the pest guy was not overly friendly but he did spray all around the house and we have not seen any bugs since he sprayed. i talked to the owner who explained they will come out a toal of 3 times this season to spray and more often if bugs are seen. the owner was wonderful in explaining everything to me and i highly reccommend this company to anyone who has pest problems. they stand behind their word/work

I got 3 bee stings yesterday, so I wanted this bee nest in my backyard removed ASAP. I called around 10 am and they said they'd be here at noon today. The guy was even a few minutes early. He took care of the problem quickly. I don't recall if it was wasps or hornets, but they weren't the good kind of bees that we need to pollinate crops. I was relieved to have the bees gotten rid of the same day I called. Both the guy who took my phone call, and the man who came to do the job, were very pleasant. .

when i tried to explain the problem the man who showed up he made faces and dismissed everything i was saying and asking like i was a complete idiot. he didnt seem interested in what i was saying and would not give me anything in writing saying what the spraying would prevent such as termites or ants or anything so i really dont know what the 300 dollars i spent was for. he gave me a blank recpt with nothing written on it. i have stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and i feel like i was totally ripped off. i dont have a lot of money and cant afford to lose 300 dollars. i still see tons of ants around my house. he couldnt explain to me what exactly the spray would kill. i called for wood eating bugs and the girl on the phone said it would kill them but the man who came said it doesnt and that i didnt have wood eating bugs but he sprayed and took my money anyway and then would not put in writing what it would cover. i feel raped.

After a few conversations the service was agreed upon and it was explained that there was no evidence of a current issue however droppings were discovered and needed to be removed and attic treated. The service tech said he was never told that he need to remediate any issues and was not equipped to remove or handle the issue. He told us to deal with it and to lay new insulation. The only activity performed by the tech was laying traps in the attic. Gee I could have done that myself for a lot less that $200+! Despite several calls to the office no one has gotten back to us. Would not recommend or use again.

They seem very nice. They came back a second time because they're still at the situation. I'm still waiting to see if its cleared up but they have been very nice about everything. They're punctual. Sometimes its hard to get rid of those critters. I'm not blaming them for that at all. Its just a matter of time I think. They were very professional and they followed up.

We are fortunate to call this company since they know how to handle these carpenter bee. Within 15 mins, there were at least 6 or 7 of the bees came out from the wooden plate beneath the patio staircase after the treatment was applied. It was effective.

They came on time and did the job perfectly! Explained what he was going to do and started promptly.

The service was provided very quickly and professionally. He had us make sure all the doors and windows were closed before he started the process. It took about an hour to complete it and we have not seen any wasps trying to build nest after that.

The representative arrived promptly at the scheduled appointment time. He got on a ladder and checked every conceivable crevice where it could gain entry. He was very thorough and determined that it had gained entry through a tear in the screen that once covered a vent. I had other pest control companies also give estimates and they all stood in my driveway looking at the house. Not one actually touched the house by getting on a ladder and taking a good look. However they gave estimates to just add traps or put "stuff" down, never even suggesting to close any entrance ways. Some estimates were outrageous in price, for not even determining where it got in or fixing the problem. Which to me was most important to keep the squirrel from gaining entrance into my home at another time. Mantis, installed a one way tunnel over the torn screen area, so that the animal if it was in the house, could get out but not re-enter. After one and half weeks, the representative returned to remove the tunnel and put in a new screen, hence no more entry, no more squirrel. I am finally at peace again. Problem solved. I am truly satisfied, happy and relieved that I phoned Mantis. I would recommend their services to anyone who wants a pest control problem solved in a fair, honest and thorough manner. Can't get better than this!!!

We had wasps outside the house and yellow jackets going through the soffit that leads to the attic. Purchased the $160 deal at Angie's List. Made an appointment right away. They treated the areas and the pests were gone the next day. It took about 20 minutes having to climb 2 stories. They forgot to treat the perimeter which was part of the deal. I contacted them, they apologized, and said they will come back in the Spring to do the treatment.

Fine, just more expensive than thought because it was high up.

They said they would come back if the problem came back within 30 days. Even though it was more than 30 days, they came back because it is very unusual for Carpenter Bees to return in September. They came back at the appointed time and re-did the spraying of the area for carpenter bees. I am so very happy that they came back and felt that the service they provided the first time seemed to not have kept the carpenter bees at bay. I was quite willing to pay for the service again because the first time they did come out the carpenter bees did die out.

They did a great job removing some large, destructive wood-boring wasp nests. Very professional and were timely.

Mantis representative arrived to the property on time, inspected all areas of the house and identified areas where mice was able to get in, cover those entrances and treated all affected areas. Very fast service. I'm glad I choose them over the other company. The price difference was minimum, the service was great.

Tom was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Once I explained the situation, he thoroughly examined the bushes and the surroundings. The nest was located on the side of the house. He removed it. There was also a nest of yellow jacket wasps hidden in a tree hollow. Once both nests were taken care of, he took time to answer my questions about hornets and wasps. Thank you Tom.

Tom with Mantis Pest Control Inc. was wonderful. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and what was happening as he checked the property for the yellow jacket nest. This young man did an excellent job and was very professional. The price was reasonable and they were able to come the same day I called. If the need ever arises that I need a pest control/exterminator again I would not hesitate to call Mantis Pest Control.

Everything went well. The provider was definitely knowledgable about various pest. I learned a lot due to his ability to give the information about the pest that he was dealing with that day. Actually, I am afraid of bees of any type. It was a also amazing how the Cicadas would fly very close to the provider.At that point he explained that they are more intimidating looking than harmful. The guy who came was very good and knowledgable. He was on time (actually came a little early) and gave me a call when he was on his way to my house. It's been about 2 weeks since the treatment and I haven't seen any more yellow jackets. The cost is also quite reasonable.

I scheduled the appt. and the individual arrived on time and examined the decks and home to ensure that it was only carpenter bees and not any other insect or pest damage. He answered questions about the chemicals that would be used and how long or effective the chemicals would be and the potential for harm to pets if any. He was professional, friendly and efficient.

Scheduling was prompt and they were out within 3 days. The service was great. The technician took care of all the bugs.

I had a yellow jacket nest that needed to be taken care of immediately. They were great! They came out right right away and were there promptly, answered all my questions and took care of the problem. I was very happy with them and I would use them again if I needed to.
