Things went very smoothly. The company is extremely well run, appointments are made convenient to the customer and service is on time and professional. Installation was quick and no trash was left behind. Although the Hunter-Douglas window treatments were pricey, they were custom fitted to my windows and it was money very well spent. I can't say enough good things about Slats and Pleats. I would definitely hire them again if I decide to get new window coverings for the rest of the house.

All around they did a great job. Showed up on time for original estimate and discussion. Was very knowledgeable and fully explained all our options. For the installation they showed up before the scheduled time. The installers were very professional and installed all the blind quickly. They cleaned up very well and took away all the old blind materials.

It went very well, Paul and his team did a great job. All of the blinds look great and he was very patient and helpful in picking out and selecting what we needed. Once installed we made a couple of tweaks which he took care of no problem.

This was a perfect transaction. This is a weekend home, so I was only available on the weekends for the measurement and then the installation. The representative arrived on time with heavy books in hand in order to choose the blinds. The installation was scheduled a few weeks later, a confirmation phone call followed and the great looking blinds were installed at the appointed hour. The transaction was smooth from start to finish.

He was quick to respond. He was very fast and he did such a wonderful job that I have used him again already.

Phyllis, set up an appointment and Paul and his assistant arrived on time to show my wife and I their wares and to measure the windows. After selecting our blinds and doing the paperwork, Paul explained the process and timeline. While there Paul repaired two of our old shades to hold us until the installation. It took about three weeks to get our blinds due to the odd size of our windows,Phyllis called when they came in and set up the installment time. Paul and his trusty assistant arrived on time and did an excellent job putting up the blinds. After cleaning up and removing all the packing etc. we finished our financial obligations, Paul gave us our final instructions and paper work. Paul and Phyllis are very friendly and accessible to answer questions or whatever, they were prompt and professional in all things, I would definitely make use of their services again, and recommend them to any one.

Made it easy. Were responsive and met us at our home and helped guide us through the choices and recommendations. Our home was hit by hurricane Sandy and we had a lot of windows!

I recommended Slats and Pleats to my sister from Angie's List, and she decided to give them a call. Paul, the owner, came as planned in November and took all the measurements for the windows and for the french doors. It took about 6 weeks or so to get the shutters installed, as was promised. (My sister wanted the shutters without the middle spines, so I believe this may have taken longer than those with the spines.) The installers came, and it took them the better part of the day to do the installation. They were very polite, careful, and professional. All and all, this was a very positive experience. The shutters look beautiful, and fit perfectly. My sister was very pleased with Slats and Pleats!

We bought a coupon that allowed us to buy $500 worth of Hunter Douglas window treatments for $100. Paul came and measured all the windows in our newly built home. He spent a lot of time with us helping us to make decision. He gave us a detailed estimate. It was much higher then we had budgeted for. We checked with competitors and found that Slats and Pleats's prices were competitive. Hunter Douglas products are expensive. We decided to purchase from Blinds to Go which was more affordable. We used the coupon towards the purchase of a single Hunter Douglas shade for our master bathroom from Slats and Pleats. All of our calls were returned promptly and they arrived on time for appointments. There was no high pressure even when we decided not to buy the bulk of our window treatments from him.

No work has been completed as yet, but I have ordered my blinds and am awaiting delivery in a few weeks. Staff at Slats and Pleats were easy to work with and very friendly. They took measurements and then helped me choose blinds that would work with my windows.

I initially saw Slats & Pleats on Angie's list with excellent reviews and a coupon for $100 for $200 in product. When I called, Phyllisguided me to an Angie's Big Deal for $223 for $500 in product. Paul Rein, business owner, came out with an assistant and did the measurements and provided excellent samples to assist us in choosing the correct matching color and wood type. He quoted us $565 for the complete project, with a 2-3 week delivery. The blinds came in in 2 weeks. Paul came out with another installer and did an excellent job installing the blinds. We both noticed that due to the unique angles of the bay window, the valance didn't come all the way to the edge. Paul immediately ordered a new valance & was back out in 2 weeks to install it. The final installation was absolutely perfect!! Many thanks to Phyllis, Paul and the other assistants/installers for an excellent job done! I would absolutely recommend Slats & Pleats for any window treatments.

I had three Hunter Douglas custom blinds installed. After some use one of the motors malfunctioned and without question or hesitation, they were fixed and work beautifully. Communication with all involved was always professional and friendly. After our renovation, we will be calling on Slats and Pleats again.

Paul and his team just left after installing the solar shades and blinds ( three weeks after order). He and his team were helpful, polite and professional. Paul made sure we were happy with the treatments and made minor adjustments that I asked for (strictly cosmetic). As Paul was leaving, he said if I have concerns or questions we should call him; he will come back and rectify any issue at no charge. He and his team take pride in their work and want their customers happy which is very important.

We installed Hunter Douglas cellular shades in our kitchen and family room. I am extremely happy with the company and the results. | |The owner, Paul, came to the house with samples. He is a very pleasant and professional guy. He helped me figure out the best way to cover my kitchen windows, sliding glass door and the very large expanse of full length windows and sliding glass door in the family room. Our house has an open, contemporary design, so these two rooms need to coordinate. I previously had vertical blinds on these windows but wanted to try something different. We picked out cellular shades to enhance our energy efficiency and cut down on drafts in the winter. Paul recommended the vertical sliding cellular shades for the sliding door in the kitchen and across the entire expanse in the family room. Originally, we were going from one side to another and the quote included that, saving us some money. When Paul came to install, he informed me that Hunter Douglas would not allow a one side slider so he had to order a split in the middle. He did not charge me the extra cost - I was pleasantly surprised! | |He and his team were very professional, arrived on time and were in-and-out quickly. I spent more money than I had budgeted, but I knew that the Hunter Douglas product is very good and has a great guarantee. I love the product. It looks great, has nice clean lines and is easy to open and close. Now that the weather has gotten cold, I definitely notice how well it helps to cut down drafts. | |Thanks Paul!
