The project was well done and looks great - have gotten many compliments on it.

We had extensive squirrel and bird damage on our soffit where squirrels were nesting. On The Spot came and explained what needed to be replaced. Their price was competitive and fair. We hired them out of the three companies I had look at it. Bob was extremely responsive and keep me updated as the work was happening. They came on the day they were supposed to and completed the work in the time frame they said. Work looks great. The guys went above and beyond to clear old nests. Very happy with On The Spot. I've had many various contractors and handy men do jobs at my house and I would say On The Spot is better than your average in every aspect. I will definitely call them again.

I had a brick wall in the basement that needed repair before i sold my home, the staff at on the spot was very courteous , helpful and accommodating they worked with me and i was able to have my repair done on time before the closing of my home. i would highly recommend on the spot for any of your home improvement and repairs

Went very well. Replaced all four in the expected amount of time. After replacing them showed me all the old flue pipes so I could see the worn condition they were all in.

Fast forward to October 2015 when we needed to have our central A/C unit in our attic serviced. Unbelievable as it may seem this was the first time since On The Spot replaced our roof three years ago that we had been in the attic. When we did we noticed that the entire attic floor was covered with roofing paper, wood slats, nails, bits of shingle, etc. I phoned On The Spot and the founder Mike DeMarco called me back within minutes. I told him what the issue was and he had a guy at our house that afternoon. He spent a few hours, was covered in dust and dirt, and took out four huge bags of debris. Needless to say we are more than thrilled that after three years On The Spot resolved the issue immediately and provided the most outstanding customer service in doing so. No doubt the next time we need work done On The Spot is who we will call first.

They did a great job and I called recently to have them back again but they no longer provide service to the area where we live (Eatontown, NJ area). Our loss, but I found someone else just as good on Angie's List : )

We weren't totally happy with that one. I think we just expected that they would do more than they actually did.

The quality was much better than the previous contractor. Everything looks great. I just had a problem getting the scheduling done. They were supposed to call to setup a day and the next thing I know they call me from my front door wondering why I wasn't home. If they could clean up their front office/scheduling issues they would have a better rating. The workers were great.

We were very impressed by the overall quality of the work conducted. The OTS team were all very courteous and polite and while the job was being conducted kept us informed of any issues arising. There was one problem where there wiring existed behind the wall where the door was installed but Elijah scheduled an electrician to move the wiring the next day and the overall project was completed in 2 days.

The job went very well they cut out all the old sheet rock around the garage took out all the old insulation and installed all new sheet rock. Then they swept up the garage in the place looks great.

Fine, clean work. Overall smooth transaction.

They were very responsive. The estimate was provided timely so it could be submitted to the insurance company.

I called and after discussing types of work to be done (painting, minor repairs, new doors hung) the hourly rate quoted would be comparable to a contractor or even an electrician from an established business. The jobs were not *so* small that I could not hire regular professionals. I realized that this company was not offering the benefits associated with a handy-man, which would be simple work for a lower hourly rate. They do apparently offer the handy-man benefit of offering to do a wider variety of chores but variety is not complexity. I felt I was looking for someone to do a chore, not a job requiring expertise I understand that some work might require licencing, which brings a higher fee. But CALL YOURSELF. My opinion might not be the same as yours and also the rates may have become more reasonable with the passage of time. I might consider calling again in the future when soliciting estimates.

I made an appointment for an estimate for new front steps, the guy showed up but didn't leave an estimate. He left me a message to re-schedule because no one was home. But when I made the appointment they told me I didn't have to be home. I called him for 3 days to discuss. He finally called me back after I told the secretary that I left him 3 messages with no return call. When I spoke to him he started his conversation with "Why are you telling my office that I didn't call you?" with a huge attitude! I said "because you didn't call me back" He said, 'I called you on Monday", I said "that was 3 days ago". And that is when I ended the conversation. I felt like if that is the way he is going to start our relationship, I don't wan to do business with them.

They’re fine. They are very nice people. I was satisfied with their work and everything. The chimney repair was good. For the roof repair he used duct tape instead of those nylon ties but otherwise he did a good job. I would use them again. They would come in to give me a price on painting.

They demolished, gutted and remodeled my whole bathroom. I couldn't believe the attention to detail. They put up new drywall, re-wired the bathroom, added an exhaust fan. They installed a new shower, sink and handicap bars for the bathtub & toilet for better accessibility. The tile work came out so beautiful with the perfect gout color that matched the floor tiling as well. This was my favorite part of the work. I was so satisfied with how it turned out and the workers were very polite and worked diligently.

The company gutted our old kitchen, installed cabinets, moved and installed appliances from one end to another. New GFI outlets and wiring were done. They tiled, put up a beautiful mosaic backsplash, painted the walls and installed under counter lighting. My dream kitchen came true.

It worked out really well. They did a good job. It was a big deal purchase. There was an issue. I think they charged my card twice. They reversed it as soon as I mentioned it to them.

I must say they were very professional, timely and the work that was done came out really beautiful. The new roof changed the whole look of the house and it looks amazing!! I highly recommend this company for the job and will be using them anytime I need work done.

It was a while ago but it went fine. The man was very friendly, informative and did a very good job.

The cleaning itself went well but when they took off our blinds and replaced them we realized after the fact that the blinds would not go up and down. It was a long process to get them to come and fix them. They had to send out another worker who had more experience with these blinds and he was obviously not getting paid for the extra trip and let us know about it. We felt really guilty about it though it was the responsibility of the company to fix it and pay their employee to do it. We ended up giving him some money for his time. I don't think the blinds were ever functioning properly again. Not a success story. I put down $0 because I don't remember how much it cost. It was an Angie's List deal.

The service was fine. The experience was good. There were no problems with the service.
