I was disappointed to find out that their did not include window sills---pretty basic when washing windows. Another disappointment was that some shrubs kept the two men from being able to wash several of our downstairs windows. I'm sure there must be some device (a long pole with a mop and a squeegee at the end of it) that could have done the work. The windows that were done were nicely cleaned, however. What I consider to be very unprofessional was the lack of any paperwork whatsoever. The men did not come with a work order showing what I had discussed when making the appointment, nor did they have any receipt to give us upon leaving. I had to wait until I received my credit card bill to determine if my charge was correct. Not only is this unprofessional, but if I wanted to book them in the future, I would not be able to, so it hurts their business as well!

I wanted an estimate on painting that they did not give me. The house is in desperate need of being repaired. The partial estimate was for $74,257.00. They have been very nice. My husband thinks they came in a little high and he wants to get some more estimates. They came right away. I thought they were pleasant. I think their estimate is a little on the high end. I don't really know enough about them. I have to do a little more homework. They seemed Johnny-on-the-spot. They came very quickly.

They came out to my house twice because the first service wasn't done correctly. On the second attempt, the work was fine. They suggested for me to get rid of my gutter guards instead of trying to fix them. I also wanted to hire this company to power wash, but am no longer seeking services from them.

They actually had to come back because the gutters downspouts were clogged so I was a little disappointed. The price on Angie's list was $69 but when I called them, they said that if it was a two storey house it was going to be more money. I didn't like that either but I went along. I wasn't even there so I couldn't really come out and see what the guys did. When I came to the house I told them that the gutters had been clogged so that was a negative.

Schedule for cleaning and they said they came and did not. My gutters have not been cleaned and taking my business elsewhere. I am still getting overflow and went on the ladder to see if the debris is still there. I have called several times and left messages no one from the gutter cleaning department is returning my calls. I will dispute the charge with my credit card for services not performed. I would stay away from this deal. You will lose..

They did a really good job. They were not inexpensive. They were here on time and they were two really nice young men. They were up to my expectation. I have had my house pressure washed before and they did a lot better job.

Through Angies List I bought a special to have my gutters cleaned. The first appointment didn't work out because On the Spot didn't have access t our water which had yet to be turned on. Had I known they needed water I would have made sure the spicket was on, perhaps that was my fault. The second appointment they showed and cleaned our gutters successfully. In general I was pleased with the job done. My disappointment with the firm stems from my asking for a quote for gutter covers. Apparently they measured and told my husband they would call in a few days with the estimate. The call never came and I won't chase down companies who seemingly don't need the business if they can't call clients back. Bottom line: Gutter job just fine. Wish they could be a bit better at getting back to people on estimates. Oh well.

Used Angie's list coupon for window cleaning. Price was right. Scheduling was a problem. When we initially called they argued the coupon was for only an outside cleaning. It was supposed to be for a full outside, sill and screen cleaning. I called back and told them what the coupon states and they said they have been so busy it was their error. We scheduled and they didn't show or call. We called to reschedule. They just decided to show up one day for no apparent reason. We said we were not scheduled for that day and. Had to confirm they were coming at the scheduled time. In the end the positive was the subcontractor doing the cleaning did a great job.

This was the first time I used On The Spot. The work turned out well. I had asked to have an estimate for patio structures and pergolas from a division of their company. No one ever showed up for the appointment we made for the estimate for the patio. When you make an appointment for an estimate and waste your time waiting for them, it leaves a bad taste. They also came at the very last minute for the gutter cleaning. I probably would not use them again. It was a good price point and they did the job but they were not very responsive or punctual. There was a lot of debris under the deck, making us think they did a good job cleaning out the gutters but they did not take the time to clean up the debris. We had never had anyone clean the gutters before so we really did not know what to expect.

The man that did clean the windows did a great job. He was all by himself, and he worked very hard and got them all done.

First of all, why in the world is Angie's List recommending a "highly rated" service provider with an overall score of "B?" I would think it should be only "A's" that are highly rated. If you read the reviews, some are good, but the ones that are bad are really, really bad. This is not a dependable service provider. When I called Angie's List to complain about this provider, they asked if I wanted a refund for the Big Deal. I said I'd give them one more chance to show up, and if they didn't show up again, I would call back for a refund. So the next morning I checked my emails and Angie's List has already issued a refund. Not only does On The Spot get an "F" from me today, but so does Angie's List! We purchased the Big Deal in April, and after calling On The Spot five times and leaving messages, they finally called back after I threatened to write a bad review on Angie's List. They made an appointment for Monday June 6th, but would not give us a time frame, they just asked us to be home all day long. My husband stayed home from 8am to 6pm and they never showed up, never called, nothing. I was going to give them one more chance to show up and do a good job, but Angie's List messed that up so, oh well, no clean windows and probably no more Angie's List, too. Personal recommendations from your own friends and neighbors are still the best way to go.

OVERALL - I am more than happy Do use On The Spot - No regrets - So happy I finally have shining windows.

They did an excellent job. They were very neat, they were efficient and courteous, and they did a great job. I think the price was very fair.

They finally show up for the appointment that was schedule for earlier in May. When I arrive home I the first thing I noticed was how do you clean gutters without any hose or water. My daughter was at home when On the Spot Home Services showed up. I ask my daugther how they were cleaning the gutters without water, and she explain to me that they used my water hose to clean the gutters on side closesest to the water hose. When I arrive they were moving the laddler towards another side of the house, I observed them climb-up and check the gutter and also reached in to remove some debris with there hands since they had nothing else with them. I did noticed the van park outside, maybe they are not issued any garden hoses. In any case they presented me with a bill for 114.00 dollars, since I already paid using the BIG DEAL coupon only 69.00 dollars, I ask what was the other 35.00 dollars for, I was explain that since my house is a three family home they had add the surcharge for the height and the use of saftey equipment. They never used any safety equipement while on the job cleaning gutters, my daughter never saw any safety equipment being use other than by garden hose. I learn a valueable lesson on gutter cleaning and I am sure I will not be using this service again

Purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List for cleaning my windows. I was very disappointed with their services. They only cleaned the glass windows and screens. They refused to clean the window sills and frames around it. When I told them I want them to clean the window sills and frames, they said it's not included in the Big Deal. But the website on Angie's List states that the window sills and frames are included. What's the point of having them clean the windows when you have to clean up after them? I felt cheated, paid $260 for something I could have done myself. The crew seemed hurried.

So purchased the deal and called to setup the appointment. It took four calls and finally they called me back. When they called me back they said well my house has more gutters then the standard size that they do for the $69 charge and they are going to have to charge me $35 additional. After arguing with them they said they would only charge me $15. I told them if you read the fine print (see above) that I should not be charged more because my house is only is 2,300 square feet. But they insisted and I was told that I couldn’t get my money back from the big deal. But now that I see someone who wrote a review did get their money back, so next time I will insist I get my money back. It also appears that Angie’s list didn’t do a very good job at vetting these contractors. But that’s neither here nor there now. So I had the work done. On The Spot came out to my house on the date they said they would. I was not home so I did not see the work done. They said they completed the job and when I inspected it they did what they said they were going to do. But there was one area where there was some very minor debris left and there was also a small mess left on part of my siding. Other that they did what they said they were going to do with the actual gutter cleaning. I never got the”15% off gutter guard installation coupon”. Not that I plan on using it now. I was also told I would get a complimentary roof, chimney and gutter inspection which I never got. On top of all this as final kick in the pants they sent me a bill for $89.88. Look I understand that companies want to get paid for their work. BUT don’t say one thing in the add and another on the phone. And you don’t need double charge me. I don’t think I will be using them again.

I am a new home owner and my gutters in the back of my house are extremely dirty. On the front of my house I was able to get a ladder and clean them but I am currently in crutches so decided to take advantage of the Angies List Big Deal coupon for this company to clean my gutters as the rain was falling off my roof and causing damage to my driveway. First off the coupon for 69.99 came with an additional charge right off the bat. I did not mind this as it was still a good deal as I was looking for gutter cleaning and most charge around $120. The service was prompt, the scheduling was easy and they even called to reschedule as the first date was during a thunder storm. The people came and started working immediately on my gutters while I was in the house. The front looks great. They cleaned them and used a vacuum to clean up any additional mess that was done. The back was a different story. They tore off an elbow that was coming from one of my top level gutters to a lower level gutter. This was fine as the elbow was spewing water (broken) and also completely clogged. They informed me that the run off was working without the elbow. After they left, it started down pouring so I decided to hobble outside and check the gutter. The down spout in the back was still clogged (no water was coming down) and water was shooting from the top level gutter down over the bottom level gutter (which was clogged) and hitting my driveway still. If they do not provide attention to detail on a simple service such as gutter cleaning I would not go back to them for anything else.

They did a fantastic job, the crew was very careful with all of the landscaping and plants that I have around my property. I was very impressed and their price was half the price of the other estimates I received.

Very poor performance. Company uses a calling service to handle inquiries. Got call back and agreed to service date 3 weeks out. Did not show up. When called, the company said I had been scheduled for the day BEFORE but they could not make it. Agreed to make-up date. No one showed up or called. THIS COMPANY CAN NOT HANDLE ANGIE'S LIST VOLUME. DO NOT USE - THE LOW PRICE IS A MISLEADER - AVOID!

This service provider was trying to charge a fee per floor of house. This was not in the agreement that was explained with the deal. UPDATE: James from On the Spot called to follow up on this review and explained that Angie's List did not include the appropriate fine print in The Big Deal. He offered to clean the gutters completely free to make up for the oversight. I appreciate that, and his crew will be at my house to clean the gutters this weekend. I will update my review accordingly when the work is complete.

Once the management became aware of the difficult situation I was having (they were hard to get ahold of and there were some discrepancies about the coupon), they couldn't have done enough to rectify the situation. They cleaned all of my windows.

I called them several times, left a messages with the answering service, and they have not called back. I canceled my Big Deal was disappointed. They did not seem very informed about the Big Deal and what it was about.

I purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List and called this company to set up my gutter cleaning. They proceeded to tell me that there would be an additional $15.00 charge for the service. My house is under the square footage listed in the Big Deal and they still wanted to up charge me. I gave Angie's List a call and got a refund for the Big Deal because I don't want to use a service provider that is going to charge me more that what was agreed upon.
