Mike the cleaner was on time and reasonably priced and he did a good job.

This was my first time using a Angie's List Big Deal, and it was very disappointing. The price advertised was $74.50,for chimney cleaning and inspection. I signed up for the cleaning, and got a receipt. I received a call to confirm the order was received and a date was sent. The day before they called to confirm and ask my the height of the chimney. The price was for 10 feet only. I don't know many chimneys that are only 10 feet high. They offered to clean the entire chimney if I also signed up for vent cleaning. This sounds very much like bait and switch to me. It was not the only time they tried to upsell me on the vent cleaning. I have come to belief that they really want to do vent cleaning and the chimney cleaning is only the way to get into the house. I negotiated a price just for the chimney. They came as scheduled and cleaned the chimney. To the best of my knowledge, no inspection of the outside of the chimney was ever done. If it was done, nothing was said to me nor indicated on the receipt. I must say, the entire time, both the person I spoke to on the phone and the person who did the cleaning were very nice. The woman on the phone apologized for not confirming the 10 feet price when they received the order. Anyway, I expected much more from an Angie's list big deal. I would not repeat using them for chimney cleaning. Since vent cleaning seems to be their thing, that experience might be much better.

They were polite, professional and did a nice job cleaning our dirty vents.

Arrival time fell well outside of scheduled window, but company did call to say he would be late due to weather. Beside punctuality service was performed without a problem. Paid extra to have furnace blower cleaned. It was quite clogged and in need of service. Overall a good experience and system is working more efficiently

It snowed the night before our cleaning was scheduled and the company called in advance to advise that the gentleman who was doing the cleaning would probably be late (it was originally scheduled for between 11 am and 1 pm). The gentlman called around 1:40 to advise that he would be at the house in 20 minutes. He was very polite, advised what he would have to do and how long it would take to perform the cleaning. He even tolerated me following him around asking multiple questions. He was very thorough and advised us about what we should expect to happen after the cleaning. I am very pleased with the whole experience.

I'm something of a sceptic, but I figured if it was Angie's List, he would be OK. I didn't actually watch him with the chimney or the dryer vent, but I assume he cleaned them. I had purchased a Big Deal for half price, $74.50. When I called to schedule, I was told that was just for the first ten feet of the chimney and there would be an additional charge for the rest of the chimney. That seemed a little strange, but I accepted it. It did not take him very long and he did not leave any mess.

At first they canceled the appointment. The company could not do the service. The company told me to get a refund.

The men arrived and were very polite, explained what they were doing and answered questions. When the ducts were cleaned they showed me the bag with the dust removed, they had only done 1 job prior that day, more than half of the dust was from our house. Very glad that I got this done finally.

Two men came promptly. The head of the two men offered extra services for extra fee, such as to clean the dryer's vent. Since I just subscribed to this company through Angie's List's promotion, I did not take up the extra offers. The men were pleasant. I did remind the men that two of the vents were not attended. They finished the job. I think it is a fair job for $199.00.

I had difficulties initially having an appointment. However, Mike went out of his way and came to my residence to clean the ducts when one of his other customers was not able to attend to the appointment.

. Very well, very fast, with little or no interruption to our daily activities. The serviceman came in and appraised the situation, was able to connect from the truck to the house through the garage easily and first worked in the basement. He cleaned, in addition to ductwork from the basement, for a small additional cost, the blower fan in the furnace which was also in bad need of cleaning. he was very fast in moving through the house and I was pleased to see he was very neat and clean. he offered to take off his shoes when first coming in to keep the carpet clean. (It was not necessary. ) he was cleaned up and finished and out of the house within the course of an hour. he was professional and friendly. I would use the Vent Cleaners again.

the technician was more concerned with trying to sell me additional services and do add on work before even completing the work that i purchased. i have two units in my home - upstairs and down. unbeknownst to me, the upstairs system has many more returns and mains than the less complex downstairs unit - we just purchased the home a week prior. i requested the technician to work on the upstairs but he talked me into doing the downstairs - i didnt understand the complexity issue so thought it was fine. my deal that i purchased directly from anghie's list would have covered all of the work in the upstairs but since i took the advice of the technician, had to pay extra when the next service came a few days later to clean the upstiars vents. further, i dont beleive he deodorized/sanitized the vents but simply blew them clean. not recommended!

The technician was very professional. He arrived on time and worked hard. The only extra charges were to clean the furnace and the dryer vent. There always seems to be additional services and charges. I was pleased with the service when they left. Since I had never had my ducts cleaned before I didn't really know what to expect. I was a bit surprised that the vent covers were not removed and no brushes were used. An air compressor was used to push the dirt down in most cases through the vent cover. I did see a large amount of dirt picked up by the vacuum. I was assured that this was a complete cleaning and Mike told me if I found any dirt in the system he would come back. Overall a positive experience..

Once we got past a problem in their appointment system, we were very satisfied with their work ethic, quality, price, value.

It took a while to get them to respond after I paid for the "Angie's List Special Offer" but after a few emails and phone calls we schedules an appointment. A guy and his wife/girlfriend (she stayed in the van) showed up in an unmarked van with a compressor and a huge suction device in the back. In less than an hour the guy had cut a hole in a basement duct, blown air down our vents and was on his way. The extra $50 I paid for "cleaning the dryer duct" was a joke. He couldn't get at the duct so he blew compressed air into the lint catcher. Useless. Sanitizing and deoderizizng? Unless compressed air sanitizes and deoderizes this did not happen. We've never had this done before but so I have no way of knowing if this cleaning did anything. While he was working I monitored the traslucent hose attached to the duct that was supposed to be sucking out the stuff in the duct but I couldn't see anything. He offered to show me what came out but the "catch bag" was full when he started so there was no way to tell if the process did anything. It seemed pretty lame to me. While the technician was plesent and seemed to know what he was doing, they were not very professional. I would not reccomend this company and would not hire them again.

Very professional, punctual and thorough. I was very satisfied with the services. The technician was knowledgeable about the process and explained his work at every step. Tech was careful to clean up any debris.

Technician called to advise he was running 15-minutes behind schedule. Arrives as planned and explained different ways of vent cleaning and preceded to do his thing. He was very clean and friendly.

I called this company for service and received an appointment for the same day. The service professional came over with his equipment and did an excellent job cleaning furnace, air ducts and dryer vents. They seemed very thorough in what they do and worked efficiently. Mike went above and beyond his way to provide some other tips to keep my heating system operating at high efficiency. I highly recommend their services. They are very honest, dedicated, hard working and most importantly take a lot of care and pride in what they do.

Everything went well. You could see from my furnace air filter how much dust they cleaned out of the returns, and from their vacuum bag how much they got out of the supply vents. Mike explained everything and was very efficient and careful about keeping things clean. They utilize a big vacuum hose in your system and then go to all the supply or return vents and use a compressor to blow air into the venting and once that is up off the sides, the vacuum sucks it in. Was happy I had the work done!

at the beginning of this experience i was a little bit doubtful of the authenticity of the company (i'm not to trustworthy when it comes to these types of deals) but after experiencing first hand their service i have completely changed my mind! not only was the office helpful during the scheduling process, the technician was on time, polite, and walked me through the entire process of the service before he got started with the job.
