Description of Work: I contacted Roto router to have a clogged downspout drain cleared. I explained that I had to leave for work at 10 AM. I scheduled for the interval of 8 to 10 AM for the following day. Needless to say, Roto router never showed up. They never called me to say they weren't showing up. I called them twice, and spoke with a hassled service person who said that they just simply did not have a technician available. I believe they are very large company. I'm not sure how you don't have staff for the service calls that you scheduled

Description of Work: Our regular plumber couldn't come to our aid in the evening, but Roto-rooter answered our call. We were unable to use any water or flush any toilets without a backup. They arrived within a half hour of placing the call, cleared our drain, and by placing a camera down the drain discovered two long term problems with our system that our regular plumber had refused to address. They replaced the front pipe leading to the sewer which had been totally damaged by the roots of a large tree in the yard, and also discovered and replaced a bellied pipe under our garage which was causing our plumbing to bubble, clog, and sometimes backup. (Our regular plumber told us not to worry about these things.) The company worked so professionally, and with military precision completed the job within 10 hours, all on one day. Now, the powder room toilet flushes better than ever and the drains that were constantly bubbling downstairs, no longer do so. Our representative Mohammed couldn't have been nicer. He recommended a tree company that removed our tree for a great price and even offered to come and snake our line free of charge while we were waiting for the job to be done. Fortunately, we did not need to bother him, but we will always remember his wonderful customer service. It was a lot of money for us to spend, but in the end, I do feel that it was money well spent. It's great to have working plumbing again and not to have to call the plumber once a month. Roto-rooter did a great job for us, and I would definitely recommend them!

We called them out to clean a clogged drain the guy went all around our home telling us we had all these things wrong with our plumbing and was going to charge us $2000 for the work. We told him to let us think about it and he left. I called someone else to come and look at the drain and we paid $200 plus the materials so all and all $350. And we were told rotor rooter was trying to take advantage of us and charge us for work we didn't even need.

Description of Work: Old faucets from prior owner were rusted/corroded so badly that even this tech had issues getting it off and cleaned up. Our handyman had major issues with this problem. The tech did an awesome job. Very nice. Very professional.

Description of Work: Arrived within 30 minutes on a Sunday. Retrieved the snake I lost down the waste pipe and found my clog and cleared it. Very happy. The price was steeper than I expected, but it always is for these kinds of things. I was happy to pay the price considering the problems that it solved and the day of the call.

Description of Work: Listing claimed to have 24 hour emergency service. I called needing a plumber at approximately 1:00 a.m. I got a live person who answered the phone but told me there was no emergency service available..

Description of Work: Called to clear sewer pipe leading to street. Was told that I would not be charged extra because of 4th of July holiday, but the cost was $500 for less than one hour of labor. Felt taken advantage of.

Description of Work: We had a huge problem with water and waste coming in our basement through our floor drainage, the mess the smell and the strain was too over whelming. We had called two other plumbers but one never called back and the other would show up.... I was a little worry about calling Roter Rooter because I assume that they were going to charge too much and would make us wait for days like the other plumbers we called. However, we decided to call and was taking care of by a customer service representative who took all our information and listen to our problems with our plumbing issues. The best news was that they were going to send someone within and hour, but he got here in 40 mins! The gentle that served us was great! He looked through our pipes and basement drainage and sat down with us to explain everything and our options. We finally were moving forward and the next day they started working on our plumbing problems. The workers that came to our home were awesome, respectful and very attentive to our plumbing problem. By the end of the day our huge issue was resolved! We are very pleased with Roter Rooter and would definitely refer and use them again!

Description of Work: WE HAD A SEWER LINE AND WATER LINE COMPLETELY REPLACED. THEY HAD TO DIG UP THE FRONT YARD AND CRAWL THROUGH A DIRT BASEMENT TO GET EVERYTHING TO WORK CORRECTLY.

Description of Work: WE HAVE CALLED ROTO ROOTER FOR ALL OUR EMERGENCY PLUMBING/DRAIN BACKUP NEEDS.
