Clean has been so/so, but over all I am very happy. Tom is our project manager & he has made this go seamlessly. I really have nothing bad to say at all.

On the Spot Home Improvements did a great job of cleaning all my windows. They were neat, thorough and fast, and the price was very fair. I would definitely use their service again when the need arises.

They were wonderful and I've used them twice now. They use google maps to look at your house and give you an estimate and they know how many windows you have. They came on time and charged what they said they were going to charge.

They did the job, but it took some effort to explain what I was expecting and the scope of the job. I wasn’t really sure why there was such a disconnect. Some of my screens were damaged in the process as well. To be fair, the screens were older, but I would have appreciated it if they had at least informed me. The quality of the window cleaning was good, though. I would use them again just based on price, but I’m not sure practical it is given where I live and how dirty they get.

I am still trying to get a hold of them to correct a few things and get the updated information but so far everything has been very good. They didn’t have to take on this job that was complicated by a previous service provider and have been very helpful. The estimate was done quickly and they were speedy about getting the estimate back to me.

They arrived on time almost every day. The guys were professional and got the remodel done faster then I expected.

It went very poorly. I arranged the estimate meeting a week in advance, for August 19 at 3:00pm. I had said that the only person who would be there would be the real estate agent (who is a long time friend of ours), and that this was due to a house inspection, and that we would only want actual work on one of the three identified problems. Two hours before our appointment, the contractor worker at On the Spot called and said that they didn't do things like this. He said housing inspection estimates don't normally turn into real work, so it's just a waste of their time. He said they would have to charge (and I was willing to pay, as long as the estimate cost got applied to the final work), but then he said again that they don't do things like this. It was not a surprise to them that this was a housing inspection estimate, since I had explained it in my initial call, and the contractor raised the issue on the phone unprompted when he said he wouldn't come. Furthermore, one of the three inspection problems was structural (although not the one we wanted work on); and he apparently was reading the notes taken by the person I had spoken to a week before, because he then said he couldn't do the structural item, either. It is not a problem that a contractor prefers not to do estimates that don't turn into work (although I was willing to pay for the estimate, if it got applied to the one item we planned to fix). It is not a problem that they can't look at structural issues (although it is a little surprising that they aren't qualified). What is a problem is when they waste 6 days and 22 hours out of the seven days of lead time you give them, and then call and leave a message saying they won't be coming. That's 98.8% of the advance time I gave them before they decided to back out. Knowing all the information, they just waited until the last second to say they didn't want to help, wasting a tremendous amount of my limited time before closing. At least, I guess, he did call at all, instead of just skipping out. That's something. But I definitely would not ask them to help again.

Came and evaluated work. Est. provided next day and came as promised.

They were excellent, they did a great job!

The team is impossible to work with. We had asked for estimates early in the process of buying a home and the sales person was wishy-washy in response, always pushing back any response if there was contact. When the estimate folks finally came to our house they were meticulous but NEVER ACTUALLY FOLLOWED UP! Despite repeated calls and emails. The whole process was incredibly frustrating and upsetting especially since we were just closing on a home and needed prompt work done. We were planning to do a large amount of remodeling, landscaping and other work. Would not contact or think about hiring again.

I canceled the Big Deal because they raised the price.

It went well. No complaints from the tenants and no issues with the gutters since. The only minor issue was that there was no communication when the job was done. I would have expected a report back on the completion of work and an update on the state of the gutters since I was not onsite.

They missed a gutter but I didn't call them back. Otherwise they were fine.

I contacted On The Spot using their website to schedule a gutter cleaning. They quickly confirmed the time of the appointment and cost for the service. On the day of our appointment their team showed up on-time and quickly completed a full gutter cleaning and flushed our downspouts. Their team included three men with leaf blowers who cleared all leaves and debris from our gutters and roof. They also took digital pictures after the work was complete as a confirmation so we could see that the job had been done correctly. Their team cleaned up all material blown from the gutters to leave our yard and patio cleaner than when they arrived.

They did a great job on the fence. Two complaints: I was given a time frame of between 8-12, but didn't get here until 12:45. Also, I had used this company to power wash the fence 3 years ago, and the price doubled since that time! I wasn't happy with that.

I hired them to do my bathroom and when signing the contract they said everything would be in stock for the work. They took everything out and when they started doing the work the tile was on back order and they kept increasing the price as well. This was supposed to take approximately 10 days and it took 3 months.

The supervisor told the workmen they had spent too much time on the job and even though they had not finished. I paid them anyway.

The two cleaners were a bit late but got right to work. There was a slight misunderstanding as to amount of work to be done. When the company was called they clarified the agreement so that all the work was performed as had been requested.

They were okay. I had to ask them to come back because they completely missed the entire front gutter when they did the work originally. They did apologize and come back out to finish the job and it was done well.

I did not need to have the gutters cleaned 4 times a year. I needed to know what day the crew would arrive because my gate is locked, so they would not be able to enter the yard. They could not even let me know the same morning.

They did a lot of work for me before. They did a professional job and they did the whole thing in one day. They ripped the old off, tore off, put a new roof on and the whole project was completed within the same day, which was good. They had the large crew to get the work done quickly. They did a roofing job on 4 of my houses. The experience was fine. I have no complaints and there were no issues. If I had any issues, I feel confident that they would have resolved it

I don't recall the details now, but it went very well.

I told them what I wanted. They completely broke down the brick and concrete. They put new foundation for the step and build up the concrete and cover some of it with brick and topped it with limestone. There was a point where they said we got to do this and it was a couple of hundred for that because they had to dig deeper and weren’t sure how the cement underneath was. They left some concrete bits in my front lawn. I did have an issue with the top step with the way they finished it and I didn’t really like what they had done, but they eventually fixed it to my satisfaction. What they finished didn’t look nice to me and I understood there is an issue and they have to come around a little. My house is not completely flat across the front and the dining room sticks out about a foot and half and so it looks bigger so they had to cut around that but they didn’t finish it to me in a way that was aesthetically speaking. They talked me out saying this is all we had to do. I took the photograph and I sent it them and said this is what I will post on Angie’s list and then somebody came the next day. It wasn’t symmetric and it didn’t look professionally finished. The center was a rectangle of concrete and bordered by limestone. The rectangle of concrete was not even a rectangle and the first and second stripe was straight but the third one went about two third of the way down and came out of three and went down again six or seven inches. It didn’t look nice. The little place where it was kicked off they had to cut the lime stone to fit in there and they would have got an actual rectangle and they were too lazy to do that.

It took a while to get the appointment (the sale had a large response). Also, I'm on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and told them to bring a tall ladder b/c the one window we really needed cleaned faced the courtyard. They brought it, be when they arrived, we all realized that the window face a neighboring courtyard that we didn't have access to (whoops), so instead they just hung out the window (no scaffolding!!!) and cleaned it that way. I almost had a heart attack, but they did everything they could to clean that pesky window and did an amazing job- they did miss a few spots but I couldn't really complain. I gave the guys a nice tip.

You can probably get it cheaper elsewhere, but On The Spot was reliable and did a good job cleaning up the grounds afterward.
