They do two applications when they come for the regular lawn care. They charge $32 per application. They come two to three times a month. His price was very high in the first year. He did reduce a little bit.

I am not terribly happy with the service so far. I have had them for about a year, and I don't see much improvement with the yard. I tell them about it, and I get contradictory answers as to why my lawn has problems. If I can find another service that I could afford, I would go with them.

They require a four visit a year contract. They were very efficient and they gave a one pre-day courtesy call, so we know they are coming.

The service was great. They were very professional and had great workmanship. I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

I've had used Scott's for two years now. They knocked on the door one day and offered to treat my lawn for $32.00 a treatment. I was using Trugreen at the time and they charged $45.00. They have always been on time, friendly, and the results are great.

Dennis came over for a quote and received us in the show room at an appointment to hash out the details. We made a down payment, they ordered the windows and about 8 weeks later, as advertised, the windows arrived and they called us to set up the date to do the actual work. A team of four arrived on time, were as friendly and courteous as can be. They completed the work over two days. It doesn't take much to see how skilled the team was, they made the work look trivial and the end result is jsut astonishingly beautiful. And throughout the team was cheerful, controlled, cleaned up everything, I really cannot think of a single negative. Could not be happier!

The price has been in the neighborhood of $400 over the course of six to seven months. It’s based on the number of visits they make. I think they made around 8 visits. I seem to get decent results as far as my lawn and I give them credit for that. They give results, but I didn't like some of their practices. I would probably not use their services again.

I first hired Scotts to deal with my weed problem late summer/early fall last year 2010. I was really pleased with their work. After a number of their visits, the weeds went away and grass started to grow. Later, this past March 2011, I started to receive invoices from work that they began doing without my knowledge on my lawn (I later learned that I was on some kind of auto-plan that I hadn't realized was automatically given to me), but because I liked the work last fall, I didn't really mind. I went with it. After two visits from them within a 10 day period last month, I started to get very concerned about how fast the weeds were growing on my lawn. They were the most robust weeds of all of my neighbors on my block! So, I called them to ask if my technician could call me and talk me through what needed to happen. A week passed and no one called. I called again, and found out they had an incorrect phone number for me (someone hadn't provided them the updated number I gave during my first call). I was promised a call back and an in-person visit to address the growing weeds. I waited a week, and no one called. I then called again, pretty upset this time, asking why I hadn't heard back. I was told the technician had been calling me for over a week, and leaving messages, but I never called back. I confirmed my phone number in their files and they had the correct one. There was no way he could have been calling me. When I told the operator i just wanted to cancel the service, she seemed incredulous. I had to explain how poor the customer service was, and that I didn't feel that anyone really cared about my lawn needs. At this point she promised that someone would reach out to me, but I just couldn't let another week of the madness go by. I also wanted to avoid another visit from them, always accompanied by another invoice. I strongly recommend against using Scotts! Their business model allows for low accountability for staff. You can just get passed around while no one attends to your needs! UPDATE: 6/2011- A few days after I wrote this report I got a call from Joe, the manager of the local Scott's Lawn Care service. After a few weeks of playing phone tag back and forth, Joe and I connected by phone. He took the time to discuss this matter with me in detail, which I appreciated. I feel that he understood my concerns. We made a plan to move forward with Scotts attending to my lawn as it had last fall. And I must report, since they've been coming out over the past few weeks, my lawn has improved in noticeable ways. I'm gratified with this progress and am looking forward to a better relationship with Scotts. It still is upsetting that (I believe) I wasn't able to get this level of service until I wrote this report, but I do believe they are trying to make things right. And it's a good value for this service. I'll keep this updated as things progress.

I have absolutely no complaints! There are no appointments required. They leave an invoice every time about what they did and how much it cost, and it's always been very helpful and right on target. They also include comments about what they think I'm doing right or wrong in my own lawn care.

I love this place. They are a bigger company in this area, but you can't beat the work they do. They are just fantastic and I like them a lot. I would highly recommend them to everyone. They just do a great job.

Scott's Lawn Service did an awful job on our 1/4 acre yard. I was very disappointed in them. The workers were just too busy and were very careless. Our lawn looked terrible. They worked far too fast to do any quality work. I complained, but they didn't come back to re-spray my yard.

Scotts Lawn Service almost always shows up when they say they will (they call ahead to let me know when theyll be coming). They leave a detailed receipt with exactly what application was done that day. They have also aerated the lawn several times, but its not been tremendously effective.

When we moved into our house, our lawn was in terrible shape with tons of weeds, dandelions and grubs. I tried treating the lawn but without suitable results. After hiring Scott's for a year, our lawn is in great condition. We didn't need to be home for the lawn treatments, they would just leave a note on the door and a fertilized sign in the yard. When they did the lawn aeration, they forgot to do the back yard, but I called them and someone came out the next day to complete the service. The only reason we didn't hire them for the following year was to save money. It's easier to maintain a nice yard than fix a problem yard.

WE FOUND THIS COMPANY IN THE PHONE BOOK. WE HAVE ONLY USED THEM ONCE. THIS YEAR WAS HARD ON THE LAWN AND WE ARE GLAD THAT WE USED A FERTILIZER COMPANY. WE ARE NOT SURE IF WE'LL USE THEM AGAIN. THEY DID A FINE JOB.

I USUALLY WASNT HOME WHEN THEY CAME SO DID NOT GENERALLY SPEAK WITH THEM. HOWEVER, ON ONE OCCASION WE DID ASK AN EMPLOYEE OF SCOTTS WHO WAS DOING OUR NEIGHBORS YARD ABOUT OUR YARD. HE WAS NOT ASSIGNED TO OUR YARD BUT DID SOME WORK ON IT ANYWAY. THIS WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND HIS RESPONSIBILITY. I REALLY LIKED HIS TEAM WORK ATTITUDE AND RESPONSIVENESS TO ME, THE CUSTOMER.
