Would recommend them (and have already) to others. | |They cleaned and replaced the sleeve for the chimney with a steel one. |Price may be a bit more than expected but I got what I paid for.

Description of Work: Water is leaking down my chimney. Village Sweep came by almost immediately, did a detailed evaluation of what was wrong and told me that I would have to get a mason to do the work. They referred one but there was no pressure to use that one.

Description of Work: Cleaned chimney. Performed masonry work on the chimney. They perform good work but I feel that they are on the expensive side. Cost to clean the chimney was $225.00 and cost of masonry work was $500.00. Finished work in a timely fashion and were quite knowledgeable and professional.

He determined that the worked I had called for was needed, but there was additional work that should be done before that, he explained the work, referred me to a mason, and didn't charge for the visit. Thoroughly professional, would certainly recommend.

Description of Work: We had been advised by another contractor we needed to replace our terra cotta chimney liner. Dave inspected our chimney at no charge and told us we were in good shape and didn't need a new liner. Saved us $3500.
