SUPER EFFICIENT, QUALITY, FRIENDLY!

Not only were they quick and straight to the point, but they were also DETAILED, BRIGHT and professional! For a price of around $1,400, this was definitely worth it! There were NO extra fees, no TRAVEL fees or anything. It was all labor and when the movers arrived on site + unloaded into my new home here, they were both fast AND careful. I ordered them pizza & was happy to feed them lunch! Thank you so much Moving of America and I will gladly contact you guys again when I upgrade to an even bigger home for my family! I definitely recommend Moving of America.

We got Ripped Off. The movers arrived on time and did a good job of moving everything. They finished in 5 hours. However, the estimate from their Representative Galileo was for 8 hours. The problem came when the movers insisted on being paid for 8 hours. I told them that I would not pay for 8 hours since it took exactly 5 hours. The lead mover called Moving of America and came back with saying that there was a 6 hour minimum and insisted on being paid $1,374.00. He did not give me credit for my $98.00 deposit. To break things down, the estimate for our move was $185.00 per hour. The estimate also states that there is a 4 hour minimum. When you multiply $185 times 5 hours you get a total of $925.00 not the $1,374.00 that the movers would not leave our apartment without getting paid. We also had paid a $98.00 deposit. We should have only been charged $925.00 minus the $98.00 deposit which equals $827.00. $1,374.00 that the movers insisted on to leave our apartment minus the $827.00 that we should have been charged equals $547.00 that we were overcharged. A day or two after the move I called Galileo about this and he promised to look into and get back to me. He did not. I then sent an email to Galileo which was about 2 weeks ago. He has not responded. Do not use Moving of America if you do not want to be ripped off.

Everything was perfect (movers on time, respectful and careful with belongings) until at the end the movers complained about the tip. So if you are hiring this company expect to pay 10% tip to the movers even if you provide lunch.

To start off, when calling customer service, they were very nice and welcoming. I spoke to a man named Joey. He did not pressure me to sign with them immediately. They welcomed me to shop around if I felt like it, but their price was competitive and lowest out of the 5 companies called. I asked for earliest ability to get my couches moved and they came the next day first thing in the morning. The guys who came in were very courteous, nice and placed my couches exactly where I needed them. No damage happened to my door, walls or tile. I was very pleased with this company and I will definitely call them back. Not only do I feel pleased that I called Movers of America but I felt safe that my furniture would be in perfect shape. Definitely worth giving them a call!

We went from one family to two separate places to live on two separate dates. They were amazing. No issues at all. Made moving so much more pleasant.

I recently left the area and I was looking for a reliable moving company to help me get everything out of my house. I called Moving of America and they sent someone out to give me an estimate immediately. The estimate itself was very detailed and covered all of the "what ifs" so I knew what happened if there was a problem. They showed up on time to move me out and even after moving items into my new basement and upstairs I'm happy to report that nothing broke! I requested protection for my floors and walls and it was all included in the package I purchased. My only complaint is that they showed up a little bit early and I was not fully prepared. If being early is the only problem I would say that is a good thing! Thank you guys.

Such a great company!! We hired them for a three man crew to move us from our two bedroom apartment on the third floor to a second floor walk up.They called and emailed us the day before, to confirm the time. They were prompt, friendly, fast, and handled our furniture with great care. We only went 15 minutes over the three hour estimate and they were actively moving the entire time. I couldn't praise this company more. We will definitely be hiring Moving of America for our next move.

I've had a recent job opportunity that made me move from New Jersey to Michigan. We've hired Moving of America to assist us in moving and they absolutely did a fantastic job. We've had a bunch of delicate objects such as plates, ceramics’, etc and they handled it perfectly. No chips and cracks. One thing that shined about the service was that it was an incredible deal compared to other companies I called. Plenty of companies were happy to give me a low quote over the phone. The person who helped me at Moving of America advised me that the cheap companies are too good to be true. When I did my research that was totally right. The company I almost went with was known for doubling their price with all sorts of hidden cost. I had NO hidden cost on the day of the move and it stayed very close to the estimate! Also all the materials and everything they needed was included for one flat price. Super simple which made me feel a lot better. They were very courteous and professional while talking and moving our stuff. I would choose this company in a heartbeat if I were to move again!

I expected moving to be stressful but Moving of America made it a wonderful experience. The guys were really nice, helpful and efficient. I paid for full packing and felt safe trusting them to handle all my stuff from start to finish. My mother’s grand piano was handled with great care. Moving of America was really my one stop shop. They even took some extra time to arrange my living room when I decided I wanted different pieces downstairs. I did not hear any complaining about my crazy request. There were no surprise fees and everything was moved safely. I was really impressed with their staff and service and would highly recommend to anyone moving in the area. They went above and beyond to help me get settled into my new home. Excellent quality and value! I would absolutely use them again.

Though I didn't have as much furniture as I'm sure most moving residents do, we had enough for it to be a hassle to do it ourselves. We did some research and this moving company seemed to best fit our needs. They got all of our boxes moved while leaving them in pristine condition. I was very happy that none of my furniture was damaged and they would end up looking exactly the same when they entered our new home. This moving company provided a great service to us that we couldn’t have done ourselves and they treated our belongings with the utmost respect which I am very grateful for. I’d recommend this company to anyone on any day if they asked me about it. I’m sure there wasn’t a moving company out there that could make them move as smooth and easy as this one.

I have a business where reviews are very important, so that is why I am taking the time to write this out for Moving of America. I have never moved an entire office before, but the team made it feel easy from the very beginning. It instantly felt less overwhelming once I met one of their visual estimators, Gal. They really took their time with me and I could definitely tell this company was highly experience in this field. My move involved a specialist for the cubicles, packing of many large computer monitors and moving a lot of heavy furniture. I was very impressed with how safe and efficiently everything was packed. I had extremely important rewards framed and was put at ease when I saw how Armando really took the time to custom-crate the frame. They do not just use pre-made boxes; my fragile items were custom-wrapped and I swear to you nothing was going to damage that wrap job! As anyone can see, the move was all within the estimate I received and everything was put back together EXACTLY the way it was originally set up in my old office. Everything was color coded for inventory purposes and because of this my office was back up and running the very next day, which is super important as a business owner! We cannot afford to take any unnecessary time off! If you are looking for a company with a friendly staff, extremely experienced movers and most importantly, no surprises on the bill, this is the company for you to use!

Moving, in my eyes, has got to be the worst thing on earth. I've moved at least 8 times in my life and I never used a moving company for fear of my belongings being mistreated and honestly not being able to afford moving services in the first place. This move was particularly hard for me. I just opened my own business and it was virtually impossible for me to do this move by myself. I had to give in and hire a moving company. After doing my research and checking out online reviews, I decided on Moving of America. Obviously, you can't go wrong with a company who has 5 star reviews all across the board. While talking with Joey and telling him about my situation, I felt comfortable in hiring them for my move. First he told me some background information about the company itself, then proceeded to give me a pretty reasonable quote, and that's when I knew I had to chose them. Armando and his crew showed up promptly at 8am ready to work, and wasted no time in getting right to the job at hand. It was like watching a well oiled machine at work. In no time my furniture was disassembled, wrapped, and on the truck. For speed of the job they did, it was nice to see the attention the detail that was paid to every piece of my furniture. All my items made it to my new home safely, in one piece, and put back together correctly. Every step of the way I was involved and nothing was done that wasn't run past me first. Moving of America definitely took the stress out of my stressful move! Thanks guys and a special thanks to Armando and his crew for doing such a great job!

PROFESSIONAL....COURTEOUS.....METICULOUS....I could list endless words and never fully convey how amazing everyone involved with this company is to work with. They were all so careful to protect everything. Roberto and his entire team helped to make this very emotional move for my family super pleasant. These guys were willing to do whatever was needed to make this move go smoothly. They were very professional, polite and punctual. Our belongings were treated as if they belonged to them. I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism. Every item was wrapped, taped and protected. They worked very quickly. AWESOME JOB!!!!!

I highly recommend Moving of America!!! We have known David Bloom, the owner, for many years. The last three times we moved, we trusted him and his crew completely. They were on time, professional, and completely accommodating--not to mention very affordable! They went out of their way to offer me extra help on a crazy moving day and even made an additional stop at my nearby storage unit to pick up my stuff from there too!! Despite the intense summer heat, they worked quickly and with smiles on their faces. You don't have to worry about your property in their hands. They are careful and meticulous in their wrapping of your furniture and in loading their trucks. These guys know what they're doing. Big or small, near or far, they will not disappoint!!

I have moved many times over many years and have almost always had one problem or another with the mover. Not this time - I just used Moving of America and it was a breeze. If you want a fairly-priced, zero-stress experience, they're the people you want to call. Dolores was completely delightful and very helpful. The three movers were professional in every way: pleasant, extremely careful with my things and didn't waste time. And there were no price surprises at the end. Great experience and great movers!!!

My Fiancé and I had an incredibly stressful time purchasing our new home in and decided last minute to treat ourselves by hiring movers to transport our stuff. I'm glad we did. Neither of us had ever hired a moving company, so we looked into a few. On the day of the move they sent us Roberto, Denis, and Bany, these guys were super-efficient in moving our things (particularly the random un-boxed items) and truly made the moving day so much easier for us. They wrapped our belongings so thoroughly, making sure they wouldn't get damaged and we couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. They were higher priced then all the other estimates we received, but I had a gut feeling that we made the right choice! I would highly recommend Moving of America to anyone looking for a trustworthy, honest, hardworking and professional moving company. THANK YOU!

It went really well! I was very happy and believe that I received really excellent service! This is how its supposed to work! You pay for a service and you receive it well.

These guys are fantastic - the shady movers we had originally booked for our move (without much research) cancelled on us last minute and I was a hot mess - all of our stuff wasn’t in boxes, a sick infant, elderly house guests, taking off from work, elevator booked at new building, etc. In a frantic state I called Moving of America and Joey answered at the first ring and said they had an opening! These guys were at my house in less than 30 minutes, despite the emergency booking, they were very helpful, understanding, professional and thorough. We are inexperienced movers having never moved homes before and had packed heavy items in large boxes which is the complete opposite of what you are supposed to do but Margarito and his team never complained, not even a tiny bit. Our entire move took a long time; most of the day, partly because of the problems mentioned above and some pieces of furniture that posed difficulty maneuvering them through our narrow stairway, but the crew was patient and did a great job. Not one plate or bowl arrived cracked. There was no damage to any of our belongings. I highly recommend this company and will trust them blindly with our next move. Thanks to Joey, Margarito and his team, and the entire office staff for saving the day, I’m beyond words as to how these guys handled our situation! We truly cannot thank you enough! If you need a reputable moving company, stop looking. You've found them.My experience was great. We had a last minute need for a labor only job. The job... was from California moving to New York City. These guys were super responsive with scheduling, pricing and making sure we were covered. It was over 90 degrees on move day, but that didn't stop them, they worked straight through. They were awesome movers and were super patient and nice. Customer service and professionalism was on point. They helped turn a stressful situation into a good day. I will recommend Moving of America to all of my friends and family. Thank you guys!

The guys at Moving of America were so great! David, the sales rep was extremely helpful, and walked us through the whole process. The movers came on time, carefully wrapped all of our bulky furniture, and moved everything very quickly. When they delivered the furniture to our new home, they put each item in the rooms we wanted and unwrapped all of the furniture. Would absolutely recommend them to others, and use them again!

I am very pleased with my experience with Moving of America. We were moving from Hoboken to Somerville [with 2 other pick up stops along the way]. Joey came to do an assessment at our apartment based on the amount of stuff we had. He estimated 10 hours for the move but admitted that he was likely overestimating, so I hoped it would be closer to 8 hours. They ended up coming with 5 men, which was a slightly higher rate but they assured us they would finish faster and so we decided to take their word for it, and I am VERY glad we did because we ended up saving money in the end. -The men had everything moved in 6 hours. Given the amount of stuff we have, this was incredible. -All of the guys were efficient and just also really nice guys, I honestly wish we could have tipped more -They provided us with a 50 FREE BOXES – any size- -They wrapped all of our fragile items and there was not a scratch left on anything we owned. Definitely would recommend using Moving of America!! They truly stand for customer satisfaction and with providing you quality service. DON’T HESITATE TO GIVE THESE GUYS A CALL – I WILL NEVER NEED TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY AGAIN, these guys got me sold!

I only wish there were more stars! Three of them showed up to move me, after PHENOMENAL customer services arranging and leading up to the day of the move. They were: A) on time, B) friendly yet ready to work and C) an amazing team that work great together. I was most impressed by their willingness to work past 6pm to get my complicated bed frame built and set up. I'm sure others would have given up and left extra parts lying around. Not this crew from Moving of America. Oh, and the price - for packing and unpacking - was so much better than others I got quotes from. Truly worth every penny. Listen, moving is stressful but not with these guys. I'm tempted to love every year now that I know about them. Ok, maybe not every year....

We had a great experience moving from Hoboken to Philadelphia with Moving of America. Margarito, Bonnie and Jonathan were absolutely awesome, professional, hard-working careful, and friendly they give us the highest quote and although it wasn't cheap it was definitely worth it! Quality Service at its best. Moving is always stressful and I hope we're done for a while but if we ever have to move again will definitely be using these guys!
