Fantastic. I was a little worried in the beginning when I visited the showroom because it was so crazy busy and I wasn't sure if I was going to get the attention I need. But the selection was tremendous and the price was something I could not find anywhere else. Their yard is filled with thousands of slabs that I can choose from. The best thing was after I picked out the slab, a guy actually worked with me on how to cut the slab in two pieces for my kitchen. Because each granite slab is not uniform in color and pattern, they made sure that the flow and the pattern matched exactly the way I want. The installation guys were great, too. They took their time to make sure that the countertops were all leveled and did not leave any dust or debris after they were done. ( The previous people I used for my old home did not use a vacuum when they drilled the holes for sink faucets and left dusts everywhere in my home!)
Description of Work: I remodeled the kitchen in our new home and shopped around 3-4 different places for countertops. All Granite & Marble had the most selection and the best price hands down. (I actually had changed the countertops in my previous home when I was trying to sell it a few months ago. I used a contractor that did the tile work and he arranged to have the countertops changed to granite through his supplier. I was not too happy with the work performed.) All Granite people did an excellent job in comparison and I was so happy. They even give you a free sink so I saved money there, too!

The workmen showed up promply for all appointments except one, wherein they screwed up their scheduling. The workmanship was acceptable with one exception noted below. The workers left the job site clean and in order. The exception to the quality of the workmanship was that one set of three fixture holes in a vanity countertop was slightly off center, this wasn't brought to my attention until 6 months after the installation. I didn't contact All Granite concerning this matter. The main reasons they didn't get an A rating for "Overall", "Price", "Quality" are as follows: "Price" : On the initial visit prices were negotiated for different quality material based on square footage, upon final pricing the prices quoted previously were marked up by an additional 20%. This is taking into account any variables due to size, options, and material quality. I discovered that the office utilized a different method for calcuating the area and therefore prices from that used by the sales floor. The consumer needed to translate the new pricing measurements into different measurement units so as to be able to compare apples to apples. This happened to me on each of the three occasions when different stages were contracted. I believe that the use of different measurement units by the sales and billing departments are a deliberate practice to cloud the actual prices. EG: THESE ARE NOT ACTUAL NUMBERS BUT ARE ONLY USED AS A SIMPLE EXAMPLE. On the first visit using an approximation of the required square footage we arrived at a price per square foot for material quality #1 of $20.00 per sq. ft. After templeting and while paying for the material I took the time to translate the square footage from the billing statement to a unit comparable with the sales estimate and found that I would be paying $24.00 per sq. ft. for the same material. ( This is after adjusting for a number of variables such as material, options, etc.) The consumer MUST take the time to translate any different measurements so as to assure that you are paying the actual negotiated price.
Description of Work: Installed 2 new Kitchens countertops ( approx. 15 linear feet each) and 5 bathroom vanities, 2 single sink and three double sinks, in a newly renovated Brownstone plus 2 new Kitchen countertops ( 1-15 Lin. Ft. & 1-10- Lin. Ft.) in another. Their selection of Granite and Marbles was very large, over 800 slabs. They provided the vanity sinks and would have also provided the kitchen sinks but I chose to use my own as their's were of inferior quality.

Very quick and easy. Go pick out your slab, get a template and schedule an installation. Remember it's your job to clear out the old counter and prepare the new. They will do this- but it's extra.
Description of Work: New Granite countertops were cut and installed by this company. I am very pleased with their work. While, at first I thought the price was just mediocre(they charge more if you live in NYC), when you factor in they give you a high quality free sink in the deal, I think I got a good deal. Their work is excellent. I gave them a B for responsiveness because the guy who wrote up the order was not responsive- he made me feel as if I was bothering him. However, every other person I dealt with there was responsive and helpful.

We had a good experience dealing with this company. After we picked a slab, they sent someone out to take the templates and asked us to come back the next day to make sure that the individual pieces are cut out to our liking (to approve their positioning on each slab). The countertops were installed two days later. The crew was professional and made sure that everything was performed to our satisfaction. One of the seams by the sink was slightly more visible than the rest, which I noticed after they already finished the work. When I called to inquire about what can be done to make it look better, they sent someone out the next day, who adjusted the color. Overall, I think their people know what they are doing, even though they can be a little rough around the edges, and I would recommend this Company. My parents also ended up using them around the same time and had a positive experience.

It was amazing that they had a whole yard full of slabs. They first gave us an estimate and then we chose the slab. They had samples of each slab that we took home to look at it in our kitchen. Then we went back and placed the order. They came and took the old one off and then we chose which area of the slab we wanted. Three days later they came and installed it. It was excellent. They were very quick with a 5 days turn around because it is a huge operation. They are very efficient. I was really happy with the selection because it was a one stop shopping thing. The price was reasonable. I would use them again if need be.

When we walked in to the Ridgefield Park location, we were ignored for a long time even though several employees were completely idle. After having to ask for assistance, the gentleman took our design and reluctantly took us to see some granite slabs. Scheduling the templating was easy, and the templater was prompt and efficient. They arrived for the installation after the end of the stated installation window. They immediately began moving furniture around without asking, and pulled the refrigerator out to the point of almost breaking the ice maker supply connection. The granite they brought with them was broken across the sink hole. They noticed this outside, but installed it anyway. While we were discussing what to do, the other installers were wandering around the kitchen and living room, picking things up, looking at tools, rifling thorugh a stack of magazines on the table. I noticed this and immediately made them remove the granite and leave. Back at the store, we picked out a second piece of granite, and they promised installation in two days. The service manager called me back the next day, only to say that the installation appointment was in four days, not two. After negotiating, we got it to three days. The second piece of granite arrived broken and with the sink hole in the wrong place by 3". Their solution to this problem was to ask me to move the sink (which i did not do because the sink is cast iron and framed in sturdily). Again, I had to call the office. They offered to bring back the first piece of granite and "repair" it, promising it would look as good as new. I let them try, stating that they'd have to take it away if I didn't like it. The repair guy was very capable and did a good job, such that the original crack was invisible. They packed up and left. I would never, ever let these people do work for me again. Not only can't they handle their own product correctly, but they happily took full payment from me and delivered a broken product. Twice. And I ended up with a broken product. The installation crews were rude, made a horrible mess in the house, and didnt' clean it up. I honestly feel like I paid them off just to be done with the whole experience.

Very good, not only are they the most competitive company around, they were able to install the granite we had picked out on Saturday by the following Thursday. Having sent someone to measure on the Monday in between. They have a huge yard with over 800 different types of granite and marble to choose from. Their price was hands down at least 15-20% less than anyone else I could find.

FOR THE PRICE I THOUGHT IT WAS OKAY, AND THE TIME IT TOOK THEM TO PUT IN THE COUNTER, WELL, IT WAS PRETTY QUICK. THEY CAME OUT AND DREW A TEMPLATE, AND THEN THEY CAME BACK WITHIN THE WEEK AND INSTALLED THE COUNTER. WE THINK IT LOOKS GREAT.
