Received an estimate to have all blinds replaced in my condo in Keansburg, NJ and determined costs were too expensive.

The sales person was a delight, and dealing with the office was a pleasure, the installers were prompt and did an excellent job.

It went very well. The blinds were installed in less than 2 hours for the entire house. The people were very experience and professional.

Annie, the saleswoman for Slats & Pleats, arrived on time for our appointment. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with what products might work better. She could not have been more friendly and was a joy to work with. After my order was placed I was notified when it came in and set up the installation appointment. The installers arrived when schedule and had everything up and working very quickly. They also were very helpful and courteous.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was okay. They had told us that they would be here bewtween 2 and 5, and they got here at 5.30. They had measured one window wrong and so the blind was short. They said they would be here today between 11 and 12. My husband called at 10 after 12, and said that they were not yet here, so they said that they would be here in 15 minutes. I called at 20 to 1pm and I don't know who answered, and I said they are not here yet, and she said yes so? I told her that we waited 3 hours the last time, and she said that last time didn't matter. I told her that they were supposed to be here before noon, and she said that they are very busy, and asked me what I wanted and asked if she should call them to cancel it. I told her that she didn't need to be snippy, and she asked if I just called to complain. I was really ticked. They were there 5 minutes later, but I could not believe her attitude. The 2 guys who did the installation could not be any better, they were very nice, but the lady on the phone was unbelievable. Her attitude was hostile. The shades are great, the two guys are great. They measured wrong the first time, and she was very rude. The pricing was better than average.

Serviceman was extremely knowledgeable and was able to repair blinds that other companies could not.

It worked out ok. It was a little delayed, but that was because it was around the holiday.

Great to deal with. They came when promised, quickly measured and provided guidance on colors and materials. They called when the blinds and shutters came in, and installed based on my schedule. Very professional. The shutters and blinds are high quality (so they were expensive). I really like the results. I will be using Slats and Pleats again for a future order.

I am very happy with this company and Paul Rein who is extremely polite and very professional. His office staff is easy to work with over the phone and through email. Calls are returned promptly and appointments made quickly. Paul and his assistants arrived for both consultation/measurement and installation within the time frame promised. I would not hesitate to use this young man and his company again and to recommend him to others!

We have a lot of sunshine on the one side of our house. Reluctantly we finally decided not to have a sun tan for 2-3 hours every summers day so we installed matching blinds to 2 of our windows. We already had a blind on the door and on another window so it was extremely important to match exactly what we already had installed 4 years ago. Slats and Pleats were absolutely perfect in every regard. The lady who came out to explain our options gets hi marks and Paul who installed them 2 weeks later was a real pro. Delighted in every aspect Definitely would recoomend them. Price was great and they are real pros.

it went very easy, with matching the color to the wall , and helping me to pick out a pattern i could live with,to installing them, in about 2 weeks.....it all went very easy ,he was in and out of the house very quickly.....he was polite, and quiet and knew his job very well

IT was an excellent experience as reported above. His initial visit to measure and help with window selections through this final installation visit were seamless and painless for the customer. He is careful and talented, professional and polite. Highly recommend!

I discovered Slats & Pleats through Angie's List and purchased a Big Deal after reading many favorable reviews. I set up an appointment through Phyllis, who was friendly and accommodating. Paul came out as scheduled to go over the numerous options that were made available to me. Paul was helpful and knowledgeable and never rushed me in making my decision. I purchased 4 Hunter Douglas wooden blinds of which two of them were for very large window spans in two different bedrooms. I also purchased some very nice add ons to enhance the finished look of the blinds. Paul came out after Hurricane Sandy, no mean feat, to install them. The installation took no time, there was no mess left behind and Paul removed the old blinds, to dispose of them, at no additional cost. I have now had the blinds for a month and love them. They were the perfect choice - good quality and very attractive. The blinds have completely renewed the look of the bedrooms because of their very clean, sophisticated appearance.

Paul is awesome. He had to come back to fix a blind that's a bit challenging and he did, at no cost,. He guarantees his work for 1-year and stood behind this guarantee. He also found easy and inexpensive solutions to fixing some other issues we had in the house besides the window covering we initially called him to service.

They arrived at the time they said they would; they did the work without interfering with my working from home. Great job, professionally done.

They let me know what I could get for less and what the advantages were of the different choices. I selected the blinds that I felt fit me with knowledge of what I was actually selecting.

Their service turned out well. They got there on time. It didn’t take too long, he was very efficient. He was pleasant. When I set up the appointment, the person who answered the phone was pleasant as well.

Their service was great. They quoted me a price and there was a screw up with the insurance. I live in a condo and the insurance had to be perfect. They had to actually come a third time. When they billed me they actually gave me a discount at the end that they hadn’t told me they were going to do. He was very kind. I have not seen the finished results, but the tenants and realtor say it is perfect. I was always able to reach them. They always responded immediately. I never did see them in person or the outcome of the work, since I wasn’t there.

I chose to work with Paul Rein's "Slats & Pleats" after reviewing the companies rated in Angie's List and doing some comparison shopping. Paul's office handled all calls related to scheduling appointments and was professional and pleasant to work with. I am comfortable recommending Slats & Pleats and will use him again for other jobs in my home.

They are just great. Nice, clean, polite, good price and great work. I couldn't have asked for better service.

Although we did not have Slats & Pleats do our work, I was left so impressed with the company and individual that I'd call them first if we need any future work.
