RJ Custom Awning provides all services on new or existing residential and commercial stationary and retractable awnings and canopies to include spring rehangs, fall takedowns, seasonal storage, cleaning and any type of repair, restitch or recover needed. We also remove - sometimes at no cost - any canopy frames or awning frames no longer needed or wanted.

Services we don't offer

We do not replace non-working motors or other mechanical parts for retractable awnings or canopies.

What stands out here is "... & beyond." If any adjustments are needed after an installation (either new or simply during spring rehangs), we're going to show up and get them done in a timely manner - after which nothing will be left hanging... except your awnings.

they arrived on time, did the work, answered all questions and kept in touch over the winter via emails, they are always there to answer anything that might pop up, we are looking forward to the spring to have the awnings put up by them. it gives you peace of mind knowing they are out there. thank you
Description of Work: found them in a local paper after a problem with a previous awning company. they responded very quickly, did the job , cleaned up after and made sure we were completely satisfied before they left. they treated the awnings like they were there's , folding and storing them nicely. we were impressed with their work and the timely manner in which it took to take down our awnings.

On Tuesday morning, it was snowing very heavy and my awning was sagging in the center from the last snowstorm that we had on Sunday! As the snow continued to come down heavily, I knew my awning was never going to make it through another storm! I called Russ and explained (pleaded) my dilemma, and he showed up in less than an hour. Immediately, he began cleaning off the snow and ice from the top of my "bowed" and sagging awning! I thought it was a lost cause, but, Russ did such a great job clearing off all that heavy ice! Russ really came to my rescue........and, so promptly as we'll! His promptness and concern to correct the " emergency" was above and beyond my expectations! By the time he finished cleaning off all that snow and ice, he was covered with snow and looked like a real live snowman!
Description of Work: Russ, the owner of RJ Awning, answered an emergency call in the middle of a heavy snowstorm!

They came out and took them down and within one week, they brought them back, put them up, and the neighbors across the street asked if they were cleaned or new? What a great comment! They were very professional, the awnings look fabulous and I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Russ!!!!!
Description of Work: I contacted them to clean my four canvas awnings. Russ said it was their busy season (take down season) and that they would be out within a week and 1/2. The next day he called and said they were in the area and asked if they could come and take down the awnings to take back to clean. Well, YES!

As always, we like to set the level of expectation at the outset. And when something changes, we're just as quick to make our customers aware so they can adjust accordingly. In this case we were able to accommodate a new customer sooner than planned - and because she was willing to see us on short notice, we were able to clean and rehang her awnings that much sooner. The icing on the proverbial cake was still being onsite when her neighbor asked if the awnings were new or just cleaned. Sometimes timing is everything.

Occasionally customers simply don't know what can be done to maintain, refurbish or otherwise salvage their awnings or canopies. So we'll offer an honest assessment - good or bad - and let them decide accordingly at that time. In this case the customer gave consideration to replacing old-looking, dirty, mildew-covered awnings. But upon inspection, we advised that all they really needed was a good cleaning and sealant application to make them look new again. It was the more inexpensive option - but it allowed our integrity to shine and reinforced our standing with this customer (and others in similar situations).

We've been told by many that they've "shopped" us and found us to be very competitive. Our approach has always been to offer our best pricing at the outset, to advise of advertised promotions some may not have seen and even to extend referral discounts some didn't know we offered. Because good, honest business creates good word of mouth - and that's priceless.

We have had negative experiences related to our awnings over the years. This is the first company we have used that were aggravation free. They are very nice and reliable. Hard working. Return calls and emails promptly. Kept us informed re when work would be done etc. We would highly recommend them. Very accommodating etc etc
