Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I should have went with another guy. Roto-Rooter is totally too expensive. They did a good job. They were just a lot pricey. I would tell a friend not to go to them. They could improve on their pricing. This was not my first time using them. I first used them 20 years ago.

Upon investigation, the company identified the cause of leak. It was coming from the neighbor's water tank. They informed the owner, who later took care of his problem. It was a relief to discover the cause of the leak that had caused us so much distress.

They gave me an expensive faucet that I really don't like. Its a PlumbMaster and I really don't like it. I have to get it changed They could have given me a better faucet for $450. The faucet leaks. The best part is that its a lever its a turn in a somewhat modern style, but it's a lousy faucet.

They did a fine job. I spent $287. They came out the last minute and they solved the problem, figured out what was wrong and they were very helpful. My husband had a broken leg and he worked with them to figure out what the problem was. They came out after hours and he stayed for quite a while to figure out what was wrong and we were very impressed with them. His name was Axle.

They were fine! I would try to look around for someone else with better quality and better service. The technician that came just seemed like he didn’t want to be there. He was in a hurry, he did this, he did that and kept complaining the whole time. It was like he did as little as possible. Was pretty expensive for a half an hour’s work.

They had to do some work with the handheld shower. The shower head they installed was not satisfactory and they came back out yesterday to correct that. I am very very pleased with their service.

I give them top line for everything except for price, price they're kind of steep so probably about a 7.

It went well, but the pricing was high.

They told us it would be 2 hours and then at the end of the 2 hours they called and said it would be another 2 hours. We asked them to come in the morning and then they called in the morning and said another 2 hours. It took awhile. It was a long wait time. Once they got here, they fixed everything really fast. It was also a weekend. The guy really helped us out on price because my fiance was helping them out the whole time. When I called and made a complaint, they had the manager call me within 5 minutes and the guy that came out was really good, so they had good professionalism.

The technician that came out was wonderful! He showed me the camera in the pipes to show me the roots that had grown in. He was very professional and caring.

Couldn't get estimate over the phone. Was told we'd be told price when technician arrived. Quote given was $405 ! Told the plumber that was way too expensive for us. He consulted his supervisor & offered a cash deal for $250. We accepted. Drain was unclogged in less than 45 minutes. Plumber told us that the drain function was warranted for 6 months & we should be sure to use the warranty. Service was good & plumber was courteous and congenial.

Fast Fast Service, Smart, Fast Worker. Gave me a coupon. Will be back!

My sewer line was backed up and water was coming into my basement. I needed immediate attention. I contacted several well-reviewed local plumbers who were unable to help and wanted to schedule for next day service. Due to water coming into the basement now, next day service was not acceptable. I then decided to contact Roto-Rooter. I contacted them at approximately 3:50 PM on December 23rd. Their dispatcher gave me an ETA of 4:00 - 6:00 PM. A Roto_rooter tech arrived at approximately 5:08 PM. So, a little over an hour they arrived after the call in Philadelphia, during rush hour and the holiday. Pretty good. The tech, named Thung, was polite, professional, thorough, friendly, quick, efficient, helpful. The entire experience was very good. I would not hesitate to contact them again.

Roto-rooter and their serviceman, Rick, #2841, did an excellent job. Alocal plumber was leave a vm and get a call back 7 hrs later. A large local plumbing co was , we can't work on it for 24 hours and this after a very lengthy time on the phone. Roto-Rooter was responsive in a very timely manner and the work was excellent.

Steve the technician arrived on time and was very professional and friendly and answered all my question very politely. He cleared my kitchen drain. I would call roto rooter if needed again

Our drain overflowed this morning. We called Roto-Rooter and they came out in a timely manner. Mike Albuck was great. He explained everything. Was neat wore booties. Replaced everything he moved & gave us a written estimate for further work. I would highly recommend him to friends & family.

They were very kind over the phone... Set me up with a same day appointment... They let me pick the time which was convenient for me... They called me to let me know when the Technician was on his way... Even when the Tech. was held up in traffic they called to let me know... he was still within the time frame they promised... The Technician himself was very funny, friendly, courteous and respectful of my home... He even took his shoes off when he had to go up stairs to inspect the upstairs bathroom... He wanted to make sure he didn't track anything on my carpet... The job took less than 30 minutes... I had to use them 2 months ago in the middle of the night... and they were amazing...

It was stressfull, yet the pipe repair is done. I am blessed with good Home Insurance.

On time and punctual and clean. The price was too high for the service

A large dirt container had spilled and significant dirt accumulated in the patio drain, which eventually built up into significant clogging. In anticipation of forecasts calling for heavy rainstorms, I finally called Roto-Rooter the night before the rains were supposed to come. Initially, they said they would arrive within an hour. Although it actually took them 2.5 hours to arrive, the good part is that they continually called me to update me as to their status. I understand that services like plumbing cannot really have a predicted timetable, so all I ask is that I know I'm not being forgotten. Roto-Rooter did that, calling me every 30-45 minutes to tell me how many jobs were to be completed before mine, and then the actual plumber called me both upon finishing the prior job and upon arrival at my home. The service itself was terrific. The plumber, Akeem, was extremely professional and polite. When I explained the problem and when he did an initial assessment, he quoted a price of $385 and explained everything he was going to do. After I agreed to the price, he went out and he finished within 10-15 minutes. After he finished, he thoroughly tested the drain to make sure there was no more clogging. He then explained everything he did, and said that because the job was much easier and quicker than he anticipated, he would knock the price to $300. I could not be happier with the professionalism of everyone involved.

There price is high as a kite. It was a special kind of toilet. They ordered it and delivered it to us and it cost $800.00.

Its priced fairly and they did a wonderful job, and they back up the work that they do. Show up promptly.

The last time I had Roto Rooter in 2011, the same Technician #999, Thea came and he does an Excellent job, very professional and very experienced. When I had the drain problems today, September 26, 2015, I called the Philadelphia number, 215-943-6110 I requested Thea, Technician #999 and he did an A++ job once again. Thea came with another technician in training. He fixed my problems with water overflowing onto floor in basement from my main line and cleaned up before leaving. Very good at his job, very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend Roto Rooter and I would recommend requesting Thea, Technician #999 to all.

We had an emergency clog and they came out the same day I called (in the evening). It was nice to know they have professionals on call 24/7 to respond to plumbing issues at all times! The service provider was very friendly and pleasant to work with. Very professional. The first attempt at snaking the drain did not fix the clog, so he had to do it again. It was a relatively straightforward service appointment, but necessary because we do not have the tools to do it on our own! There is no way we could have reached the extent of the plumbing they did. Overall, a great experience.

I called Roto Rooter at 9:45 am today and tech was here by 10:15 am and drain was open and tech left by 11:30 am now that is fast service. Since the drain for the shower and drain for the washing machine are linked together every time I would do a load of laundry it would back up into the shower and it was getting worse. Draining slower and slower each time and I was getting tired of standing in water every time I took a shower. First the tech used the snake in the shower drain no luck so he switched and went in the washing machine drain first try it made a wrong turn and ended up coming out the shower drain. Finally on the third try the snake went the right way and finally found the clog I was so happy to see all the water get sucked down the drain. Thank you so much Roto Rooter to me it was well worth the price and the 6 month warranty.
