They lied to me. They told me the water heater comes with 10 years warranty. They told me that at least 3 times. I trusted them because send them to me. After I paid and they left I find out it has only 6 years of warranty.

Not only did Garden State Water Heaters BEAT THEIR COMPETITORS PRICES, but they were terrifically communicative, prompt and thoroughly professional. From my initial phone call through the job itself (the next day!) they were spot on. I wish that all service professionals were as responsive and competent as these guys. I"m a big fan of Garden State Water Heaters -- can you tell? :)

Roger and Tom did a great job with new water heater installation. I had them replace two 40 gallon heaters with pan and drain pipes. The work was done clean and fast. There was one day delay in the scheduled date due to Carmine’s health issues. Hope he is doing well. We also had a back and forth with the quote on the day of installation for the drain pipes. But overall, I am very happy with the quality of the install and would highly recommend them.

Steve was great and always kept in communication. His workers were very respectful and professional. They came very quick as this was my elderly MIL 's house. They assessed the situation and suggested different options and fixed our water heater issue. The job ended up being a little more involved (very old (30 yrs) water heater and piping) so the price increased but was not horrible.

Would give 5 starts if the additional charge ($200) for moving the water softner out of the way and move it back for the installation was mentioned in the original conversation. I already told the manager (or the sales) that there is a water softner installed in front of the water heater that needs to be moved out and back in for the installation. The manager said no problem and gave me the total installation cost. The work was done clean and right.

I do believe that the people at Garden State Water Heaters have good intent and are skilled at their work. We had our water heater go out and hired Garden State to replace it. We did however notice a significant leak with the new water heater the very same day as the installation. We tried to contact them about the issue, repeatedly, but did not receive ANY communication from them for about 48 hours. That is inexcusable I think. I can respect if you maybe could not get back out to my home right away but we deserved to hear back from you right away instead of being left twisting in the wind. I do want to thank the owner, Carmine, for coming out and putting in a new unit once we did finally get ahold of them. To their credit, the new unit does not leak and we have hot water again. So again, I do think that they are skilled plumbers and are even good people but they seriously need to work on their communication and customer service.

They came out to my house quickly. They assessed that the larger tank that I originally ordered was not going to fit and were able to find install a smaller version within 1.5 hrs

The pricing for hot water install was very competitive in the area. The installation was neatly done. Any concerns after installation were swiftly addressed.

Would have given them all 5 Stars but they forgot to relight my furnace pilot after having turned off the gas and then back on to check water heater operation, luckily I checked for leaks which there were none and noticed the furnace pilot was out the next day.

Carmine was amazing. He was helpful, honest and clear about our various options. He was able to come to our home quickly to replace our water heater and at a great price. We just had the town come for the required inspection and everything was in order. Carmine's office even prepared the paperwork for the permit! Very happy customer!
