimated to take two weeks to complete and was completed in exactly two weeks. Jeff also worked with us to allow us use of the tub as soon as possible as this is our only full bathroom. Fast, professional, quality work! In terms of price, they were not the cheapest but also not the most expensive estimate that we received. I do feel that the price was well worth it. We did pay additional money from the estimate because we wanted a more detailed tile layout and a little more expensive tile for the floor and tub wall. The additional costs were discussed and agreed upon before the work started. There were no unexpected costs. After the work was completed, we did have a small issue with the tub drain. Jeff came out the same day we called and fixed the problem immediately. We also received an estimate for tiling our kitchen floor. We hope to have them do the work once we have the funds available. We received that estimate quickly as well. We highly recommend their services.

The project went extremely well. These contractors discussed the project in detail with me in advance, performed excellent, detailed, high quality work, and were very accommodating when some revisions to the plan needed to be made mid-way along, entailing redoing some portions of the work. They were extremely tidy, and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly each day. Their pricing was excellent. I would work with them again without hesitation.
