Description of Work: Installed a sump pump connection I had already for them to simply attach to PVC piping I assumed they would charge me approx $100 to do the instal as took 5 minutes to do. I had this all ready to replace by a previous plumber and nothing was needed expect to remove old and put on. I didn't do myself as had knee surgery and couldn't bend. Have done in past in under ten minutes

Description of Work: I've used Ben Franklin in the past and the bill was very high. A few neighbors told me not to use them for that reason, but at the time, it was an emergency. I had the same problem earlier this year, but used a different plumber and the price was significantly lower.

Description of Work: They replaced a hot water heater for me once. They're reliable and you can get them quickly. They do a good job, but you do pay for the service because they're not cheap. I do recommend them if you want good service.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times. Sometimes when I had a planned job and sometimes for emergency work. All times work was completed to exceed my expectations. They are both prompt in returning phone calls, showing up for work and giving estimates. As far as the price goes, I'm not sure what other plumbers charge but you do get what you pay for. I'm not sure if they were any more expensive than other plumbers but I trust them and that means a lot to me. I know that if I call them they will be there and do the job right. Plumbing is not something you want to skimp on. I did have a problem with a clogged toilet, I had a written estimate before he went any further on the job and when it was completed, he even worked with me on the price. The cleanup was great, better than when the job was started. Would definitely recommend this company

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. They were quick, courteous and explained things well. I will say they were a little expensive but I feel that way about any plumber that walks in the house. I thought they were comparable to other services that I have had. Actually, I have used them before years and years ago and that was a good experience as well. I would definitely use them again if needed.
Description of Work: I had a leak beneath the kitchen sink and he ended up replacing a few parts with that and put a new drain.

+ -1 moreThey are very expensive, but at least they come over when they are supposed to. They are good too, but I spent a lot more than I anticipated. They call ahead of time to remind us that they would be coming as opposed to people who don’t show up. A couple of years ago we had to replace a water heater and their price was way higher than the others. I use Benjamin Franklin Plumbing because I know they are reliable. They come over to our house for even the most minor issues. I would use them again even though they are pricey.
Description of Work: We used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to replace the pump on our downstairs laundry sink.

+ -1 morePlumbers were very clean and neat and outlined the price for me at the start. They had to cut a hole in the shower wall to replace on/off valve. Also, had to remove old toilet and replace with new one. It took them over 4 hours to complete the job. They were very clean, very neat and very courteous.

He also included a very good guarantee with the work. They were a bit pricey, but all plumbers are these days. I definitely recommend this reliable company.
