Description of Work: Scotts Lawn Service has provided my lawn service and shrub/plant services for close to 10+ months and during that time my lawn deteriorated to its worst state in its 5 year's of existence! Misdiagnosed issues, uncontrolled fungus, and inexperienced technicians have all contributed to my yard's downfall. DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION! I have documentation from other lawn professionals and an arborist supported my comments. | |I also escalated my issues to their corporate location to no avail.

Description of Work: They have been coming regularly as scheduled, but the reason I hire a lawn service is to take care of the weeds, but in September I just decided to pull them myself because their treatment has not been very effective. Plus, they are always trying to up-sell...several months ago they called to say I had a disease in my lawn that would totally eat my grass if they didn't apply a treatment (which was $258). They basically have me over a barrel, so I had to fork out the dough, whereas when I signed up I was happy that the entire year was supposed to be about $250. The cost has more than doubled.

Description of Work: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with Scotts lawn service. After a few treatments my front lawn was very badly burned/browned out and needed to be reseeded. When the problem was noticed I called Scotts and the salesman I worked with said to water the lawn for a few nights which I did with no improvement. I then called Customer Service to advise them of the problem and let them know I wanted to discontinue the treatments. I was told a supervisor would be notified of the problem and I never heard back. | |Adding to my dissatisfaction Scotts was spot treating for weeds which never improved from their treatments. | |I've used Scott's seeds and products myself over the years without problems but I really got unlucky with their lawn care service.

Description of Work: This is for Scotts Lawn Service in Dover NH. Used them for a couple of years now to treat my lawn on a seasonal basis. Always timely, courteous and professional. Lawn looks great year after year and earns compliments. Would definitely recommend.

Description of Work: They never came to my home to do an assessment nor did the sales person seem at all intrested in doing so. After 6 months of service I saw no improvement at all in my lawn's condition so I ended my service contract with them and I'll never use them again.

Description of Work: I used Scott's for approximately two years for yard, trees and shrubs. They started off doing a really good job but progressively got worse about the last 9 months. I tried calling them - either no answer (with no answering service) or, if I left a message, no one would return my call. The last lawn treatment they did turned a large portion of my St. Augustine yellow. They did a tree bore treatment the same time and bores attacked my trees about a month later - I had to have an arborist come out to treat them. I left a message for them to call me with my concerns but didn't get a return call. They sent a survey which I filled out, gave them a poor rating and requested that someone call me. Again, no call. I cancelled my service after that and will not recommend them to anyone.
