They were very efficient, and showed up right on time. I thought their work was good, I have no complaints.

Everything was good. They were timely and professional. Larry is the architect. They were in the process of planning for my outdoor kitchen and deck. I will use them in the future.

They seemed to have done a good job doing the actual gutter cleaning. I used them through an Angie’s List coupon. The coupon was for a predetermined length of gutter, about 1000 feet or something. What was cool about them was that when I called to make the appointment, they actually could use satellite technology to look at my house and measure the gutters. While I was on the phone with him, I told him that I have a deck and he told me that he was looking at the house across the street. They told me that the gutters fell within the predetermined length, that they were good for the coupon and that there weren’t any extra charges. There actually were no hidden charges, which I thought was very good. They actually did not show up when they were supposed to. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

Guy who came was free-lance working for the company. I asked if he had enough jobs to make it worthwhile and he said no. I gave him a good tip and suggested he ask about work at the construction site next door.

Setting up the appointment was easy. The person was professional. The services performed were lacking. The gutters were not fully cleaned. The downspout of one of the gutters was left covered with debris. Debris was left around the yard (it only took a leaf blower to clean it up). They were supposed to offer an inspection of the gutters and roof, which they did not do. It seemed like my house was the last one for the day and they were in a hurry to get home.

All in all I would say the experience was somewhat neutral. The color of the siding that they replaced didn't match the house and maybe a couple of other nuances were wrong; but nothing too terrible. They offer a discount coupon and I suggest to other people that they use that. I will use them again in the future.

I responded to an Angies list deal for gutter cleaning. The gutters were cleaned sometime in July. August 14 was the first time I was home after the cleaning during a rain storm. No water flowed from the left side leader near the steps. To the best of my knowledge water had flowed before the cleaning. I notified the company and was told that the time for warranty service had passed. However they offered a $10 coupon good on the next cleaning. Needless to say that is not going to happen. The heavy rain of Sunday Aug 21 reinforced the fact that this company did a terrible job. Rain was stream off the gutter approximately 8 inches away from the leader spot as well was running off the sides of the gutter. This sounds a lot like another comment that they just pushed the debris into "the corner." I will have to get this gutter cleaned!!!

We got the big deal for this service. We had a serious issue with them. They never showed up the first day. They said they were going to show up on another day which they did. The guy who came out said that if we don’t write a report on Angie’s list, he would do it for free. When they came back the second day, they did an okay job. They were supposed to come the second time to finish it and that’s when we told them not to bother. They offered free service but we got what we paid for. They refunded the special deal rate. They were just terrible. They were not responsive and they barely get back. They should improve about everything being in business. They should call back and make an appointment, and also stick to the appointment. There should be a good communication basis. We will not use their services again in the future.

I contacted the company since they were running a Big Deal on Angie's List. Since I had more windows in my house than were included in the deal, I asked them about the cost for the extra windows. They explained that there would be an extra cost for each additional window, which was fine. I was hoping not to do the basement windows (I could easily do those myself), but they did insist that the deal only held if we did all the windows in the house, so I agreed. I needed the windows done before my son's graduation party in a few weeks, but we were able to agree on a date shortly before the party. The problem arose the day they were supposed to arrive. When I hadn't heard from anyone confirming the appointment either the day before or the day of the appointment, and it was getting close to the end of the time frame when they were supposed to arrive, I called the company and asked for confirmation that someone would be arriving and an approximate time estimate. I left a message, since there was no answer, and a while later a receptionist got back to me. I explained the situation to her, and she said she'd have a dispatcher call me. It was quite a while before I got a call from the dispatcher, and then it was to tell me that the person who was supposed to clean my windows had had a medical emergency arise the day before and wasn't able to make any of his appointments. Obviously such things happen, and I could understand that they didn't have anyone to fill in on short notice, but, as I pointed out to the dispatcher, someone should have called me to inform me of the situation -- preferrably the day before, but certainly the morning of the appointment. I would have been hanging around the house til night time if I hadn't called to check why they were running late. As it was, I wasted a good portion of the day hanging around the house when I had many other errands I should have been running. Since the initial appointment was for the weekend before the party, I was very upset that I wouldn't be able to get the windows cleaned before then. They did, however, arrange to have someone come out during the week as the first appointment, so I didn't have to stay home from work for a day waiting again. This time, they did come on time and did a good job on the windows. My issue is not so much with the quality of the work (which was certainly good if not outstanding), but with the lack of communication and professional handling of the initial situation.

They came a day early. I wasn't home. All the debris was left in the yard. I called and they came back within the hour to clean up.

I had to give them a credit card to secure the cost of cleaning any extra windows but they did not clean anything beyond the coupon. They ended up charging me an extra $300. I called they said they would remove the charge but did not. I had to call the credit card company. The billing was horrible and a total hassle it took me many phone calls until I just gave up. Be careful about the billing is my warning.

Originally called to have gutter cleaning done but always had a couple of other small projects we decided to ask about and if they would be able to do them. An appointment was made for the estimate, a representative arrived on time and recommended NEW gutters (we weren't really surprised) and also gave estimates for replacing wood flashing and rebuilding a small two-step stairway. Prices seemed reasonable and we agreed to contract with them. We were told a contract would be sent to us and the work could commence once it was signed. The contract was slow in coming and when it finally arrived, the "guarantee" was blank. Calls and a letter to the office asking they send or fax a new contract with the guarantee spelled out did not arrive. What we did receive was someone else's contract with their credit card number on it! We quickly called the office and shredded the contract. We again asked for another contract. We have never received it. They were professional right up until the contract mess. Naturally, at this point, we will not be using them.

This was one of Angie's Deals. Price was listed at $69.00 for whole house. When we called on 7/19/2011 to make appointment, we were told that there would be an extra charge of $30.00 because the $69 price quote was for a one story house and ours is a bi-level. We indicated that this should be mentioned in Angie's Deal listing. We made the appointment on 7/19/2011 for gutter cleaning to be done on 7/27/2011. However, the next day, 7/20/2011 truck pulled up and they performed service one week earlier than appointment set date. We were not notified that they were coming. Not sure how long job should take, but would estimate they were here for less than a half hour.

Excellent service. We received a call that the truck was on the way to our house. The crew was very professional, using a ladder to safely reach the more inaccessible windows. We must say that the windows were as clean as they were when installed 49 years ago. Because new louver shades had been installed recently, two storm windows were not accessible. The crew worked around the problem, permitting me to clean them after they had departed.

I got them through the big deal. It was a $125 deal for $250 for 20 windows, but we have 25 windows so we paid extra. They did a good job and I would use their service again.

They did a good job for the price. They missed a couple of spots here and there, but overall it was well-worth the money.

My initial contact went very well. I called the contact number I was given and the receptionist gave me a different number where I could reach the contact person. He was not there, but the person who answered was able to set up an appointment for me. I called the office on the appointed day to check the time the window washer would arrive. I was given a window of time, which turned out to be quite accurate. Junior was the window washer who came. He washed all 22 windows himself and did a thorough job on each one. I was pleased with the service.

They were suppose to come out between 8-12 and they said they could not find a parking place, and that was the last time i heard from them. On the twenty they were suppose to come back out and they never came or never called.

I think they are extremely busy, it was very difficult to get in touch with them. I was on hold for half an hour after I left several messages and did not get a call back.

I contracted this service provider due to the specail offer advertised in Angie's List.(AL). The offer was $250 to power wash your home. So I clicked on the offer on AL, and was provided with the contractors contact information. I called them, and a young man answered the phone. He was very professional, and knew what he was talking about. However, once we started to discuss my home, I quickly learned that the $250 special price, was for a one-story 1,500 sq. ft. home. Now, my home isn't very big, but it's bigger than 1,500 sq. ft. (which I think many houses would be). My home is 2,324 sq. ft. and two-stories. So, if I wanted the job done (which I did), I would have to pay $206 extra for the sq. footage over 1,500, and a surcharge of $150 to cover the second-story. So the $250 deal I thought I was getting, quickly turned into $606 before tax. Since I needed the work, and could afford it, I approved the work. They did a good job, and I was satisfied with the work. But before I would use them again, I'd get other estimates.

I had seen the gutter cleaning offered as a Big Deal for $69 in early May and figured if it was being offered by Angie's List, the company must be okay, so I signed up for it without even looking at the company's record. For whatever reason I waited a few weeks to call them even though my gutter's badly needed to be cleaned (I own a colonial, so while I do the lower level gutters myself, I have neither the ladder to reach, nor the inclination to go up that high and clean my top gutters). Before finally calling I read the company's reviews and I'll be honest, what I read made me a little nervous. However, I have nothing but GREAT things to say about them. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone to book the appt was very courteous and professional and he was able to give me an appt the very next day. The guy who came to clean my gutters, I think his name was Joe, was just as professional and courteous. He began by asking if I had any particular trouble spots I wanted special attention to, which I did as I have a big maple tree which hangs over part of the roof. Once he was all the way up he came back down to tell me to put the roof up on my convertible and close the windows in the other car so he would not get debris in them as he was blowing out the gutters. One report I had read said this company left a mess after cleaning their gutters. Maybe that person got a bad service rep, but Joe did a FANTASTIC JOB of cleaning up whatever came out of my gutters. My yard was just as clean as it was before Joe did the work. If On the Spot reads this, I can't say enough nice things about Joe. I can't imagine cleaning gutters is all that fun of a job, but Joe was such a friendly guy and he did a great job!!!

at first, we were really happy with OTS. the estimator was prompt and professional. a week after the work was completed, the problem seems to have been resolved (no water remains in the gutters) and we will continue to monitor the solution over time. my biggest complaint is with the inconsistent communication experienced working with OTS. a few weeks after the estimate, we decided to move forward with the gutter repair (there was some back and forth with the condo about additional work that was being considered and i will confess to some confusion from the building's end, which resulted in receiving multiple quotes). a 10% deposit was requested for the agreed upon work and a check was sent. a few days later, i noticed the check was cashed and expected a phone call in the next day or two (something to the effect that they received our deposit and would be following up). i didn't receive the expected phone call, so i called. i was told that the check was received and that someone would be calling me the following week. about 4 days later, i still hadn't heard from OTS, so i called and spoke with them. i was told "good news! we have an opening tomorrow" -- while we didn't need to be there for the work to be completed, i would have preferred having the time to try to see if someone could be around. the foreman on the crew called me to ask me if i was home when they arrived. i wasn't, but it made me a bit nervous so i decided to leave work early to spend the afternoon at home. when i arrived, the crew was not there. now, in between the time when i decided to leave and when i arrived, it started to lightly rain, so i half suspected that they would not be there -- and i was right. however, i had no idea where/when they had left off -- so i called the office and was told that the crew couldn't work under rainy conditions. i have no problem with this point, it makes complete sense that for safety reasons people can't be on ladders while it's raining -- but someone should have called with the status. i was told that they would either come back later on that afternoon (if it stopped raining) or it would be rescheduled for the next day. i asked specifically for an update by the end of day. i did not receive a call. the next day it continued to rain. we left for a weekend trip. on saturday, i received a call from the crew foreman again asking if i were home and stating that the crew was there to complete the work. i was incredibly irritated given that i had asked specifically when they would be there again so i could let the other condo owners know what was happening. then the work was completed, and everything seemed ok. the following monday, i received an email with the final payment request. on tuesday, i received a hard copy request and was left a message requesting that i call them back with information pertaining to my payment (check or credit?) -- since this is a condo-related expense, it has to be a check, which is a slower way for them to process money but this is non-negotiable. 5 working days after a 3-day weekend, i received another phone call asking about the payment. i understand that accounts receivable is an important element in a small business. however, given the lack of communication when i was most interested compared with this aggressive payment request tactic is not particularly consumer friendly. perhaps they should reconsider their deposit/payment structure for smaller, one-day jobs. as of today, i am happy with the work that was done and that an alternative (cheaper) solution was discussed with us at length. i would consider using OTS again -- however, i think the back-end office activities definitely need some fine-tuning.

The first time I called this company I was told someone would call me and they took my name and phone to make an appointment, I waited a week and nobody called, I called back and made an appointment for June 2, 2011and waited all day at my home and no one showed up. Again I called on June 3 and the company told me they had ran out of time on June 2,2011. I made a second appointment on June 6,2011 and again no one showed up. They told me that someone had come out and no one did, I was home all day. They also told me not only did they come out, they did clean the gutters out as well. I told them the gutters were not cleaned out and the company said okay and made another appointment on June 16, 2011. Again I waited and no one had showed up. The company did show up after that on a Saturday when I was at work and I told them to not do the work because I was not there.

Company was promoted as a "Angie's List Special' with a reduced price for gutter cleaning. The two workers arrived on time, but the gutter cleaning consisted of their walking on the roof and aiming water hoses to splash the debris from the gutters. They did clean up the larger pieces of tangled leaves and twigs that were sprayed onto our lawn, deck and front steps. But they did not lift out the debris and there is still debris in the corners of some of the gutters. Dirty water and pieces of leaves were stuck on the walls and windows for us to clean up. I have never seen gutters cleaned this way.

I purchased a Big Deal through Angie’s List with this company for some gutter cleaning. They were unresponsive I had made an appointment but they never showed up or called. The price isn’t that great anyway, and I got my money back for it.
