we have had RJ Awning create, hang and at end of season remove our awning for years. They are very professional, quick with their work, awning is well constructed. They send out reminders to schedule appointments.

Russ and his team were terrific. We were selling our house and needed our awning replaced ASAP. Russ was incredibly understanding, very responsive and came out right away to help us out. My wife and I decided to replace our old 18 year old SunSetter awning with a permeant awning that would be lighter in weight, withstand wind and rain and would still allow light into our kitchen window. We shopped around and found the Palram Joya 10 ft. x 14 ft. patio cover on the Home Depot website. Our only issue was that the installing of this patio cover was a Do It Yourself project and I really did not want to attempt the installation myself. RJ Custom Awning Co. to the rescue! I looked on Angie’s List and found RJ Custom Awning Co, a company with an excellent rating. I sent Russ DiBella (the owner) an email one evening and he contacted me the next day! Wow! The company had never installed a Palram patio cover however after doing some research on the product (took about a day) they told me they could handle the installation. We were so pleased that they were willing to help us and in the process we discovered why they earned and deserved their Excellent rating on Angie’s List. Here’s why: They are very friendly and helpful. They are extremely professional. They are extremely dependable. They are highly skilled. Their charge for installing a 10 ft. x 14 ft. Palram patio cover is a very reasonable $800.00 The rest of the story; they came out and took a look at our house and the patio cover parts and pieces (a lot of pieces) and then setup an appointment to do the installation which went flawlessly! They did a wonderful job! Our new patio cover looks great and our grandkids and my wife and I love the ability to sit outside when it’s raining. For those shopping at Home Depot, the Palram Joya awning/patio cover is well made with a good warranty. It is not the awning for you if you are looking for heavy shade however it does provide about 40% shade coverage. We are really happy with the quality and look of the Joya patio cover! So if you live in the “New Jersey or South East Pennsylvania market place” and you’re interested in any kind of awning, you can’t go wrong with RJ Custom Awning Co. They sell and install retractable and permanent awnings for any type of house. Likewise if one of the Palram patio covers works for you go ahead and order it you won’t be sorry. RJ Custom Awnings is a wonderful company! Russ and Jack are a pleasure to work with and do a beautiful job. From start to finish, everything was done with excellent customer service, professionalism and each part of the process was communicated with us in a prompt manner. We have had friends sit on the porch and note the extras put into the hanging of the awning which makes it hang perfectly. Russ and Jack take pride in their work and it shows! They had so many patterns/fabrics to pick from and offered some helpful hints which produced awnings that compliment our brick home. My father in Mullica Hill has used them for years and upon our order, we learned 2 of our immediate neighbors use them as well. Once Russ got here to do the installation everything went well. He also helped me find an electrician to add an outside outlet. Both installers and electrician were very knowledgeable and professional. I am hoping to use the electrician again in the future. The only downside to the whole process was that it was a little pricey considering I had to wait so long for the installation. There were things that happened on his end as well as the winter holidays and some unexpected snowfall. We had to reschedule several times. I have to say though, Russ was awesome at staying in touch and keeping me informed as things were rescheduled.
