Precision Overhead Garage Door Service

The job was perfect from start to finish. My installers Shane and Prince were extremely professional, thorough, and knowledgable. I love their attention to detail which speaks of fine craftsmanship.

We had an incredibly good experience with Precision Garage Door this week. Our garage door separated from the track and the supports broke loose from the wall of our garage. I called Precision and then sent a technician, Danny Salas, to our home to repair the door. He was excellent and fixed the door in no time. He was courteous and very efficient. We could not be happier with his work. Even better, Precision reminded me that they had done work on our garage door in 2017 and they covered the entire repair under their warranty from that previous call. Excellent experience all around! We too are customers for life!

The tech (Ethan) was very helpful. He inspected and explained all the elements of my 35 year old system and outlined all my alternatives and what they would cost. In the end I had him do the minimum to get the door working again, although he recommended some additional work. After thinking about it, I will have him return to do some of that work. He was clear about the safety issues involved, but there was no hard sell and I appreciated that. I would have no hesitation about recommending Precision.

Called Precision Tuesday night and was easily able to make an appointment for Wednesday morning. I also received confirmation emails from Precision as well with the booking information. Wednesday morning comes and I am called by the technician Danny Salas with an arrival time, right in the window i was provided. Danny arrived on time and quickly went to work. Danny was extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and personable and took the time to answer all of my questions. It turned out that a lot of the other hardware/parts for the garage door opener was in similar condition after 10 years and we agreed that we would replace it all, all but the motor really. The work was done quickly and neatly- you would never know he was there. We tested the door to insure that the repair worked. Danny was great- I highly recommend using him and his service.

I just moved and didn’t know anything about the garage door except that I couldn’t open it from the outside. Brian was able to determine that the unit was from the 80s. He tried to troubleshoot the opener that the previous owner left but was unable to. He recommended a new motor and advised to keep an eye on the other parts of the door but we would be good to go for the short term. I really appreciated his patience (I’ve never had a garage and knew nothing about them) and kindness. He was on time, called when he was on his way and worked quickly. I also appreciated that Precision had the parts to do the job on the spot instead of trying to schedule another appointment. I will hire them again to replace the rest of the unit when needed.

Appointment given shortly after call. Danny the technician called to say he was on his way. Arrived when he said. Explained my options. Installed new springs and safety cable in less than an hour.

I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. The technician gave me a call in advance and arrive right on time. He quickly replaced my old opener, and he made sure everything was working properly before he left. Excellent service.

First rate. Options given on repair versus replacement. Job was done quick and cleaned up perfectly. The new opener puts our last two to shame and I would recommend Precision.

Very professional staff and reponsive customer service. On the day of the installation, the driver sent me a link to a virtual map so that i could see where his truck was on the way to my house. This was very convenient and helpful. The Intallation service person was Brian; he did a wonderful job!

I had a great experience with Precision when they replaced all the garage door openers at my house. My four year old son wanted to watch some of the work and Chris K. was great to him, answering all of his questions and explaining what he was doing throughout the process. Despite the audience, Chris did great work and I would recommend this company. They followed up by sending some swag to my son including a Precision winter cap. Great experience.

Precision was the second company I called as my garage door was not working. The first company never showed up. I made the appointment they communicated right upto the serviceman. The serviceman, Danny Salas, called 20 minutes prior to his arrival. He was confident and knew right away what needed to be completed. He went to work and within 45 minutes everything was working. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Moving forward Danny will be the only person I would call to help me with the door. I will definitely recommend Precision. We had been looking to do a garage door repair for several years. After an unfortunate experience with another Angi service provider (see our other reviews if you want to read the details), we ended up delaying our project for several years. Fast forward to early 2020 and our garage doors were in pretty bad shape - possibly even dangerous. We came back to Angie's List and started the process again. We met with Precision to go over the repair options, and then after seeing the (high) cost, we decided to look at biting the bullet and replacing the doors. This option was far more money, but we decided it made sense given the age of the doors. Precision was not cheap, but did an excellent job, and showed up when they were supposed to, and were easy to work with, even given Covid. Please understand that Precision is not the low cost provider. However, they are easy to work with, do an excellent job, and provide an all around great service. After 1.5 years we are still quite pleased with the work done, and are glad we made the decision to work with these folks.

I called Precision in the morning and by the afternoon my doors were fixed. Tino was the technician that came and he was excellent. He is very professional, informative and courteous. He diagnosed the problems with my doors and gave me a quote. I accepted the quote to fix the doors but not the motor. The work too approximately 2.5 hours. The price came out to $891 but it was worth it. I highly recommend using this company to fix your garage doors and if you do request Tino.

Work was excellent. We would definitely use them again.
