Co-ordinated with Dave to install faucet the same day that the new sink was installed. He provided a fixture that is far superior to anything found in "big box" stores at a competitive price. He arrived within an hour after we notified him that the sink was installed. We have used Dave in the past, and will certainly use him in the future.

Dave was honest about his time and very effieicnt. So while the hourly rate seems high the overall cost is reasonalbe. A good value becasue of the service and lack of hassle.

I would highly recommend Dave Harvey to everyone. I called him Sunday night about a leaking pipe in our basement. He called me back Sunday night to ask about the pipe and the leak. He aid he would come over as soon as he could on Monday. He called Monday morning and was at our house between other jobs he had scheduled for that day. He fixed our pipe and even repaired a toilet that we had issues with from another plumber. He is great very courteous and knowledgeable. I said to my husband after he left we have a new plumber:).

When we woke up on Saturday morning, we found water in our second floor laundry room and it had already started to seep through to the downstairs ceilings. The hose/valve on the washing machine was apparently shot. We couldn't reach the plumber we have used in the past, so we found Dave Harvey through Angie's List, we call him 7:45 am and he said he was sorry, due to a previous engagement he could not get out to us. However, this truly professional plumber was able to recommend another plumber in the area who we could call, talk about customer service and professionalism! We called the second plumber who was able to get out us quickly and solve the problem. Later in the afternoon, Dave Harvey called us back to follow up with us to see if we had been able to reach the other plumber. This is one professional plumber, he really cared. We will definitely call on him again if needed and will recommend him to our neighbors.

I left a message for Dave, on Saturday, on his phone mail. He promptly called me back and arranged to meet me at 8:30 A.M. Monday morning. He was very prompt and went out of his way to minimize the cost of the project, since this is a rental property. I've used Dave in the past and have always found him extremely professional and personable. I have never had any problems with anything he has repaired or replaced for me. I highly recommend Dave to anyone with a plumbing issue.

On June 24 I found a wet spot in my foyer ceiling. I knew it was not coming from spilled water from the shower or the tub grout around the front of the tub . I then, like I always do if it is a job for a professional, jumped to the internet and typed in Angie's List. The only way I know how to find an excellant service or repair person. I then called Dave Harvey Plumbing & Heating. We made an appointment and he arrived on June 25. He took his time to diagnose where the water was leaking from. The Tub valve had a small drip leak into the tub area, he checked further and figured the leak coming from the drain piping. He said he will order the part and get back to me. Then on 6 of July he called and made another app't to come Monday the 8th. He called to say he was on his way. Arrived on time and went right to work doing an excellent job of replacing the old drain piping with new. He then checked all connections and ran the water to make sure everything was good and not leaking. After packing up his equipment he cleaned up any mess on the floor etc. I also should add he changed his shoes each time he entered or left the house. He was very pleasent and personable to talk to. Like someone I had known for the last few years. He told me he does not hire any help because his customers want him. Now, I can continue packing as I sold my house and the new owners will have no worry about any drains leaking water. If you are reading this Dave, THANKS AGAIN!

Dave is truly a professional. I only needed his services for a small repair, but I got the same attention as if I was renovating the whole house. He responded promptly to my query, he estimated the cost, he was on time for the service call and the bill was exactly what he had estimated, no surprises. Finally, he left written advice on how to avoid having the same problem in the future. Refreshing experience.

It's a rare day that I can rave about a plumber, but Dave is the real deal. A Master Plumber who balks at not doing unecesary repairs, offering less expensive, yet equally effective options. A professional, punctual, personable Plumber who is so good that he has no need to advertise; strictly word-of-mouth from elated customers. His rates are competetive hourly + parts. No inflated in-the-book fixed prices that are the custom of full-page Yellow Page advertisers. I only wish that I had discovered him 32 years ago...

Dave is exactly what you want in a repairperson. He is responsive. He always calls back promptly and will do whatever he can to fit you into his schedule, especially if you are in an emergency situation such as having no heat. He works quickly, thus reducing labor costs. And he is thoughtful about what he's repairing. If it can be fixed rather than replaced, he will do what he can. We have an ancient gas boiler that gives us trouble from time to time. I don't have the $6K to replace it, but Dave's theory is, "It's a cast iron box with lots of components inside. So long as I can fix the components, there's no reason to replace the whole thing, if it's not in your budget." He's also honest enough to say once a certain flange goes, there's nothing more he can do, but I appreciate that he gets my situation and is willing to work within those confines. We are very thankful to have found Dave, and he will be our plumber/heating & AC person for years to come.

It went very well as usual with Dave. I am very happy with his service, punctuality, pricing, friendliness and willingness to answer my questions. He was also able to place a cap on my water heater. He checked the heating system and all the other gadgets down there as well. I am confirmed that I will be toasty all winter. I recommend him highly. After the first visit with my plumbing, I recommended him to my sister and brother-in-law and Dave was able to help out with their needs as well.

It went very well. It's hard to find good people and Dave is definitely good people. He was able to do everything confidently and professionally. He cleaned up and was able to get out right on time at the hour. I will be calling Dave again for any of my heating and plumbing needs.

I was looking for a plumber on a Saturday afternoon and Dave called me back within 15 minutes. As it turned out I figured out I did not even need a plumber before he called me back. What I thought was broken just needed tightening. However, I definitely look forward to calling Dave in the future for all my plumbing jobs!

I called Dave as he was first on my list going through Angie's List; I had picked out 5 as I needed service quickly but not an emergency. He called back within a few minutes and was able to schedule service the next morning. We agreed on between 8am and 9am, but he would try as close to 8am as he could. Unfortunately, it seems DPW/Water Commission decided to shut my street down that morning, with no warning to any of us on the street (I live on a dead end). I quickly went up to the police officer at the top of my block and asked if my plumber can be let through. Though, how ironic that was not lost on me. I was able to call Dave quickly and let him know what was going on, how to get to my street since the blocked off one side and to let him know he was be allowed to come down. As it turns out, he was on his way and woould be here around 8:10am. He got there and not allowed to bring the van down (as the street was shut down since they were about to dig). Dave had to lug allhis equipment down the street with him to my home at the end. He checked the tub, then my pipes in the basement, so how it all went. He was able to use his power equipment to clear the drain, check the sinks, had them run awhile just to make sure they all drained and nothing else happened. I was happy to find out it was a bad hair clog and not anything more like roots growing or something of the like. Dave was professional, friendly, punctual, reasonably priced and unfazed by all the DPW/Water Commission craziness (I was doubly embarassed between my drain and stagnant water and the street shutdown!). I will definitely call him again for any plumbing or heating needs.

Dave Harvey is very good and I like him a lot. He is getting very busy because he is getting so much response from Angie's List. He is very professional, returns your call right away, and he is very prompt. Dave does the job efficiently and his prices are very reasonable.

Dave was on time. Very polite. Very good at his job and very neat and tidy which is scored a lot of points with my wife and I. Dave ran a gas line from my basement up to my deck to power my grill. He was right on time, very courteous, professional, and a super nice guy. He went over the job and gave me an estimate, I agreed on the price and he got started right away. The whole job took a few hours and his work looks great. He informed me about the town permit process and walked me through it. I would absolutely use him again.

He was able to fix it and saved us tons of money. He was terrific, he really knew what he was doing.

He was Vey professional, prompt, neat and friendly. Dave also spotted a problem with a badly dripping Bath faucet and completely replaced it before it became a big problem. He is very trustworthy and i'm very glad to have found him.

Dave was recommended to us by a neighbor, who really liked his work. On the first visit, to install the sink hardware and fix the toilet, he found that some of the parts to the sink hardware that we had gotten were missing. He had substitute parts on hand, and was able to complete the installation. In both cases, he did a very neat and high quality job, and his price is very fair. Also on this visit, he noted that our water pressure was very low when the toilet is flushed, or when water is running. He took a look in our basement, and found that a combination of metals was used in the water pipe system, and corroded pipes were probably the cause of the low pressure. He gave us a quote for replacing the steel pipes, and indicated that the town would have to turn the water off at the mains outside, but he could coordinate that. We decided to go ahead with this job. Dave scheduled the town crew to perform the mains procedure, and everyone turned up on time (8 am). After the pipes were installed, he arranged for the water turn-on, and did a complete series of water pressure tests. He was exactly right - you could barely see any light at the end of the corroded pipes, and our water pressure is now "normal" for the first time since we've lived in the house. Finally, he replaced the plumbing under our kitchen sink, which was also weak, leaky, and corroded, and again did a great job. Besides the quality of his work, he is very personable, and made friends with our dogs (our dogs also liked him!).

Dave is the best plumber I have seen. He is thorough and truly knows what he's doing. This is the second time I have used his services and has done a quality job in both instances. He also uses high quality parts that will last for years. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dave came to do some heating work. I asked him to look at a plumbing issue that turned out to be a big job. He was extremely helpful, respectful, hard working, honest and fair. We could not ask for anything more. He took care of a leak before it turned into a disaster. We are very, very grateful that he was willing to spend the time to deal with the problem today, even though it was not the main problem that we called him for.
